Roscia is the first person we call for any plumbing issue. Always professional and prompt and they do a great job.

I began work with them some years back when the temperature outside was extremely low and I had no heat. I did not have a regular plumber at the time and not surprisingly, when I made a lot of calls I was told that they were busy w their regular customers and could not say when they could help me. When I reached Roscia's they were able/willing to help with the emergency which led to an ongoing positive experience. Looking at some reviews-I have never found Jill who takes calls or the plumbers, to be anything other than nice and respectful, give me the info I need as well. I had gotten a new boiler nine years ago and unfortunately learned from Roscia's that this brand at that time was a problem. Roscia has done work for us several times and they've always been prompt, easy to work with, the pricing has been fair and they've fixed the problem! Just had them in today - - because we had no heat. They problem solved beautifully and found out it was an electrical issue. My water heater leg go on a weekend, naturally. I called Roscias, explaining my delima. In less than 24 hours Roscias came with a new water heater. installed it and hauled away the old one. Our only shower clogged. After snaking it as best i could, still clogged. Called to see if someone can come out to clear it and provide a quote to replace a p trap if necessary. Wouldn't know how they are because they said they wouln't be able to come by for over two weeks all because we haven't used them before. We haven't used any plumber before! We just bought the house 3 years ago. I get people are busy and so on, but this is an emergency to some degree (we don't have any shower now). I have called them twice for 2 separate plumbing issues and neither time were they able to fix the problem. The first time they came because our toilet kept clogging. I told them that we've snaked it ourselves multiple times and it clears up for a little bit but then gets backed up. All they did was snake it themselves and declared it fixed. It got backed up days later. A plumber came from a different company and offered to remove the toilet to find the issue (after actually listening to me) and low and behold he found something stuck in there that all the snakes had missed! Haven't had an issue with that toilet since. The second time we called was for a leak in the ceiling of our first floor. Water was dripping through the night before. They came the next day and weren't able to figure out where it came from and left. read more

First they installed a sump pump that soakEd my basement floor, this after waiting 4 months for them to do the job. Next , advised me to drain sump water into my neighbor's yard. When requested to change drainage location, after another 2 month wait for their availability, they brought too short tubing and placed drainage 180 degrees from requested site. None of these men seemed capable of providing good advice or information. When I called to complain the owner's daughter did NOT believe me and was rude and combative! Great service by Roscia Plumbing the other day at my condo. I submitted a request for a Plumber on Facebook for a washer / dryer install and they were very responsive to my need. They gave me a time window and showed up the next day. When they arrived and were working they were very diligent in doing their work. They hooked up the washer / dryer but also went above and beyond and make sure the unit was level. They also gave it a test run to ensure there were no leaks remaining. I had Roscia come out to solve a backed up shower drain after a previous plumber screwed it up and then ignored my phone calls to get it fixed. It took a few days for Roscia to come out as they had a backlog of work. When the plumber came, he quickly identified the issue and cleaned out the drain. We've had Roscia's out a few times to take care of various drain issues. The first time, it took them about two and a half hours to get a particularly stubborn issue resolved but because they said it would only take two hours only charged us for two hours. During that visit one of our older plastic pipes that they had to open must have cracked and started leaking. I called them up, they got someone right out and fixed the issue and didn't charge us for the callback. The second time they came out they were in and out fairly quickly -- all while I was on a conference call for work, in fact. Prices are reasonable, the employees are nice, I'd definitely recommend Roscia's if you're in Dedham and need a plumber. read more

I can't recommend these guys highly enough. Over the last 10 years they've helped us with furnace problems, water heater problems, stubborn clogs, and general plumbing in two different homes, and they've always been professional, efficient, punctual, and fairly priced. We've been using Roscia's for everything plumbing-related for about 4 years. Prior to that we would used a variety of plumbers for frozen pipes, messed up drains, installing sinks, renovations etc. We just found they were the ones who most consistently: 1. Responded quickly and, if we needed service urgently, were right there. 2. Fixed what was wrong. These guys know what they are doing. Almost always there is a junior plumber and a more senior person. Clearly, they are training their people. 3. Provided a fair price. Not the cheapest but certainly worth it. Just recently, I hired them to install a faucet I had purchased to replace what I thought was a hopeless old one. They fixed the old one very quickly and cheaply. Could have just done what I asked and charged me more. I was able to return the faucet I purchased. 4. Explained to me how to not need them more often! I have had regular problems with frozen pipes over the years. They recognized that they had been here before and one of their experienced guys walked through the house with me and showed me what I could fix and what practices I could put in place to avoid more problems. Again, they could just keep coming back and charging me. 5. Clean, courteous, professional. Never a mess. They are in, and then they are out. Often I am juggling working from home when they are here so they are as unobtrusive as possible. Bottom line: real pros, know what they are doing, and treat you fairly. After getting a quote from Pat for a boiler that was double what we got elsewhere for a comparable unit (17K vs 9K) we moved on. We got a much more thoughtful design in the long run. We knew their prices were high but thought they were nice & reliable until they made racists remarks about us not wanting to pay more for less. New plumber has fixed all of their mistakes- we are much better off. read more

After going through 2 plumbing companies in the last few years, I found myself in need of a new plumber. Many Dedham friends had recommended Roscia's Plumbing and I am so glad they did! What fast and great service I just received. They took my call on Sunday when my water heater busted, and helped me through the process of lessening the water damage in my basement.
