We just have Chris C. from Plumbing Solutions back out to our house for the second time. Why? We were so impressed with the first toilet replacement we ordered another! They just do a great job. They come into your house respectful, professional and timely. You get a text and a call when they are coming with a picture of the person showing up. Their prices are fair and work excellent. Can't recommend Plumbing Solution more. Jeff Hulton read more

When I initially called the experience was fine. Appointment was relatively fast to set up and Matt came to the house to check out the issue with our sink. The sink needed replacing, so he said a quote would be coming soon. It was at that point that things began to take a turn. Matt came on a Wednesday. By that Friday afternoon I had heard nothing regarding a quote or any additional information, so I called. I got the AI phone answer service "Dane", who is meant to sound real (with computer keyboard clicking and background voice noise) but is clearly not. AI Dane said that someone would call me back. Nothing. The weekend went by, Monday, Tuesday then Wednesday--a full week--went by. AI Dane was happy to take a message and have someone return my call. Only when I told AI Dane to cancel the project did I get a text--not a call--from someone named Chris (was he AI? who knows) saying that he thinks it will be "around $850." After all that waiting I would rather go through someone else. They may do good work--I can't speak to that--but their communication needs a lot of improvement. Update: Chris apparently is real, at least he said so in a text, and said that there were some issues that came up on their side and that they were sorry. Honestly, if a message had just been communicated to me that there were some issues and that that they would be able to get to it the following week, I would have been fine! I am not a jerk. But I do need businesses that make the effort to communicate clearly, which did not happen. read more

Plumbing Solutions diagnosed a problem we were having with our kitchen sink draining. They proposed a solution that would make it easier to clean out in the future. Arrived on time, project was on budget and solved our issue for the long term. Yakov did a great job explaining the issue and options, so we are completely satisfied with the outcome. Will definitely use Plumbing Solutions again. read more

We had a clogged toilet and Matt Sullivan, the owner responded very fast. The technician, Yakov Mints, came the next day and was able to fix it issue. He was very polite, professional, and I appreciate that he wore shoe covers when entering our home as we don't wear shoes in the house. Will recommend to friends. He did a great job. read more

If I could give a zero stars I would. I contacted this company to close out a couple plumbing permits that I had with the city. I didn't realize after I made the last payment for work that a prior plumber had done that he was didn't close out the permit. As result, we can't close on the sale of our house due to open permits. This is explained to the plumber, Matt Sullivan when we contacted him. Matt did come by and said it shouldn't be a problem to take care of the various things that the prior Plumber had done. He was very personable and certainly seemed to know what he was doing and he said he would contact the cities plumbing inspector and arrange for a meeting to verify what needed to be done. I called him back over the next 2 weeks no less than 10 times to check to see how things were going. The phone was never answered and so I left 10 voicemails. None of them were ever responded to. I called the company number several times and once or twice they answered out of half a dozen. They said that the plumber would contact me to close the permits. After nearly 3 weeks and me checking with the plumbing inspector Paul, who I've got to know quite well after all this, he said no one ever called and he suggested that I contact another plumber. We are supposed to be closing on the sale of this house in six days and these folks left me in a really bad situation. Whatever you do, don't use these people, you will get no response they will just waste your time, especially if you're trying to close on a sale. One lesson I learned from all this is, if any work is done on your property whether it's plumbing, electrical HVAC building make sure that they have pulled the permit and before you make your last payment that you have a copy of the closed permit in your hand, otherwise, no final check. I hope this can help someone. read more

George saved us again! Our heat was not working when we woke up. George quickly knew what the problem was. Major save thank you.

Having read many reviews, and seen M.Sullivan's truck in his driveway, I thought, might as well call our neighbor's company for a simple reset of a wobbling toilet. My mistake for not doing some other estimates and questioning the charges more thoroughly before giving the go ahead. PLUMBING SOLUTIONS, INC. - DEDHAM, MA SFN Service Fee: Thank you for allowing us to help you with your plumbing project today. $149.00 TR-RESET Toilet Reset: Shut off and drain a toilet tank and bowl. Disconnect from supply and flange to lift toilet and set aside. Clean all old wax seal from flange and toilet bowl. Replace wax seal and reinstall toilet. Shim when necessary to ensure solid installation. $396.00 MISC Unlisted Task: Secure toilet flange $125.00 TOTAL CHARGE $670.00 No, we didn't get a new toilet! After a less than 2 hour "repair" and $670.00 later, we have our toilet that no longer wobbles, with a new wax ring that probably set back Plumbing Solutions by no more than $10.00. I had a garbage disposal unit that needed to be fixed. I identified the issue late at night and sent a message to Plumbing Solutions since they had good reviews and were close by. They contacted me in the morning and gave me the first immediate opening. They sent over a very professional and qualified plumber (Enrique) and his assistant (Jake), and the office kept me posted on their ETA via text messages until they arrived. Less than 30 minutes later, they replaced the disposal with a new one, and the issue was resolved. I especially appreciate their customer service, courtesy, and professionalism. I like that they notify you about their arrival time every step of the way and that they wear plastic booties upon entering the home, and accept digital payments. I highly recommend them! read more

We suffered from water damage at the expense of a neighbor. We called plumbing solutions, who were initially quite helpful. When it came to questions that required extra communication, that is where we feel they dropped the ball. It took a while to find someone to answer our questions, probably a week or more of phone tag and emails. There was also quite a bit of miscommunication, from actually speaking with someone, to pricing/what option we chose. There were 2 options presented to us, with pricing differences of a few hundred dollars. It seemed like if we chose the more expensive option, it would include the initial work/first option PLUS final touches. This was sadly not the case, and they expected a few thousand for a few plug in/attachments (i.e. sink, dishwasher, garbage disposal). Front of house work (AKA actual appt work) went smoothly, along with the inspection. No concerns there! read more

We have been using Plumbing Solutions for some time now for various projects. Their customer service is great always quick to respond and their technicians are polite, neat and knowledgeable. Today Enrique came out to remove and replace our kitchen faucet. He was so nice and gave me info that guided me through a return and new purchase. He was respectful and kind, an asset to their company. I will request him in the future. read more

The team was excellent. They replaced my toilet with a new one, diagnosed and fixed the underlying pipes, which also needed replacement due to the initial installation being shoddy, and also fixed my shower bolt quickly and efficiently. (They also very nicely explained to me what exactly was happening with the pipes and the reasoning behind their recommendation and provided costs upfront). The team was also polite and pleasant to be around. Would definitely hire this company again! The only slight nit I have is that there is an $85 fee for 'small jobs', but I wasn't able to get a definition of what separates a small job from a large one, and generally don't love that there's a flat fee for this. However, the cost of the services overall was reasonable! Would still happily work with this company again :) read more

We reached out after a good experience a couple years ago and we're not disappointed! Plumbing Solutions is extremely responsive and communicative. We needed our water heater replaced and when Enrique came out with his crew, they gave us a ton of information about our options and we were able to get our tank drained, removed, and have a tankless heater installed all in one day! While we hope we won't need many repairs in the future, when we do, Matt and his team are first on our list to call! read more

I had a slow shower drain that needed to be fixed in my rental unit. I started out on a good foot with Plumbing Solutions. They answered the phone promptly and had someone come out right away. When the plumber came he said the trap on the shower was old and needed to be replaced. He also said it needed to be snaked. He used some silly price list on an iPad to look up an exorbitant price for the service. (Why not just charge time and materials like other plumbers?) I begrudgingly agreed to the high price because I needed it fixed for my tenant. He did the work quickly and the shower seemed to be running fine. I was satisfied with the work at the time even though it cost a whopping $675. A couple weeks later and the shower was backing up again but worse than before. My tenant also complained that the drain stopper was screwed on so tight she couldn't flip it. I tried to reach out to Plumbing Solutions to get it fixed but they ghosted me. I called multiple times and left multiple messages. They never responded. Meanwhile my tenant couldn't really shower. So I gave up and called Roscia's Plumbing instead. They came out, fixed the overtightened drain, and then snaked the trap. The visit from that plumber only cost me $150. The shower drain has been perfect since then. I will not use Plumbing Solutions again. read more

Our tub drain was backed up and plumbing solutions was quick to respond, easy to schedule and great to work with. They were able to fix the problem quickly and were cheaper than a different company we had used before. We recommend. read more

Thank you Plumbing Solutions! I am very impressed with their work, professionalism and price! Jose and Enrique from Plumbing Solutions were awesome. I highly recommend Plumbing Solutions. They installed a new toilet AND vanity for me. Quick response and quick booking times. Thanks again Matt and everyone at Plumbing Solutions. read more

Another outstanding job by Plumbing Solutions, this time by Yakov assisted by Tom. The pipe for outside spigots had burst inside the house wall. Yakov and his assistant Tom replaced the system and found areas of stress on the pipes that had been installed years ago. (off-vertical pipe stressing the connection, disintegrating spigot seals). All in all, they didn't simply repair the burst pipe but in effect upgraded the system at reasonable cost. Both men were highly professional, friendly, and thorough as well as excellent trouble-shooters, and they reviewed everything with me as it was done. We've used Plumbing Solutions for multiple jobs (old house, odd pipes), and everyone who has done work for us did a great job. read more

We had a persistently clogging kitchen sink which resisted all our amateur remedies. Multiple passes with draino, then baking soda and vinegar provided only temporary relief. Plumbing Solutions was available within 24 hours of our call. Two capable guys came out, assessed and cleared the clog with a motorized snake. Price: $418. Glad to have good help when you really need it. read more

I would share the concern that others have raised that Plumbing Solutions has difficulty following up with customers and can be difficult and tedious - hard to get good customer service if problems arise. read more

I saw all the positive reviews and called. I just moved into a house that needed a water line to the fridge and a new faucet in one of the showers. They were here on the 2nd day. Kevin was great explaining what needed to be done. I have a few more things that need to be done and will definitely use them again. One negative is their pricing, this project was $670.00 for 2-3 hours of work. They also quoted installing a toilet I bought at $500-600.00. I'll be doing this myself. read more

We requested a quote and Plumbing Solutions came out within a few days and promised to send a proposal within a few days. It's now been a few weeks. I've called twice and they say you'll hear from us ASAP - no word. Very disappointed. read more

Timely communications, fast resolution, thorough work completed on our busted sink. Will hire again.

Sullivan plumbing solutions are nothing short of amazing. I would highly recommend them for anything. They are very smart and always have an answer for all of your questions (even if you ask a lot) they never make you feel silly. Both Matt and Tim spend as much time as you need to go through discussing any issues you're having. They have never made a mistake and have been working for my family for 20 plus years. They are so friendly and respectful and truly THE BEST plumbers around the Boston area. I highly highly recommend. Rachel Polansky read more

I can't say enough great things about this company! My husband and I just bought a 100 year old house. Plumbing Solutions has been here 4 times in the last 6 months for small projects, inspections, and general maintenance. We've had Yakov, Artie, and Matt over to do the work. All of them have been very friendly and gave us fantastic service. They are always upfront about costs and try to save us money by troubleshooting and fixing rather than making us spend more on replacement. Plumbing Solutions will continue to be our go to for all of our plumbing needs. read more

Nice tech Artie and speedy service. I got two sillcocks and a valve replaced for outdoors. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for.

Besides the initial response. I did not hear back from Matt from my multiple contacts when reaching out on scheduling the job. I don't know what happens but not satisfied with this experience at all. read more

I had a great experience with Tim. He called to schedule a 2 hour window, and then in advance to specify timing within that range. He showed up on time, and quickly resolved our issue. He also gave me advice on how we can prevent the issue in the future. I found him to be very polite and courteous as well. As exhausted new homeowners, who have had thing after thing pop up in our new home, it's great to find professionals who are responsive and honest. read more

They seemed promising at first, they came and gave a ball park estimate saying we'll get the estimate by the end of the next day so I waited. And waited. I've called 5 times on different days asking for the estimate and it was always " that's strange, I'll tell ___ to call you". At this point, I've given up. Waste of time read more

Quick response, excellent work and I gave my neighbors their contact info. I failed to ask, beforehand, of the cost, and they have the typical cost of other plumbers who responded on Yelp. PLUS, apparently their working conditions are excellent and the owner of the company makes sure that they are treated well, fairly, and with respect. Highly recommended! read more

We had a beast of a kitchen faucet that had to be replaced. It was installed incorrectly many years ago. Artie did an amazing miracle of a job getting it out and the new one in. Thank you!!!!! read more

Like others have said here, Plumbing Solutions is a winner. Matt (and an apprentice, I believe) came to my house to fix a leaking tub drain. - Tim answered my call and made an appointment - Matt showed up on time - Matt quoted me what the repair would cost, before he began - Matt did a great job fixing the issue - I was charged what he quoted me, with no surprises - Matt was 100% professional and pleasant. So all in all, they are organized, punctual, skilled, pleasant - pretty much hit it out of the park, so I am very happy to recommend these folks. read more

I recently used Plumbing Solutions to: - Remove an old toilet in the basement that was no longer in use. - Install a utility sink in the basement. - Install a spigot in my backyard. Plumbing Solutions was extremely professional and came on site to give a free estimate. Matt took the time to explain what would need to be done for each task and the level of difficulty. Plumbing Solutions confirms when they will be on site with an estimated time of arrival. When on site, they are professional and extremely courteous. The job was done right and tidy up upon leaving. What made me give these guys '5' stars is the fact that Matt took the time to reach out to remind me how to prep the newly installed spigot for the winter because it runs through a crawl space and could freeze. That is above and beyond and the reason why Plumbing solutions will be my first phone call for any of my plumbing needs! read more

Matthew was great. Very professional, on time, and a great communicator. Full disclosure: I have been friends with Matt for a long time. Between my parents using him when I was younger and myself using him for Residential Properties I manage my family and I have been using Matt and Tim for well over 15 years. I learned my lesson quickly in the world of property management that when you go for the cheaper service, you get what you pay for. Plumbing Solutions are efficient with both our time and money. They typically swing by the property, take a peek, give a quote, and stick to it. They truly earn the 5 star rating. read more

Super fast. After getting a few quotes they were the cheapest and was the very first response I got back. Came out days later and fixed my hot water heater. I've used Plumbing Solutions twice and both jobs couldn't have gone any better. Artie fixed a leak from the upstairs shower that at least three other plumbers failed to fix. He worked on that job for three hours and it was not an easy repair, but he persevered and was successful! The second job was a simple replacement of the washing machine shut-off valve and again, a good, reliable repair and at a fair price. I would also like to highlight what a nice guy Artie is and what a pleasure it was to have him in our home. Just a real nice fellow and an extremely hard worker. Plumbing Solutions is now my go-to call for any plumbing issues! I highly recommend them. read more
