This was the first time I was getting window tints on a car and it was for my girlfriend's new Subaru so I wanted to make sure we didn't cut any corners. We went with 35% ceramics on all 11 (yes that's right, 11) windows/window panels the Impreza has and I believe the price for the amount of cutting and sizing was great. When we arrived, Scott explained to her all the different levels and difference ceramics make to ensure she was entirely satisfied with the final product. We came in knowing we wanted ceramics, but his knowledge on the product reassured us. She seemed worried about the car being too dark, but he put her at ease by showing her comparable pieces of work. The amount of care that went into not only the work, but in the meeting before he went to work on her new car really put us at ease. Note: only issue I experienced was one of the tiny back window panels was cut a little small, but it's only noticeable if you're looking for it and even then isn't bad enough to where I'd want it redone, i only mention this because it goes to tell how perfect the other pieces came out. Found out about this place from a friend who recently got his windows done. I really liked the quality on his car so I made an appointment with Scott and took it in. He's there Mon-Sat but there are no walk ins. You must make an appointment with him. In my case I had to make one on a Saturday 2 weeks ahead. He is very thorough and complete with job he does. He makes sure that you know all your rights in regards to window tinting in IL. I got all 4 windows and the rear window done for $175. It may seem pricey but it's not. The quality is flawless and I really don't want to be driving a car around that has poor quality window tint. The cost may have gone up now. The shop is small so plan on walking around the area for 2-3 hours while he works or have someone come pick you up. There's nowhere in the shop for you to wait. Be kind and wash your car before you go so that it's easier for him to maneuver without getting all dirty. read more

Worth the drive!!! Scott is helpful, knowledgeable, professional and efficient. He went above and beyond helping me with my tint ticket,metering it for me wiring a receipt etc that I could take to court. In the end I had to take it off because of Chicago's stupid tint laws not abiding by the states. He did my removal, took about 20-minutes and it was flawless! If Chicago ever decides to pull their heads out regarding their tint laws I'll definitely go back to Scott to have him put tint back on. I had cars tinted in NYC and California, and I have never seen better service than what Scott offers. I just moved to the area and had a car that needed tints, I called around and in typical fashion went to the cheapest place that can get me in first....I found a place that quoted me $160 and that can see me right away, so I drove over and I was completely turned off.. place was dirty and they told me there was 3 cars ahead of me.(like wtf, they just told me to come over) i asked what kind of tints they use (3M, suntek..ect) and they couldn't answer me. after observing them just slap tints on a car and rushing to the next I realized this place is not for me. I recently bought a new BMW, and asked the dealership themselves to do my tinting for my windows, and they said they could, but they highly recommend Midco Tinting Inc. instead, which blew my mind that they would turn down extra money and direct me to another company. Scott, which is the owner was the one I got in contact with to set it up, and he was super helpful and knowledgeable. He was up front about tinting limits and pricing and process which was very comforting. When I arrived at my appointment time he was all ready to go, no waiting or anything. I decided to take an uber to the nearby mall while I was waiting, and on the ride back, the uber drive knew where I was going and said his very windows were tinted by Scott which really made me feel at ease since his tint job was flawless. Wonderful Job ******** I called this place and was able to get a appointment right away. He was so very nice on the phone. When I got to this place I was able to pull my car right in. He told me that my car was going to be ready at 5pm and it was ready. Wonderful This was the 1st time that I got window tint for any of my cars but because I now have leather seats. I was ready to give it a try. He did such a great job I was able to see him do 1 of my windows and he has great patients. Despite it being the first Scott had done he did a great job and charged a fair price. Most tint shops say things are guaranteed for life but the shops themselves come and go.
