Haven't been here for years. Always liked their pizza. Not sure why I punish myself. Order at 5:00 told pick up in a half hour. My dad was passing there on his way over right at 5:30. Sweet perfect timing! NOPE 35 minutes after he arrived (when the order was supposed to be ready) no food. 6:10 (40 minutes late) they give my dad the order and let him know they only made half my wing order. Don't worry we will credit him for the other half. Pops asks for a receipt and that was a no go either. JOKE. FOOL ME ONCE...

Our Famous Deluxe Pizza - small 6 slices $13.95 Think personal size pizza! Small but mighty!! Anchovies not added.

As most people are safe at home during quarantine and carry out is our only option to eat out, I decided to help support local by ordering from Rosa's Pizza. I have always driven past their little plaza, but have not had the chance to try it until recently! I ordered regular garlic parmesan wings, regular Italian salad, and a small deluxe pizza. The garlic parmesan wings were amazing and fell right off the bone. It was so moist and flavorful, I was so happy I ordered them! They were even topped with a sprinkle of parmesan cheese! The salad was full of delicious ingredients such as tomato, cucumber, black olives, mushrooms, and mounds of cheese!! So fresh and even still fresh on day 2. When ordering the deluxe pizza, the lovely lady on the phone asked if I wanted the anchovies which came with it. I was glad she asked me that question because I honestly forgot it came with it. For someone who is not a big fan of anchovies, I opted out for it. The small deluxe pizza was on the pricer side for the size of the pizza, but it was delicious!! Think personal pizza size, 6 slices! Rosa's Pizza does not call it their Famous Deluxe Pizza for no reason! Each slice was full of even distribution of sauce and dough along with toppings, such as Pepperoni, Homemade Sausage, Mushrooms, Green Peppers, Onions, and Olives. Great pizza if you haven't tried! Lastly, let me tell you how grateful the employees were that I was supporting their small business during these hard times. What's a better way to support local businesses and eat some fantastic food!!

While the food is always delicious - they need to provide more realistic wait times. I don't mind a longer wait - but just be honest.

We went to the bar though a few weeks ago and enjoyed it, during the bar visit we had a good chat with the bartender and he recommended trying the steak panini. I decided to give it a try to go this nite- got the double meat and fries- it was like $14. Pretty good deal for what I got. I would have preferred some real mozz or provolone melted on the sandwich more then the spread they used, but in general I was pleased and woudl probably go back and try it again (but ask for melted provolone or mozz on it) or try a different panini.

The picture showed these huge portobello, mushrooms and loads of pepperoni and of course, the hard baked crust around the edges, which is what makes the Detroit style so good. When we got at home and opened the box instead of big portobello mushrooms are with these little shreds of I guess burnt portobello mushrooms and just a few pieces of pepperoni but the most disappointing part was the crust. It was soggy and tasteless. It was absolutely the worst Detroit style pizza I ever had. I realize anybody can have a bad day so I did contact them via Customer Service site on their website and wrote about my experience. I never heard anything back from them. I've been going to Antonio's for years going all the way back to the original Antonio's in Parma however, I don't think I would go there anymore. It's almost like they don't care.

We ordered spanakopita, roasted red pepper hummus, a small salad, a lamb and beef gyro, a blackened salmon gyro, and baklava. Our total came to roughly $60-$70 and it took about 15-20 minutes to get everything ready. We sat on the patio while we waited and one of the employees was nice enough to bring our order out to us. For starters, the hummus was amazing. I didn't expect there to be such a kick, but it was phenomenal. The pita was delicious and the veggies were the freshest set I've had in a very long time. This includes the veggies I find at the store. It took me about 3-5 days to finish the hummus and the pita and veggies were just as fresh. I loved the beef and lamb gyro, it was the best one I've ever had! Andrew on the other hand was less impressed with his salmon gyro, but he's extremely picky when it comes to salmon. He tried my gyro and said he will definitely be ordering that next time we stop by. I tried so hard not to finish the baklava in one sitting, but it was SO good. This is one of the best restaurants we've tried in the past 3 years and I'm disappointed we don't live closer. We will have to make this a monthly trip

About 10 mins after we sat I asked her for ice b/c my wife burned 2 fingers as a pizza buffet tray collapsed & she tried to save it by grabbing corner thus burning em. Then she brought us ice water. Didn't say anything about the pizza mess or burn. Had to reuse our plates!! Never was brought new plates & none are stationed up there. Pretty sure that's a health violation. We requested a pizza with mushrooms and she said she would try to get one out. We went up to see if they had showed up after 10 minutes and luckily we got the last few slices of the pizza we requested since she never informed us it was up there. Our 1st trip up there - only 2 pizzas. Later up to 4 pizzas were laid out. Some of the crusts were a bit burnt & the ranch was way watery. The salads were pretty nice - full plate of lettuce with tomatoes, cucumbers, and cheese. The chicken nugs were decent (plain, bbq, buffalo). The bread sticks were good. Pizza was ok... cheese was good but others were dried out so the sauce up there was helpful. I wish they had parm cheese at tables. The buffet was kinda a mess & the plastic hood was hard to see thru so u had to squat to see the types of pizzas. At least the price was appropriate at $10. 2.5 stars rounded up due to $.

Let me tell you first of all I walk in to this little mom and pop pizza shop and was immediately greeted at the counter, asking me if I had an order in or would like to place one. Since I did not call it in, I placed my order and told them that I wanted a little heavy on the sauce with my usual pepperoni and sausage, which is my go to when I first try a new pizza place. The staff was very friendly and the guy in the front and I struck up some nice conversation regarding hometown pizza places and diners between here and where I live in the Hamilton/Fairfield area. He asked me how he liked my pizza and I told him a little bit on the darker side and it came out perfect. Super nice people and a very clean interior of the building. It is not dine in so you'll have to carry out. As I left, I cracked the box in my car to let the pizza cool a little and could just smell the flavor coming out of there. Since I am traveling on the road for sales, I did not have a hotel booked yet being lunchtime so I pulled over in a county park and had my lunch. This could be possibly the best Italian sausage I have ever had on a pizza anywhere. If you'd like sausage on your pizza, don't skip it. I am going to give it a nine out of 10, which is really high for me and I will surely be back time after time when traveling through here. Well done!

(One complaint was the wood fired pizza. It's just not there. First, it's not New York Style. It's an attempt New Haven style, or more simply, Neapolitan. It wasn't bad, but something just wasn't there.). As far as the location, the outdoor patio is great. Unfortunately, we were seated at high tables which is all they have inside. You really have to have a mix of seating. The service was good. The ordering is self serve and the staff helps. The problem is, it's on a system that restaurant servers would use to place orders, so it's not very user friendly. They really should invest on a customer-facing ordering software that's more intuitive. Another thing about the service is that, even if they don't have actual servers, they really could have some of the staff just mill about and check on tables to make sure everything was ok. Last, the Brew Wall: AMAZING! Love sampling the beers, and easy to use. Would go back just for that, which is kinda the point.

They finally asked if we had been here before and the 2 kids I had with me had but I stated I hadn't. They asked if we would be having separate tabs or all together and I let them know that the kids would not be drinking as well as I wouldn't and it would be all together. They then stated seat yourself, allowed us to pick the table, brought us menus... and no other instructions. Unsure of how to order or what to do we finally got up and asked the single gentleman who was walking the dining room and looking friendly. We finally figured out how to order (you walk up and order). We got a Stromboli, perogies, mozzarella sticks, garlic knots, and a burger. Everything came out not at a time within about 15 mins except the burger took an additional 10 with no communication on things. A girl (Jillian) came by when we were nearly done and had a couple plates stacked and asked if we needed anything, I said boxes in a bit but the plates could be taken. She glared with a look of "you want ME to take this" and then took them. Overall not very welcoming except for the long gentleman helping everyone. The 5 girls at the host stand didn't seem to care about anyone except their selves. It wasn't too busy when we got here and not loud. As someone who has worked in restaurants with bars you could see the frustration on guests trying to pour beer (self serve) with no clue how and very little assistance offered. Lots of foamy drinks. Would also be great to not have a whole onion with the perogies
