i had low pressure to the main floor of my house, one faucet reached a trickle. i researched inline but caved to a service call eddie sent me a message that he could come out the next afternoon. what kind of bad luck do i have that causes the water line to the fridge ice maker to split.later THAT night? of all the nights?? after cleaning up and shutting the main water off when the valves feeding the line wouldn't close, i messaged the company about the new emergency and asked if they could come look at it. eddie called first thing thein morning to say he could still come out, and i never felt so relieved. he came out promptly at the agreed appointment time and assessed the water line, devised a plan based on my needs, and THEN he looked at the original faucet issue (the main water supply is off, mind you!) and he to give an assessment and plan for that,, too. The visit was not even an hour. i did not feel like he rushed at all! and i learned so many things from the visit. value is off the charts. priceless. and! he's a super genuine and nice person, and just listening to him, he's so knowledgeable. i look forward to engaging Drain & Heating Solutions for future projects. read more

I cannot recommend Eddie and D&H Solutions. When I first called Eddie on Wednesday morning he was super apologetic that he couldn't come over to my house right away, and wouldn't be able to get there till "at least 5 PM," which was totally fine since I was at work. Eddie came to my house, and was not able to solve my stuck drain due to it being more complicated than I initially thought, and we scheduled him to come over on Saturday. Eddie came over on Saturday morning at 830 AM, and got right to work. He was very communicative with everything he was doing, and made sure to keep me posted about any changes of plans and extra things he had to do. Even though the job itself got much bigger than either of us expected, Eddie stuck to his initial estimate (actually, his initial estimate on Wed night he mis-quoted me $300 more, and he called me right after he left to give me the actual price). Eddie is a plumber, who as he says "hates to lose" and will do anything and everything to make sure that when he leaves the customer is happy. As a new homeowner finding a plumber you can trust is huge, and I definitely plan on going to Eddie with any future needs. read more

He was absolutely wonderful and went above and beyond the call of duty--even acting as a therapist at times throughout the process of helping me get back my engagement ring after I dropped it down the drain. I was a wreck, and he could not have been more professional and kind throughout the entire process. After requesting an estimate, Eddie responded in just a couple of minutes and was at my house within an hour of calling him (postponing a meeting he was scheduled to attend to come as soon as possible). He was courteous and fair. We rent our apartment now but would hire him IN A SECOND after we buy our first home. Absolutely outstanding. Eddie has helped us multiple times. He's both professional and friendly, and has gone above and beyond the call of duty, once even staying till late night to install a much needed bathroom sink. He's not only reliable, and has very affordable prices compared to other companies, but he's also trustworthy. He saved us a lot because the big expensive job that two other plumbers told us needed to be done, actually wasn't necessary. He replaced only what was necessary, and that was a fraction of the cost (plus told us that what the plumbers quoted was really excessive). I called because the kitchen sink was backing up even with the disposal. Scheduled a visit at that time and Eddie arrived promptly at that time. After checking upstairs he went downstairs to check the pipes. After inspecting that he gave a very acceptable estimate. He removed the water from the sink and then drained the pipe upstairs. Ran the snake through and removed the clog buildup. Within an hour back to normal other than may need to replace disposal or stop using it. Very nice, professional, and kept his mask on with proper social distancing. Gave some advice on how to avoid issues for the future. He cleaned up and was on his way within an hour. read more

I had a pipe leaking in my basement that turned out to be a bigger problem than we originally thought. I called Drain and Heating Solutions and they were able to come out the same day. Eddie gave me a time frame that he would be out and he showed up right on time. I wasn't able to be there in person so I had someone else meet him, but he was sure to keep me in the loop throughout the whole process. He ended up needing to call the City to come out and he waited the whole time and made sure he was there to see the job through completely. We had a great experience with Eddie. We had a clogged sewer line on a Saturday. Eddie called back within the hour and came that afternoon. He quoted a very fair price and he stuck with it even though the job turned out to be really tough -- lots of tree roots in the sewer line. He also seemed to treat the job as a personal challenge. We're glad he did, because if he hadn't managed to clear the line from inside, we probably would have had to have the pipes in our yard excavated (and maybe live in a hotel until it was done). read more

Eddie came out a few weeks ago to unclog my kitchen sink. It was a much more difficult job than I ever expected. He was AMAZING! He ended up having to cut a pipe in order to get too where the drain was and did not charge me too replace it. He is the most honest, reliable and trustworthy person I have ever hired.
