This was a very nice experience. Pros: Reasonable price, clean work, friendly interaction. Cons: There aren't more people like him. Tip: If you arrive early in the day, the area doesn't have much to do so bring a book or have someone pick you up. I had my vehicle tinted at Midco Tinting. I found the business owner to be very approachable, friendly, and knowledgeable. The tinting was applied very cleanly, he gave me some helpful tips on how to take care of the windows, and was a kind person throughout. I would gladly come back to Midco Tinting. Thank you. read more

This was the first time I was getting window tints on a car and it was for my girlfriend's new Subaru so I wanted to make sure we didn't cut any corners. We went with 35% ceramics on all 11 (yes that's right, 11) windows/window panels the Impreza has and I believe the price for the amount of cutting and sizing was great. When we arrived, Scott explained to her all the different levels and difference ceramics make to ensure she was entirely satisfied with the final product. We came in knowing we wanted ceramics, but his knowledge on the product reassured us. She seemed worried about the car being too dark, but he put her at ease by showing her comparable pieces of work. The amount of care that went into not only the work, but in the meeting before he went to work on her new car really put us at ease. Note: only issue I experienced was one of the tiny back window panels was cut a little small, but it's only noticeable if you're looking for it and even then isn't bad enough to where I'd want it redone, i only mention this because it goes to tell how perfect the other pieces came out. I have included some before and after pictures that show how much better the car looks with the spectacular job that was done. read more

Found out about this place from a friend who recently got his windows done. I really liked the quality on his car so I made an appointment with Scott and took it in. He's there Mon-Sat but there are no walk ins. You must make an appointment with him. In my case I had to make one on a Saturday 2 weeks ahead. He is very thorough and complete with job he does. He makes sure that you know all your rights in regards to window tinting in IL. I got all 4 windows and the rear window done for $175. It may seem pricey but it's not. The quality is flawless and I really don't want to be driving a car around that has poor quality window tint. The cost may have gone up now. The shop is small so plan on walking around the area for 2-3 hours while he works or have someone come pick you up. There's nowhere in the shop for you to wait. Be kind and wash your car before you go so that it's easier for him to maneuver without getting all dirty. read more

I enjoyed working with this tint shop thoroughly. I didn't schedule an appointment and he fit me in the same day. The service was such high quality and don't within great timing. Would definitely recommend and come back for Ant future tint endeavors. -Joshua Hill read more

Worth the drive!!! Scott is helpful, knowledgeable, professional and efficient. He went above and beyond helping me with my tint ticket, metering it for me wiring a receipt etc that I could take to court. In the end I had to take it off because of Chicago's stupid tint laws not abiding by the states. He did my removal, took about 20-minutes and it was flawless! If Chicago ever decides to pull their heads out regarding their tint laws I'll definitely go back to Scott to have him put tint back on. Highly recommended to anyone remotely close in the area. read more

Scott did a great job on my Honda Civic Hatchback. Quoted me and got me in really quickly. He even started an finished the job earlier than expected. He will talk you through options and what they mean and is a very nice guy. Some people wouldn't even tint my car because it was extra work to remove the rear spoiler but he did it for a great price! read more

Fantastic job on my car! No bubbles anywhere and lifetime warranty! My car looks like it's been manufactured with tinted windows! Can this get any better? Scott is a great guy that will explain everything to you before you put the tints on: what's legal, how it's done, warranty, how dark you can go, what windows you can tint, and that.. yes, you can actually get it done in the middle of winter, and will also give you a great price! Only done by appointment. Bring something to read or watch if you want to wait because it will take a good few hours (depending on your car). I have an Altima Coupe, tinted windows all around (besides windshield, of course) & it took 3 hours, give or take a couple minutes. If you're thinking about tinting, go see Scott! I'm from the NW suburbs and it was totally worth the drive! 5 stars! read more

SCOTT is the man to go to!!! Not only is he educated about his craft but he's very detail oriented. He got me right in when I arrived, handled my 2014 car with care, and then sent me on my way feeling great. Scott knows all the state and city laws which helps prevent you from getting one of those ridiculous $250.00 tickets. I was torn between going to two different shops for this job and I'm so happy I chose to go with Scott at Midco. The quality, lifetime guarantee, and detail is just flawless. I'm overly joyed and my car looks 10x more amazing! read more

Midco Tinting - The tint looks flawless and I'm beyond happy with the job Scott did. - Auto Detailing Near Me - Burbank, Illinois

Let me start by saying the work is good. However I'm not completely satisfied. My car doesn't really look as if it has tint. I let him know I wasn't happy & he wants to charge me to take it off plus the original price I paid. I'll just take it elsewhere. I'm bummed as I'm out of $200. His work is good & he's passionate about it. Its just not what I wanted. You can see straight through my car. One shade darker would have been perfect. Oh well, needless to say I wouldn't refer him as he didn't seem to care about future business. read more

Scott is the most competent businessman when it comes to window tinting. I called midweek and asked if I could have my windows tinted on a Saturday. We both agreed that Saturday morning would work. Scott secured the price before walking in and there were no hidden fees. Scott was straight forward and explained all the laws that were in place for Illinois. Throughout the tinting, he would update me via text. If you're looking for quality tinting. Scott is the guy! Will recommend friends and family! read more

Just had Scott do two more cars for me, an ML350 and an E350 Benz, both turned out beautifully. I am still amazed by the attention to detail and absolutely flawless workmanship. By far the best tint shop in the Chicago area (I drive 40 miles to get there and it is worth it). Thanks Scott! read more

I had cars tinted in NYC and California, and I have never seen better service than what Scott offers. I just moved to the area and had a car that needed tints, I called around and in typical fashion went to the cheapest place that can get me in first....I found a place that quoted me $160 and that can see me right away, so I drove over and I was completely turned off.. place was dirty and they told me there was 3 cars ahead of me.(like wtf, they just told me to come over) i asked what kind of tints they use (3M, suntek..ect) and they couldn't answer me. after observing them just slap tints on a car and rushing to the next I realized this place is not for me. So I hopped on yelp again and did a broader search and found Scott, he was very informative; not only explained the difference in type of tint also explained his technique.. he quoted me $200..obviously a little more than what I was trying to spend.. but let me tell you.. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR, I was blown away with quality of work I got from Scott, car came out amazing... I've never seen a technician more meticulous than Scott. he takes his time, takes off door trims, uses rulers and protractors to get precise cuts.. If you are looking to tints, and actually care about your car, just stop reading and call Scott NOW..period. I can guarantee it'll be the best tints you ever get. read more

Had my car windows tinted. I was back and forth on what shade of tint and the owner let me come by and check out and go over the different shades. Pricing was good and the owner is a really nice guy. I highly recommend this place. Very professional and got the job done perfectly and done in two hours time. I'm super happy and have noticed my car staying cooler with the air on in the heat. I recently bought a new BMW, and asked the dealership themselves to do my tinting for my windows, and they said they could, but they highly recommend Midco Tinting Inc. instead, which blew my mind that they would turn down extra money and direct me to another company. We'll I read the reviews and was impressed so I took the recommendation and made my appointment. Scott, which is the owner was the one I got in contact with to set it up, and he was super helpful and knowledgeable. He was up front about tinting limits and pricing and process which was very comforting. When I arrived at my appointment time he was all ready to go, no waiting or anything. I decided to take an uber to the nearby mall while I was waiting, and on the ride back, the uber drive knew where I was going and said his very windows were tinted by Scott which really made me feel at ease since his tint job was flawless. I arrived back to him being done on time, and everything looked great. I will also add that I triple checked at a few other places that came up online and Scott's price beat them all. My only regret from this experience is that I don't have more cars to take there! read more

The guy does an amazing and very professional job on me and my family's cars. My only negative is he kinda got an attitude with me and refused to have different shades of tint. For example I wanted the legal lighter tints for the front windows and a little darker tints for the rear windows. And he refused to do so almost with an attitude. read more

Wonderful Job ******** I called this place and was able to get a appointment right away. He was so very nice on the phone. When I got to this place I was able to pull my car right in. He told me that my car was going to be ready at 5pm and it was ready. Wonderful This was the 1st time that I got window tint for any of my cars but because I now have leather seats. I was ready to give it a try. He did such a great job I was able to see him do 1 of my windows and he has great patients. This guy is really good and I'm putting him on the map as it you looking them call him. He knows his stuff and will keep you in the line of ticket free. Note: It is places near by if you just don't won't to set in the waiting area but this place is clean and the chairs are comfy. Scott tinted my car in the summer of 2011. It was an Audi S4 and a new model at the time so it was the first of the body style that he'd done. Despite it being the first Scott had done he did a great job and charged a fair price. Most tint shops say things are guaranteed for life but the shops themselves come and go. You know that won't happen with Scott as he's been tinting as long as I've been alive. I'd highly recommend him. read more

I've known about Scott for years because he has a very reputable business in the area. Scott has tinted several of my friends vehicles and has always stood behind his product and workmanship. I took my 2011 MDX in for my front windows to be tinted. Scott is well versed in the state laws regarding window tint. He advised me that he would not violate any state laws that could get any owner in a situation with law enforcement. I am completely satisfied with my experience. I encourage anyone looking to get their windows tinted to check out Scott. He has 26 years experience in the field and his prices were competitive. Remember, you get what you pay for!! read more
