Friendly place. They got my shirts back to me quicker than expected. Took a little while to get someone to help me at the counter.

They recently change locations and I could not be more disappointed in the other changes that they have made. A standard offer of service for them was a reasonable rate if you dropped off your dry cleaning before 10 AM you would get it back after 5 PM same day. Now to get that same service it's four days. If you drop off after 8:30 AM on a Monday you will not get it back till after five on a Thursday. If you want it quicker like they used to do Dash literally last week - you have to pay three dollars extra. For a pair of pants that was six dollars that I could get same day is now nine dollars to get into days is such a huge drop off in the previous service that they offered that it is no longer acceptable. Never will I go here again! A dog was in a vehicle by the front door. As I was getting my items to bring into the store, the dog lunged out the window at me, barking wildly, nearly biting me inches from my head!!!! I screamed and got back in my car!!! FRIGHTENING!!!! Three employees came out, one of them put all the windows up on the vehicle. I then called to let them know how upset I was that none of them could have even apologize. ONLY GOT WORSE!! Come to find out it was the owners dog and he only made excuse!!! Glad I was not harmed, but I hope the poor dog is ok being in a vehicle with all the windows up!!!!! read more

I concur with Marty below. Dolbeer has changed to a temporary location and also changed their name. Currently, they do not do any in-house dry cleaning and ship all items to Columbus for cleaning hence the four day service. I am hopeful that they will find a new location which will permit them to reinstall their equipment and return to same day service. Their previous service and staff were very good and reasonably priced but with the change, I'm looking elsewhere. The problem is that the alternate choice is Capital Cleaners but I believe that it has closed in Springfield. I believe that EPA and zoning regulations are strangling this industry, thereby reducing our availability of cleaners. read more

Always friendly customer service. Prices are reasonable. Unfortunately, the length of time for regular laundry service has been extended although one can pay extra for next day return. One just has to plan a little better if you need something cleaned without paying extra. That's not always possible, but generally doable. Quality of normal laundry/dry cleaning is excellent although some tougher cleaning issues will have to be taken elsewhere. read more

Inconsistent service and often un-friendly. Business shirts are pressed inconsistently, and last time one was scorched.

If I could give zero stars I would. This place was a complete nightmare. I'm from Springfield but I live in Chicago now. I came home for a wedding and turned in my jacket and they completely ruined my clothes. They said because I sweated in the jacket (it was dry when I turned it in) that the stains they had all over it were my fault. When I turned it in, nothing was actually nothing on it. The jacket was actually pretty clean but I wanted it to be pristine. When I picked up the jacket the fabric was wrecked. I have had my jacket dry cleaned once every two weeks since I got it, but somehow they said it was from the fact I sweated in it. I talked to a dry cleaner in Chicago who said that was BS but that the fabric was ruined from them. The manager was terrible, he was rude and gave terrible service. He disrespected me and I highly highly recommend NOT coming here. read more

New whites come back dingy, pressed pants and dresses with wrinkles. Only thing I'm pleased with was shoe service but I know for a fact it's not done in-house. Looking for new dry cleaner read more

I took a 100% cotton queen size down filled bedspread in to have it DRY CLEANED. When I got it back it was rolled up in a bag. When I put it on the bed it was terribly wrinkled, and still had stains. I took it back and they said they would re-do it. I asked if it could be hung up rather than put in a bag. I went to pick it up and it was again rolled up in a bag. They said they would re-do it once again. This time I am thinking they are just going to press it. I went to pick it up on the day they told me and it wasn't ready. They said it was still in the washer!! The washer?? It was supposed to be dry cleaned!!! To make matters worse, she told me that when they hung it up to dry, it got rust all over the back, so they had to do it a fourth time, and the hem came out (which they fixed). I just went to pick it up, came home, put it on the bed and not only is it still terribly wrinkled, but the hem was sewn in crooked, AND it shrunk.
