I hired Eddie to install an external spigot for the yard and then hired him again to fix a toilet where he recommended to install a new toilet. I ordered a new toilet from Home Depot but it was defective. Eddie replaced it with a properly working one. The new one had a leak so he came back again and fixed that. I choose 'Drain and heating solutions' to replace my leaking garbage disposal after reading the many positive reviews about this company on yelp and getting the most reasonable quote to also adhere my sink brackets, back into the granite after they fell. Eddie, and his helper were very punctual, resourceful and even saved me the time and effort of buying a new garbage disposal as Eddie brought with him a new one (which I reimbursed him for) which cost the same as on Amazon. Eddie stayed with his worker the who time and supervised his work as the worker also recalked around my sink to seal it after installing the new garbage disposal and reinstalling the under sink brackets. My kitchen was left clean and stain\ dents\ damage free when they were done. Eddie was kind, friendly, knowledgeable and a great communicator before arriving to work on the garbage disposal and the sink as well as attentive to my concerns. I recommend Eddie the plumber very highly. He came to our house to clean two drains. He realized that one drain was not done right (the kitchen compactor drain piipe was too high for the disposal) so he was abe to squeeze us in several days later on a national holiday to basically redo the whole kitchen sink plumbing for a reasonable price. The basement plumbing had issues - he brought the plumbing up to code and gave us options on how best to deal with the leaking sink. He didn't try to sell us the most expensive option - he gave us options, the pros/cons of each option and let us choose. This is a wonderful service! Eddy is incredibly knowledgeable, very considerate and simply nice. I called him for a clogged sink. I was able to get an appointment within the first 3 hours. He was running late for for our appointment, and he notified me of this in advance (Honestly in my past experience I didn't see this trait in contractors, and I think this behavior matters a lot!) He spent 1.5 hours at my house. He tried clearing the clog, he went pretty extensively at his investigation, explaining how he was thinking about it. In the end, the conclusion was that I needed to cut a pipe, which is of course extra cost. I agreed to it. Before cutting the pipe, he continued looking, and then remembered about another tool that he unfortunately didn't have; however, using this tool is a better choice in my situation. He referred me to a different plumber, and didn't charge me anything. On top of that I know a lot more about plumbing now. Also, Eddy took time to really clean up after the messes the investigation caused. Overall, even though my sink problem is not fixed, I really appreciate the service I was provided. I've had an intermittent leaky toilet for a couple years now. It would randomly have a small pool of water around the base for a few weeks, & we'd mop it up ... sometimes it would go away on it's own. But it always came back - maybe a month later, maybe a week or two later....Last Sept it stayed longer than most, so I yelped plumbers in my area (Andover) I got several quick emails. Several hinted at a very 'expensive' fix but they'd need to see it first, others threw out estimates in the $250 to $500 range - but could be more. Eddie estimated roughly $150 and said he could do it that day. I went with Eddie. He came out, spent a couple hours on it - he suspected a couple minor issues - and replaced a couple parts adjusted a couple things and the problem has NEVER returned. Explained everything in layman's terms too. Cleaned up and left the bathroom spotless - it's been several months and it's never pooled again. FIXED! HIGHLY recommend. He is a true professional who understands that everybody wins when he does a good job at a fair price. I've used 2 other plumbers in the past who were HORRENDOUS. One (Milltown) charged about $800 to stop a shower drip (that came back within a year) and tighten the hot water knob - the other (Shawn) abruptly cancelled the appointment - before ever coming out to give me an estimate - when I told him I would not let him rip out the existing water heater - STILL under warranty - so he could replace it with a MUCH more expensive unit. He claimed he 'diagnosed' the problem when I gave him the make and model number....he said mine was a "piece of sh*t" and if he couldn't replace it (it would cost thousands) he wasn't coming out...never even looked at it! (I called Rannai a week later who had me flip a switch on a switch bank inside the unit, drop the water temp down 5-degrees and the intermittent problem went away). "Shawn" had something like 31 5-star reviews - many out of state (??? - must have friends and relatives there). I have no doubt most, if not all, are bogus... Don't get ripped off - called Eddie. Good job at a fair price. He's not looking to screw people - which is more than I can say for some others. read more

I heired them for disconnecting a old gas dryer and re connecting a new gas dryer. I was quoted a price of $185 which was about $90 cheaper then other places. Most places I called quoted me $250-$300. I was able to get an appoinment within 1 week of calling them. He did come late due to a mistake with my address, however he did give me a discount and apologized multiple times. He emphisized that quality service and making their customers happy is their goal.
