Terrific, tasty and well priced baked goods-not overly sweet, which I like. Great with a mid afternoon cup of coffee. Ample parking.

We had quite an assortment of hearty items from their extensive menu. The Big Dudes ‍‍platter consisted of a hot #pastrami sandwich, a stuffed pastrami knish, Rueben eggrolls, potato chips and assorted pickles. Joe and I weren't feeling desserty so we split a pastrami hotdog(ripper style). Everything was delicious and with all of the food choices in New Providence, it would have to be. It's a nice, clean shop with a friendly crew and great location on Springfield Avenue. This is your best Union County pastrami spot!

There's free street parking, so that's always a nice touch. They offer desserts from Junior's (Brooklyn), coffee, chips, & typical deli brand sodas (Boylan). We had the Traditional Sloppy & the Turkey Sloppy. Both were very good. Could have been "sloppier" for my taste, as in not enough Russian Dressing or Coleslaw. I now understand why my Wife wanted extra Russian on her sandwich. She said it still wasn't enough, lol. My Wife enjoyed the coleslaw so much she wanted a side of it. Everything was fresh, the bread had just the right amount of crunch, and the sandwich was made perfectly without being soggy. It was honestly chef's kiss! Anthony, if you read this, you seriously need to check what's happening at this location. You either need to replace some of these employees or take their phones away, because they seem far more interested in being on their phones than preparing customers' orders. And don't even get me started on the customer service. It's practically nonexistent. There is no sense of urgency, no accountability, and no respect for people's time. Customers shouldn't have to stand around watching employees ignore them while orders pile up. I've known the history of Tony Boys Sandwiches and Anthony for years, which makes it even more frustrating to watch this location decline. It's hard to believe this is the standard that's now being accepted. Poor management, unprofessional employees, constant mistakes, and a complete lack of accountability are driving loyal customers away. A successful business depends on discipline, customer service, and competent staff--not employees who seem more interested in their phones than doing their jobs. Anthony, if you care about your reputation, it's time to clean house and restore the standards that built this business. This location needs a complete reset. .

Hungry and very short on time, I ordered the turkey and brie sandwich from the Chatham Sandwich Shop. My order was ready for pickup in less than ten minutes. The sandwich was melt-in-your-mouth amazing--the kind of lunch that makes you stop after the first bite and think, "Oh, that's good." There's something comforting about places that do simple things exceptionally well. The Chatham Sandwich Shop is one of those classic sandwich shops that doesn't need to try too hard. Good food, quick service, and exactly what I needed on a busy workday. Five stars. I'll be back--probably the next time I ignore my grocery list.

We came a little later in the afternoon, probably closer to 2 PM, but there were still quite a few people having lunch, which is always a good sign. My friend ordered the tuna sandwich on sourdough, and I got the chicken salad on sourdough. Everything tasted fresh and yummy, and the sourdough was really good! We also got the macaroni salad to share, and honestly, it might have been my favorite part! It was perfect - not drowning in sauce like how other places make it, and I loved the fresh veggies mixed in. I would genuinely come back just for the macaroni salad, but I'd definitely be down to try some of their other sandwiches too! Not sure if we were the weird ones for getting macaroni salad as our side because I noticed everyone else seemed to be having a bag of chips with their sandwich..... Either way, no regrets! Definitely a cute little sandwich spot I'd come back to!
