Andy is great to work with, came same day, straight shooter and very honest. Will definitely be using his service again in the future. Learned a lot just by watching him work, diagnose the issue and talking to him. He helped clear my main pipes, punch through roots that was causing clog in my basement utlity sink read more

I called Andy the owner at the referral of my plumber Baker Elman. He showed up promptly and recommended hydro jetting for my clogged basement bathroom and main line. I didn't order the work on the spot. In the afternoon when the other company Roto-Rooter failed to snake it through, I called Andy again and he sent Nelson over right away. Nelson did an excellent job jetting the main line and warned me about future use (all my fault with the kitchen grease). After I got over the initial price shock, this company is a dream. Prompt, professional, no-BS, efficient, and easy to communicate with. Five stars to Nelson and Andy and Drain Stars. read more

Andy is quick to response and the job was done promptly with great follow-up by Nelson. Would recommend!

Very happy with the service I received from Andy and Nelson . They got my new a/c system installed very quick before major heat wave . My wife and I are thankful for that . The price was fair and the level of professionalism was 5 stars . Thanks guys! read more

Andy Montiero-Drain Stars was kind, courteous & was able to unclog a serious drain problem in our kitchen. He had to snake about 100 feet.. Thank you. D. Wilson read more

I had a failing pump that was allowing basement sewage to back up. The team came within 40 minutes of my call and quickly diagnose the problem and had everything fixed within the hour. They were quite honest and gave me the option of keeping things as it was now that they got it working or having them check everything out I elected to have them check everything out and they were fast and efficient and did not try to upsell me on any items I would recommend them highly and if I had to, I would use them again in a minute. The price for emergency service was quite reasonable read more

Excellent! Exceptional adept at dealing appropriately with a senior! They were readily accessible and arrived quickly. The issue was assessed and my options were given to me with cost before the work began. The problem was fixed and paid for. They have several payment options. Couldn't have been better! read more

My family's drain was not working for three days. We found Drain Stars and thank God we did! Our phone call was picked up right away and we received service the same day. Andy Monterio was outstanding. He came out right away. Extremely professional with both my mother and myself. Knew what the cause was right away. Spent almost the full day making sure we had the correct disposal and left the kitchen area spotless when he left. Outstanding pricing as well. Highly recommend this fantastic business. read more

overall a great experience working with Drain Stars. Their employees are friendly, responsive and knowledgeable. Will definitely call them again! read more

Andy showed up this afternoon and did an amazing and fast job cleaning out the sewer drain to the street! His extreme high pressure jet was able to clear out what the weekend other Roto provider missed. I had an emergency drain service on the weekend from another provider. Should not have done that. Andy and his team were fast and professional, and price was very reasonable- about half of what the other guys charged to not even get the job done. Call him first. (He works with Trethewy Bros for other full service plumbing needs too!). read more

Drain Stars came out immediately and fixed our clogged drain. Incredibly responsive and efficient. Drain works great now.

We are a commercial business and we called for their service where they did couple of bath tub drains and couple of clogging issue with toilets, and the finished the job in less than 3 hours, upon request we asked for the copy of the video and they refused, so I am not even sure if they took a video and the tub is still draining slow immediately after they left and toilets still clogging and they charged me $1200.00, day light robbery! read more

Andy and Andrew were extraordinary. They came out in 40 minutes on Easter when we had some urgent problems with a backed up sewer. They resolved the issue of root balls in the pipes quickly with the water jet and identified some additional problems that we're not as immediate, which they proposed a thoughtful plan around. I could not recommend Drain Stars highly enough. read more

We had a clogged kitchen sink, and we tried plunging, snaking, drano, and gave up after water started coming out of the dishwasher while plumbing. I contacted some plumbers on Yelp and he was the first to respond with a reasonable offer. He was very clean and professional, arrived very quickly and unclogged our drain in no time, even though it was after working hours. He also seemed very knowledgeable, will definitely consider this company for future projects. read more

I had a backup in the main drain. Drain Stars came out, charged $1200.00 to put a camera in the line and flushed the line. 5 weeks later the same thing happened. They came out again, charged me $1000.00 to put camera in line and flushed the line. I asked for a quote to fix the problem and a copy of the video. Weeks went by with multiple requests for a quote and the video. Today, my dad called and after a few minutes of arguing with the defensive owner, the video was sent. Drain Stars does not deserve 1 star but I was unable to post this review without selecting at least 1 star. read more

Just after buying our first home we thought it was a good idea to scope the sewer line. We were recommended to "Drain Stars" from another company that was doing work on our home. Andy was fantastic. We did not expect same day service, but he got us in. The previous owner of our home had some bizarre modifications done that made this job more difficult, but Andy was not phased. As soon as Andy got in he could tell the previous owners had problems and prior visits from plumbers. Andy was informative and honest. Then we hit the clog. It was not looking good. It would require more time and another visit but Andy was still able to make it happen same day and fixed it! Drain Stars showed up and took care of us and we will be customers for life because of it. If you need drain work done, have Drain Stars do it, they stand behind the work they do. read more

Great service and friendly guy. Did everything needed for a great price. Definitely will call again for all my plumbing needs

Hi my name is Anthony, I had a gentleman come in to snake my drain system he worked four to six hours and said the problem was to big for him to fix he gave me the number of Drain Stars so I called them. they came with in a 1/2 hour I told him what was wrong and he new exactly what to do. This gentleman was named Andy and he was the owner of the company. He quoted me a price and said how long it should take approximately. He was very knowledgeable. I am a home owner for 38 year. My private way is 350 ft long. I'm a Service technician in the commercial industry. I was very impressed with Andy. He cleaned all the lines in my private way and showed me with a camera after he cleaned the lines he showed me there was no damage in the pipe line. Any did everything he said and more. I did not know if I should have this done on a maintenance contract Andy said no need to. Andy was very honorable gentleman. I would recommen his Company to family and friends very highly. Very professional and very Knowable. My drain system is working awesome. Thank you Andy. Best regards Anthony read more

Andy from Drain Stars was referred to me by another plumber (whom I had used previously but was out of town). The service we got from Andy and Drain Stars was outstanding and impeccable. Andy answered my call and came that same day. We had 6 inches of water in our basement for the first time in 23 years and we wanted to figure out if there was a pipe issue. Upfront, Andy was clear about the costs on the phone call and what each of his services would cost. One arrival he was polite, personable, and very knowledgeable. He diagnosed that the problem was with the backwater valve. The door had rusted allowing water to run back. He also used a camera to show that the pipe was intact all the way to the street. He returned the next day to fix the back water valve issue in a very timely manner. He also diagnosed and corrected a basement toilet issue which could have been a very expensive issue. Andy is a true professional through-an- through and is a quintessential service man. His work is under warranty. I am saying this in the best way possible.... I hope that I won't need his services again (i.e., another pipe problem resulting in a basement full of water!) but if I do, Andy and Drain Stars is whom I would call upon again. I highly recommend Andy and Drain Stars without reservation. read more

Sunday morning, toilet wouldn't flush. The water is to the top. Plunging, no. Coat hanger, no. I call Drain Stars and they're there fixing the problem within an hour. Kind. Professional. He gave the toilet a few extra snakes to make sure, and life can get back to normal. I would call them again anytime for emergencies, and for master plumbing jobs. read more

EXCELLENT service. Andy quoted me a price that was $500 less than another company quoted me the day before and stuck to the price even though they were here for hours. They were knowledgeable and professional. Would use them again and would recommend them to anyone. Fast response time for a quote and came out same day only a couple hours later. read more

This company was wonderful to deal with recently when my husband and I had an unexpected plumbing issue just when our home was filled with children and grandchildren joining us for the holidays. Andy came to us, owner of Drain Stars- he was the 3rd plumber to try to fix our plumbing issue- clogged main drain of the home we just had moved in to. Finally- Andy was able to get us back up and running!f He came as a recommendation - it was said that if anyone is going to get our drain running again it woud be Andy. As soon as he arrived he went right to work and worked feverishly to get the drain unclogged with his hydrojet- and he did it! I would definitely recommend him to anyone having issues with a backed up drain. Not only did he get the job done, but he was very personable and friendly and easy to work with . I called Drain stars on a whim after a job from a previous company was done incorrectly(And for nearly triple the price). Drain stars came out and took a look at my main line and they were very nice and courteous, and were happy to show me how my pipes looked before and after the job was done! Very satisfied and they charged me a fair price and they did the job correctly! Will definitely be using them again if I ever need to. read more
