The shopper left without making a purchase, as did my little group. 1: why did the register person feel the need to accost the shopper? 2: They lost at least 4 purchases in that moment, and I won't be back if I see that lady at the register again. And then I wonder if it was the owner at the register? 3: shops complain about losing business, but if this is what's going on, then yeah, they're losing business. There were many interesting things I would have purchased, had it not been for this interaction.

He said to come back if there was any issues so we did. In less than two months, the soles were coming off of these almost $200 shoes. My husband came in to get assistance and instead of providing any solution, that same guy that was helpful became dismissive, rude, and argumentative. Even if it wasn't warrantied, he absolutely did not need to be rude about it and basically ended the conversation by saying "bye." He should be fired for treating customers that way. Extremely disappointing. The older gentleman that works there seems kind, but it's not worth shopping here if they're only pleasant to deal when you're purchasing. Shop elsewhere.

As for Fred Meyer in GP, I've been very happy to shop here. Most of the employees are friendly most of the time. It's clean, well lit, has a decent variety and the prices are comparable to some of the other stores in GP. I also like that there's a gas station at this location and I get a little discount at the pump after shopping. If you want to save a little more, there are coupons available if you create an account on their Website. Generally speaking, this store can provide a good shopping experience if you have a good attitude and don't let the small stuff get under you skin. Ended up loading everything myself because I could not deal with middle age man passive aggression I was experiencing. What exactly do they even get paid to do? Incredibly rude.

Today a "greeter" if you could call her that- said no shopping or entrance without a physical member card in hand. When told we have been there many times without, she claimed not possible they have always been this way. Clearly, not true. When a "greeter" argues and doesn't want you to go in, that's a big red flag to take our business elsewhere. I have purchased a few bigger items at a decent price but the rest isn't any bargain at all. So I can get anything there same price or less elsewhere which I will do. Sad.
