As most people are safe at home during quarantine and carry out is our only option to eat out, I decided to help support local by ordering from Rosa's Pizza. I have always driven past their little plaza, but have not had the chance to try it until recently! I ordered regular garlic parmesan wings, regular Italian salad, and a small deluxe pizza. The garlic parmesan wings were amazing and fell right off the bone. It was so moist and flavorful, I was so happy I ordered them! They were even topped with a sprinkle of parmesan cheese! The salad was full of delicious ingredients such as tomato, cucumber, black olives, mushrooms, and mounds of cheese!! So fresh and even still fresh on day 2. When ordering the deluxe pizza, the lovely lady on the phone asked if I wanted the anchovies which came with it. I was glad she asked me that question because I honestly forgot it came with it. For someone who is not a big fan of anchovies, I opted out for it. The small deluxe pizza was on the pricer side for the size of the pizza, but it was delicious!! Think personal pizza size, 6 slices! Rosa's Pizza does not call it their Famous Deluxe Pizza for no reason! Each slice was full of even distribution of sauce and dough along with toppings, such as Pepperoni, Homemade Sausage, Mushrooms, Green Peppers, Onions, and Olives. Great pizza if you haven't tried! Lastly, let me tell you how grateful the employees were that I was supporting their small business during these hard times. Their online menu has TOTALLY wrong prices and all they tell you when you call is "uh oh sorry our menu says prices are subject to change." Well NO it doesn't and you should honor the prices on your website. There's A LOT of other pizza shops out there so you don't need to deal with the treatment you receive from Rosa's. read more

Ordered pizza from here on Friday night. They were really busy, but the pizza was good as always. There was a coupon for 2 large 1 topping pizzas for $18. We did 1 pepperoni (my fav) and 1 sausage. We also did a order of the garlic bread with cheese. We don't order from them often, but have ordered in the past and have also gotten their wings which are really good. It's one of our favorite local pizza places! read more

Fantastic local spot for some delicious homemade pizza. I grew up just down the road so we would get pizza from here all the time growing up. Haven't had it in a while but recently ordered their New York white pizza and a veggie pizza. Both were absolutely delicious. Went back yesterday and ordered a small pickle pizza just to try cuz who even has pickles as a topping option?! It was so good. Honestly they could put anything on their pizza and I would try it. Also- its super authentic. I had to wait 10 min or so the other day and i was so intrigued by their Italian conversations. Im in love with this place and its super homey vibes. read more

Absolutely delicious! We got a small deluxe and a small pepperoni. Both were amazing and everything was ready for pickup in 30 minutes on a Saturday night. The staff was very friendly and gave us many napkins since we were staying in a hotel. I'm not exaggerating that this is quite possibly the best pizza I've ever had! I ordered a medium pizza with black olives and mushrooms. It's what I always order. It was extremely greasy. Considering there's no meat on it, I'm wondering why. I ate it, but in all honesty my stomach was really unhappy. I also ordered a salad. That was tasty. Delivery took about an hour and I'm about three miles away. Sadly, I won't try again. I'm always on the lookout for local businesses to support but this one fell short. read more

I've probably driven past this restaurant 100 times and never seen it. It's located in a little strip off of an awkward fork in the road. We decided to give it a try. The people who run the business are very nice and I really enjoy supporting local family businesses. The pizza was good. I enjoyed the sauce, and the crust was the way I like it. I normally don't eat pizza crusts, I ate this crust. I felt the ingredients were of good quality. We got an order of the cheesy bread, and wings. Both of those were good also. If you're craving a good buffalo wing, I'd say you could get your fix here. Ranch and bleu cheese is an extra $.50 each. Just letting everyone know so they aren't surprised, pizza sizes are a little bit smaller here than at chain restaurants in the area. Rosa's large is more like a Medium. Which was fine for me, because we never eat a full large anyway. But if you usually need a large, size up to an XL here. read more

We were very excited to try Rosa's after reading all these great reviews. We placed a large order because we just couldn't decide, it all looked so good. 2 pizzas, wings, meatballs and a lasagna dinner. Unfortunately I never received the meatballs so not sure if they are any good or not. Lasagna was good, better than average but swimming in sauce. It looked like a bowl of soup and the sauce spilled across our countertop and floor while opening it. Pizzas were so plain, we each had 1 peice and decided it just isnt good enough to go back for another slice. Wings were ok. They are baked so even when you request well done they still have a soft exterior. read more

If I could give more stars I would. Our family has been enjoying Rosa's pizza for almost 30 years. Hands down some of the best homemade food. Always made with fresh ingredients. The pizza is fresh authentic Italian pizza, made by authentic Italian people, who know how to make real food! Over the years our family has probably ordered more than 100 pizzas from Rosa's. Today we ordered in and I felt compelled to write this review. Our food was so delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed every last bite of it! The chicken parm dinner was just awesome. Perfectly cooked, good amount of melted cheese, swimming in sauce. For an extra buck you can add spaghetti ( why wouldn't you?) it's a huge portion. It comes with a fresh homemade salad ( real crisp lettuce) not some bagged wilted lettuce. Again, very large portion. Let's not forget the homemade, warm, pre buttered roll wrapped so nicely in foil. OMG so good! Also got the lasagna - one word - "heaven"- perfectly cooked noodle, lots of cheese, swimming in sauce. For an extra buck you can add 2 meatballs. No brainer! Let me tell you, nobody and I mean nobody makes a meatball like Rosa's, period! If you haven't tried them then you're really missing out! I have ordered them in the past 25 or 50 at a time and froze them. The lasagna dinner also comes with a large fresh salad and delicious roll. If your ever in the area definitely give them a try. Place Has Gone Downhill I have been ordering from Rosa's since I moved here, over 20 years now. For the past couple of years I have noticed the quality of the service, and to some extent the quality of the food, has deteriorated. Today was the final straw. Placed an order and was told it would be ready in 25 minutes. From past experience I know that they almost never have things ready in 25 minutes. So I arrived 30 minutes after placing my order. When I arrived there were 2 customers waiting for their orders. It took the lady making the pizzas almost 2 minutes to even acknowledge my arrival. Then all she said was that someone would be with me 'shortly'. For the next 8 minutes I watched several employees scurrying around as though they had lost their way. And no one came to the front counter during this period. Finally a young man came to the counter and asked the other two customers what their orders were and then he asked me. He said they were really slammed and there was no apparent reason. Never apologized. Then he left. I waited almost 20 minutes for my order after I arrived. So this was 45 minutes from the time I had placed the order even though I was told it would be 'about' 25 minutes. If they were behind, why would they promise a 25 minute turnaround when they knew they were behind. And to make matters worse, it appeared only one lady was making pizzas. To top it off, the food wasn't particularly good. So after 20+ years I am sad to say that I have crossed Rosa's off my list of places that I will order from in the future. Some things improve with time. This place isn't one of those. read more

Best Pizza in Ohio period. Homemade sauce is the difference. An old Italian woman makes it, so it doesn't get more authentic. It's a medium crust pizza. In between NY and Chicago style, I call it Cleveland style. I have eaten pizza from over 100 restaurants. Hands down this is the best pizza. Tip: order it we'll done but not burnt. read more

First off GO BLUE!!!!! In town for work and was hoping to find some good pizza. Well I was disappointed. Pizza was overpriced. I order a large and my pizza looked like a medium. $17.95 for a large (medium) pizza. Wow! I asked for flavored crust and they don't do that. I asked for breadsticks and the lady said we just have rolls and garlic bread. Lol. Maybe flavored crust and breadsticks is a Michigan only thing. Lady working register was rude and short with me. Believe she was manager or owner. I would've been happier with Pizza Hut. Especially for the money I spent there. So thumbs down Rosa's. read more

This is my second time ordering from Rosa's. First time, I just wanted to try the pizza. I arrived and was greeted by a very nice gentleman. It was hot and delicious. My only issue was the sizes, definitely not the traditional sizes I see, for example a small is more of a personal pizza. Considering it was just me, it didn't bother me much. Today, I really wanted a calzone, and no franchise in my eyes makes a very good one. So I found myself at Rosa's again. Wow what a menu! I ordered it with cheese, pepperoni, sausage and banana peppers. I arrived, was greeted again by a kind woman (maybe Rosa?!) and gentleman. Order was hot and good to go. I got home and cut it in half, it smelled heavenly and the inside stuffed with toppings. First couple bites, hot and exactly what I hoped for. This is how a calzone is done! Then I tried it with the sauce, made it even better! All the toppings had excellent flavor and the marinara sauce had a very homemade taste. It was definitely worth the $9.00. If you order this, I recommend getting the larger marinara. I will be trying more of the menu in coming weeks. I will happily recommend Rosa's to friends and neighbors. Decided to try this place after discovering on accident earlier in the morning (meant to keep going on Broadview, but instead turned onto Avery). This was a solid pie. Ordered a large pepperoni, cheese bread, and hot wings. My only thing is I should have ordered extra sauce as it was a little lacking. Will definitely go back as the food was good, and the ladies working were super nice. read more

We are visiting the area from out of state and decided to give this small place a try. We are very pleased with the pizza. You can tell it is made with love because it is nothing like a commercialized pizza place. The crust is slightly crunchy on the outside and light and fluffy on the inside. Ordered sheet pizza for my kids bday party. Price reasonable and accommodated my request to have half pepperoni/half sausage and half cheese. Lady who took my call had an Italian accent and was very friendly and patient as I shouted over my kids to give the order and gain consensus. So far so good. We got some takeout here earlier this week. We had chicken parmigiana, spaghetti and meatballs, stuffed pepper parmigiana, white spaghetti, meatball sandwich, and a cheese pizza. I LOVED the sauce and meatballs. One of the best tasting sauces I've ever had at a restaurant, and the meatballs were as close to my grandma's (perfection, to me) as I've ever had in a restaurant too. The stuffed peppers were delicious, as well as the Italian salad dressing. I think that most of the food was a good value too, especially the featured spaghetti and meatball special. It was a ton of food for $5.95. Adding spaghetti for $1 to the dinner entrees seems well worth the price too. The one thing I didn't care for was the pizza. The sauce wasn't very good, and it was really greasy. And wayyyy too much cheese. It was this thick leathery slab of cheese, and you couldn't take one bite without the whole thing coming off bc you just couldn't even bite through it. Yuck. read more

Ordered at this place for the first time on Mother's Day with about 6 people to feed. I've never needed more than 2 large Papa Johns to feed the same people. Pizza was ok, but the 2 large pizzas I got were the size of mediums . Had to order at Gioninos which is a little bit farther away, but same quality, same price, and bigger pizzas. My family had to wait an extra 30 mins for food. read more

I've driven by this place so many times and never stopped. Part of the reason is because I work out and stopping to get pizza on the way home is MAYBE not a good idea.... So that's why I ordered a chicken sandwich. No, I didn't order the pizza....didn't you see the work-out reference earlier? Anyway, it was a frozen chicken patty on an italian roll. It was okay. I don't believe they put on any sauce (no mayo/mustard/etc) so it was pretty bland. Also, did I mention it was previously frozen? It's not hard to tell... So in short. Eh. We went to the bar though a few weeks ago and enjoyed it, during the bar visit we had a good chat with the bartender and he recommended trying the steak panini. I decided to give it a try to go this nite- got the double meat and fries- it was like $14. Pretty good deal for what I got. I would have preferred some real mozz or provolone melted on the sandwich more then the spread they used, but in general I was pleased and woudl probably go back and try it again (but ask for melted provolone or mozz on it) or try a different panini.

When we got at home and opened the box instead of big portobello mushrooms are with these little shreds of I guess burnt portobello mushrooms and just a few pieces of pepperoni but the most disappointing part was the crust. It was soggy and tasteless. It was absolutely the worst Detroit style pizza I ever had. I realize anybody can have a bad day so I did contact them via Customer Service site on their website and wrote about my experience. I never heard anything back from them. I've been going to Antonio's for years going all the way back to the original Antonio's in Parma however, I don't think I would go there anymore. It's almost like they don't care.

For starters, the hummus was amazing. I didn't expect there to be such a kick, but it was phenomenal. The pita was delicious and the veggies were the freshest set I've had in a very long time. This includes the veggies I find at the store. It took me about 3-5 days to finish the hummus and the pita and veggies were just as fresh. I loved the beef and lamb gyro, it was the best one I've ever had! Andrew on the other hand was less impressed with his salmon gyro, but he's extremely picky when it comes to salmon. He tried my gyro and said he will definitely be ordering that next time we stop by. I tried so hard not to finish the baklava in one sitting, but it was SO good. This is one of the best restaurants we've tried in the past 3 years and I'm disappointed we don't live closer. We will have to make this a monthly trip

The staff was very friendly and the guy in the front and I struck up some nice conversation regarding hometown pizza places and diners between here and where I live in the Hamilton/Fairfield area. He asked me how he liked my pizza and I told him a little bit on the darker side and it came out perfect. Super nice people and a very clean interior of the building. It is not dine in so you'll have to carry out. As I left, I cracked the box in my car to let the pizza cool a little and could just smell the flavor coming out of there. Since I am traveling on the road for sales, I did not have a hotel booked yet being lunchtime so I pulled over in a county park and had my lunch. This could be possibly the best Italian sausage I have ever had on a pizza anywhere. If you'd like sausage on your pizza, don't skip it. I am going to give it a nine out of 10, which is really high for me and I will surely be back time after time when traveling through here. Well done!

Also, waitress was rather snippy. She seemed like she did not want to be there. This was not the first time I had been there, other times food was good.
