Potato cheddar Pierogi 12 Pcs with onion and bacon bits
    Talia A.

Pierogis are so fresh and delicious every time my boyfriend and I get takeout from Rosa-Ly. The onions are chopped so finely...for someone who hates chunky onions, these are perfectly sautéed and almost caramelized without being burnt. They melt in your mouth. The bacon bits are crispy and just YUM! The service is always great and quick. Definitely authentic polish cuisine. The kielbasa is a must have also!

#1 Kielbasa,6 pcs pierogi & pickle is the perfect lunch!

I haven't spent much time in this section of NJ but this place came up when I was searching for Polish food. I was looking for the perfect lunch and Rosa-Ly absolutely fit the bill! The woman working behind the counter was welcoming and so patient, explaining all of their options to me as a first time customer. I went with the kielbasa and six pierogi plate, three farmer cheese and three mushroom/sauerkraut. They topped it with fried onions and added a healthy dollop of sour cream to the plate. The pierogis are pure pillowy perfection! I want to keep trying the rest of their flavors. The kielbasa was so good! They make slices in a high quality kielbasa sausage and pan fry it. The result is crispy on the outside and the most outstandingly fresh and divinely seasoned sausage. The table and seating were comfortable and service was pretty quick. The portion was a perfect lunch!

Came here twice while staying in Fairfield. Keilbasas were top notch and the pierogis were perfect. I also tried the stuffed cabbage which was very good. Super friendly and enough seating.

Ordered some pierogi from here for Xmas eve dinner. Can't believe I haven't tried it sooner! I got an order of the cheese and potato, plus another order of sauerkraut pierogi. WOW!!! They were a hit. So delicious and you can tell they are home made. I also picked up their Ukrainian borscht with Uszka. It was the perfect appetizer and I'm already planning on going back to get more.

    Kielbasa and Kraut Sandwich

Grew up eating grandparents' homemade pierogies and homemade kielbasa so I had already came in with very high standards to compare against. Wow! They do not disappoint! You place your order at counter and they bring it to your table when ready. Keep in mind there are only about 3-4 tables inside and a few outside in the front. Enjoyed potato & farmer's cheese pierogies with sour cream and kraut with kielbasa. So tasty I had to bring home another order to freeze for dinner during week. The cheese pierogies are excellent too! Next time I will try the mushroom ones as these are all variations I grew up eating! The kielbasa is not commercial store brands as it's true homemade. There is a huge difference in texture and flavor as I simply cannot get a package of Hillshire. Check out that kielbasa sandwich! So glad they made it to Yelp's Top 25 pierogi places as they deserve the recognition. Definitely returning often!

***3 1/2 stars*** My history with pierogis is a little embarrassing - literally into adulthood, I assumed all pierogis were like the weird, rubbery concoctions from my middle school cafeteria. It was mind-blowing to me that they could actually be delicious, a noble addition to the same genre in my mind as empanadas and dumplings. I don't have a ton of experience with them, but the best I've had was from my chum's Polish mother-in-law, who made cheese ones for a backyard birthday party and I accidentally ate most of the inventory. These were good, but not to the level of the birthday pierogis. The worst part of this experience by far is/was the location. It's on a very weird, awkward section of 46 West that's just past the Clinton Rd. intersection, so to my knowledge the only way to get back onto 46 East is to go all the way into Montville for the next U-turn, or to do what I did, which was to actually go onto 80 East in Montville back home, bypassing 46 East entirely. It's a terrible spot (but seriously - if anyone has a better idea, I'd love to hear it). There are a few parking spots right in front of Rosa-Ly's, but when I showed up at lunchtime on Friday they were all occupied so I had to drive behind the building and park there. Not a big deal but it IS a little claustrophobic on the side alley sections heading in and out of that back lot - if I had a bigger vehicle, this could have been rough. This definitely isn't intended as an insult, but the interior reminds me a lot of a genre-specific bodega, if that makes sense. I was expecting more of a casual restaurant, but there were a lot of Polish grocery items for sale off to the sides. Thankfully there were also quite a few indoor seating options (and a table or two outside) so I was able to easily order and secure a spot nearby while I waited for my pierogis to come out. I went with the Potato & Farmer Cheese six-piece option ($8.95), since I already had a pleasant cheese pierogi experience under my belt. They were clearly made to order/fresh, and a woman from the kitchen delivered them to my table within about five minutes or so. (Both her and the woman at the counter separately confirmed if I wanted the sour cream/sauteed onions that traditionally accompany the dish, which I declined each times - nice touch.) In hindsight, I think I would have gone with a more mainstream cheese, since the Farmer was a little tangier than I preferred (I like a standout taste, but it was a LITTLE too standout-ish). Lesson learned. Overall though it was tasty and by no means a bad pierogi. Given that you're provided with six of these, I thought the price point was legit/competitive. The service was mostly good. My direct interactions with both woman were perfectly fine but (and this could just be me - it's entirely possible nobody else would be bothered by this) there was a customer at a nearby table who told the waitress that he hadn't gotten what he ordered. I didn't see the prior interactions to know how legitimate that claim was, but when the woman returned to the counter area, she and the other employee rolled their eyes and made a few muttered comments between themselves. It may have been an entirely deserved reaction, but it shouldn't happen in front of any other customers. Perfectly decent experience - if this were in a more convenient location, I'd be more inclined to come back for return visits. In the meantime, I'll keep trying to hit up backyard birthday parties.

    First time here!

There aren't that many places where you can get fantastic pierogies in northern NJ, but I found one in Fairfield. I stopped in at Rosa-Ly for lunch and it was excellent! I went for an order of 6, split up with 3 sauerkraut/mushroom, and 3 cheddar, bacon, and potatoes. The order is served with sour cream and onions. What a different, but delicious lunch! You can do takeout or dine in here. I stayed and there's plenty of seating. Parking is easy in front or in back. If you're looking for this Polish delicacy, give it a try. Next time, I'm going to try the potato pancakes!

this place was worth the drive. The pierogies were delicious. The Kabasa was a good size and very tasty including the side dish of a pickle mixture. We've recommended to other family members and we can't wait to go back. My wife wants to try something different. I'm gonna stick with the standard potato pierogies

A small storefront on the side of a very busy road filled with Polish treats. As someone who is dairy free I was sad that I couldn't eat anything there. However, the woman at the counter went back to the kitchen to ask if there was anything that was made dairy free and there was! I got 6 pirogies for about 10 dollars. You get to choose up to two flavors. I chose strawberry and blueberry. They put powdered sugar on top. I've never had a sweet pirogi so I didn't know what to expect. However, it was incredible. Very sweet and the dough was also delicious. Great place and would recommend.

Hot and fresh. There was a little wait but was well worth it. So many different flavors you can get. I recommend to call ahead to place order. You can eat in as well. Definitely recommend.

The pierogis here were delicious. I saw this small place driving by and immediately knew I had to stop it because it's not often you find a dedicated pierogi store. I ordered 6 pierogis, 3 were the potato and farmers cheese and the other 3 were supposed to be potato, cheddar, bacon and jalapeño. I'm pretty certain the ones that came out were the pulled pork ones, but regardless they were all great. I tried my sisters too, she got strawberry and blueberry. Beyond the food, the lady behind the counter was very friendly and helpful with my sister who is dairy free. I HIGHLY recommend this place!

Number 2: four pierogis; sauerkraut and Grilled Kielbasa
    Alexandra J.

Excellent food, fast and friendly service in a casual atmosphere. Between my partner and I we tried four kinds of pierogi - the meat, sauerkraut and mushroom, potato cheese and bacon, and jalapeño potato cheese and bacon. The meat were the favorite which is not usually the case. Side of kraut and kielbasa were excellent. The value of the meal at under $15 was incredible, I needed help to finish it. The staff was great and I loved seeing the other Polish products there for sale.

Holy Freakin Pierogi This Place is a Gold Mine for Foodies like Me!! And I can not believe I haven't ever been over here before. Well let's just say I have, but only in My dreams.    Now let's talk about Pierogi for a minute: they're served Boiled here with Sautéed Onions on top and a huge dollop of Sour Cream on the side, if You prefer Pan Fried They can do that too. I like either way depending on what kind of mood I'm in - moist & tender vs crispy & crunchy. Anyway filling choices are too many to list here but hopefully the attached menu picture helps. So for Me, I opted for 6 of the Sauerkraut and 6 of the Potato & Cheddar, what's that? Bill had 12? [damn right I ate 12 don't judge they're small and I was hungry okay] When grabbing 12 You get two choices of filling varieties. Both of My choices were Insanely Delicious and I don't know if They know this or not, but Imma be over here until I eat up EVERYTHING on this Incredible Menu. Happy Now judgers?  Lol!!    Anyhow there's a small parking lot in front and another lot in the back. Plus it's located right on Rt. 46 West so it's an easy in and out. Come And Get Your Munch On!!

    Lunch of champions.

BYOB We came with another couple on a Saturday night and it was amazing to walk into a gorgeous dining room area with a kid play space. Our two boys ages 6, loved having a lego table and toys while the adults loved having a moment of peace at the table! We literally had to beg them to come eat because they were so entertained. Do not think that it is a messy place because it is kid-friendly, quite the opposite, it was so elegant and beautiful inside. Now for the FOOD! Hubby and I ordered a tasting dish they had which included a few Polish favorites to try and it was perfect. It brought 3 different types of perogies (the potato and cheese was my favorite), stuffed cabbage, potato pancakes, kielbasa with sauerkraut, and more! We could taste a little bit of everything and the portion was huge. For our boys we had the chicken fingers and fries, and this sounds silly but it was REAL chicken. It wasn't battered, just strips of seasoned chicken and fries, the kids loved them. We also shared two desserts there was an ice cream with fruit (which was gorgeous) and a cole apple pie. I'm not a huge fan of the desserts but the presentation was incredible. The only downside is that service is a bit slow, but since it is BYOB, just take ur time drinking your wine. Overall I would highly recommend trying out Flavor of Poland and will be returning!

Everyone eating seemed to be enjoying themselves. I went with my husband, son , another couple and their son and it almost felt like a double date. The food was different but definitely would go back to try more things and enjoy the place itself. The plates were beautifully arranged. And it is byob. I ordered the chicken and husband the pork both pretty good. The other couple ordered the polish platter and the kids got chicken and fries and we got for dessert ice cream, apple pie and fruits.
