I absolutely love Rosas Kitchen! I've been visiting their food trucks for two years now, and the quality of their food and service hasn't changed since they opened! Since, my last review they did move locations and are now located across from Dos Sirenos and next to Leche de Tigre. Their new location still has plenty of parking and it is very easy to access. I love getting food from them on Mondays when most other local restaurants are closed. My go-to is their taquito plate from asada or al pastor. Both choices are absolutely delicious and one plate is enough the keep you full for the rest of the day. I also love that they have different aguas frescas that they keep rotating on their menu. Last but not least, the staff is always amazing and super friendly. Definitely give this women-owned and latinx-owned food truck a chance next time you are in southtown! read more

One final stop before returning to EP, and we chose Rosas Kitchen for breakfast tacos. It was just as good as I remember it. So much so, I had to order one more for the road. The kids kept it simple with bean and cheese, chorizo and egg, and bacon and egg tacos. I wanted to enjoy their Chilaquiles and Eggs a la Mexicana tacos and I did. Paloma was amazing at getting our tacos out to us. She was friendly and greeted the regulars by their name. It was pretty cool. Em wanted a drink so we got a tasty and refreshing strawberry limonada. Rosa's Kitchen is a quaint food truck with an adjacent coffee shop kiosk. They are situated on a lot next to condominiums. Very inviting and friendly service from the attendants. The bean burrito is served nice and hot as well as the quesadillas. Their "salsas" are also well made and tasty. They have a good eating area with picnic style tables if you're staying to eat. Very flavorful and coupled with a smile, you can't go wrong here. If you are in the neighborhood I would highly recommend this food truck. read more

I ordered the green enchiladas lunch special but my driving slide them to one side. It came with avocado slices. I also got the pineapple and mango drink. There's a parking lot next door, it is scan and pay. Their chilaquiles taco was very good and fresh, it was scarfed. I took my order to go and I didn't see people eating there. I saw friendly golden retrievers and their owners and baby in stroller so, local residents like to pick up. Rosa's Kitchen is an amazing woman owned business located in Southtown on E Cevallos street right next to a coffee truck. I was able to try two tacos from here and both were amazing. First, I had a staple taco, which is the bean and cheese taco. Next, I had the chilaquiles taco. Both tacos were savory, not greasy and did not make me feel heavy after consuming. The guy that helped me out was extremely pleasant and offered some recommendations. The food didn't take too long and it was piping hot when I took a bite. They offer a plethora of breakfast tacos/plates you can think of so there shouldn't be an issue with selection. There are a few benches out in front of the food truck that are covered so you can enjoy the food outside or take it to go. I sat there and ate my food since it was a beautiful day. They are open every day until 2pm by the way. They also offer online ordering if you'd rather place order and pick up or you can order via DoorDash. I can't wait to try more tacos from Rosa's. This was my first time there & I'm glad I went! The food was really good and the price's reasonable. The taco tax is really going up everywhere & the prices here are reasonable for the amount you get. I got the asada quesadilla, which came with avacado, lettuce, tomato & sour cream. I also got the bean & cheese taco, which was great. The meat was good & the plate was very filling. The plate is great for 2 people in my opinion, unless you're very hungry you can demolish it yourself. The tortilla tasted nice and fluffy. Only complaint I wish both meals had more cheese but I'm a cheese girly so that's a personal opinion. Good customer service & lots of seating that is shaded. Unfortunately, this was a HUGE missed opportunity. I am so disappointed in their customer service that I am typing up this review right after leaving. We stopped by today, Sunday, which their hours of operation need to be updated. I love the lot that they are located at and there is a cute little coffee truck in the same lot. It's dog friendly, which I love. We ordered our tacos: Chilaquiles taco (add chorizo) Pirata taco Al Pastor mini tacos The truck was pretty busy, so I knew there would likely be a wait, no big deal to me, I usually give restaurants/businesses a lot of grace because it's not an easy job. 30 minutes later our food was ready. I open the orange salsa only to find two short hair strands in it. *sad face* I unwrap my chilaquiles taco only to find that they didn't add the chorizo I paid for. The person I was with took the taco and the salsa back to the truck to inform them of the hair and the mistake. The lady operating the truck said they would make a fresh taco and bring it out. I ate the pirata taco while I waited. After 15 minutes, it was apparent that they did not prioritize correcting my taco. I shouldn't have to wait an additional 30 minutes for a mistake that was made by them. We left disappointed. Advice: Please prioritize all corrections to orders. read more

I LOVE this taco truck! One Saturday me and my husband were at the farmers market and spotted this truck. We saw the drinks and decided to give the rusa drink a try. It was so refreshing with all of the fruit and I loved the chamoy for a kick! We also ordered the steak And pork tacos and they were simply amazing! The meat was so flavourful and I loved all the fresh onions and cilantro. What really made this experience wonderful was how welcoming the owners were.
