I had window tint done by a company in Alsip on two of my windows. They did excellent work, but when it came to doing the rest I found ROS. ROS used ceramic over the lesser grade that Alsip used. I don't want to bash the company in Alsip because I have no complaints, but ROS is where I'll go going forward. Excellent work and fair pricing. Get quoted from other places if you're going to spend the money, but give ROS a shot at the quote. I thought they were well worth it. read more

Had two front windows done. Was told by the owner, Rafael the amount was $120 with a lifetime warranty. When I picked the car up, there was a 3 inch scratch in the tint on the driver side. Why would they think that was in good quality to leave? I showed his worker and he replaced it. I waited 7 days to roll my windows down and once I did, the corner then peeled off. Had to wait a week to bring it in to be replaced and Rafael (the owner) came up with a story about the lifetime warranty was only if I paid $150 (which was NEVER mentioned before - he said it was $120 w a lifetime warranty). He also made up a story about when his worker was ringing me out he tried telling me it was $150. When in actuality the guy who rang me out ASKED ME how much was I quoted. I never heard the amount $150 until I came back for them to fix their mistakes. To top it off, when he was replacing it for the THIRD TIME, he tells me to clean my car better because there was dust in the window jam. My car is BRAND NEW. So the reason for all these issues was my fault and not because they do terrible work. So make sure to clean your window jams before bringing it to this business. Lol. Total scam. When I got the credit card statement I saw they billed my card $200 more than the agreed $340.35. Thinking they had made a mistake, I called them to ask them to "fix" the over charge. The man, who admitted that he was the only one who would have run the charges through, told me that I had to come to his business so he could fix the over charge. He said he could not refund the $200 overcharge unless I came to his shop. They did good work but it was not worth $540.35 for the tinted windows- it was worth the $340.35 we had agreed upon. read more

Brought my audi coupe for tint, back window was full of bubbles all the way around, the two back side windows weren't tinted the correct way , very rigidity ( I was told to give it a few days bc it's cold--waited 2 1/2 weeks , no change) razor left in my backseat , had a soaked towel covering my radio in my trunk, wasted 20 miles of my gas, glue all over my car literally , headliner got trashed even got pen marks on it. when i went back to show him a picture of my clean headliner (pic taken 20 mins before dropping my car off) he claimed that it's not the same car as we're standing next to the car w the door open. Damaged my rims on my 2 day old Jaguar. They were immaculate when I dropped of my car. Unfortunately, did not notice until the next day. Also, quoted me at $290. While I was there, another young lady came in to have her 2019 Camry tinted and she was charged $190. How could the price call for a $100 difference on basically the same size car? read more

I just left from getting my second car (this year) tinted at ROS and I absolutely love the job they do. Both cars I've been able to get in same day and within the time frame given. I like that I wasn't sure what percentage of tint I wanted and he showed me how it looked on a vehicle outside. My car had decent factory tinting but I returned this fall because I love the ceramic film he uses which kept my first car (tinted last winter) cooler ALL summer. Found them on Groupon. I always read the fine print which stated to call to verify the car meets criteria, so called the number listed and spoke to someone and verified what the Groupon gets me, 4 windows and the rear windshield and that my car fits their criteria. Called the following Friday around noon to see if they have any opening in the evening and got a 4 pm appointment. Once I got there told the gentlemen that I will be using a Groupon. He was ok with it and started working on my car by cutting the film for all 4 windows and the rear windshield. Half way through it he gets a call and then hands me the phone to talk to the owner who is telling me that the Groupon does not include the rear windshield and was agitated at me for not mentioning the Groupon while making the appointment. I asked him what difference does it make and he never gave me a straight answer just that he would not have made the appointment had to known. Now mind you, his employee has already cut the film to size to my rear windshield and the owner is asking me to pay another $110 if I need the rear windshield done too. I tried to reason with him but got no where and in the end left with only 4 windows tinted. read more
