I think she has a lot of insight and is very smart, but if you're like me and value promptness and a little more effort on the emotional side. I do not think she is a good fit for you. She was continually late, but made sure to always get me out at my time. I'm tired of their time being valuable and mine not..... Or maybe if she is really busy she might need to stop accepting new patients. We didn't end on bad terms. But, I just got a charge on my CC a year later for an appt that she forgot to charge. I don't appreciate the unprofessionalism especially when you're paying so much.

There is not a finer group of health providers anywhere in my estimation. That being said, my experience with the patient interface has been very challenging at times. It's hard to imagine how a company can provide the breadth of services they do, comply with all regulations, guard individual privacy AND remain profitable. Ideally one could get seamless care, especially when in mental health distress. The reality is that, for most of us, a state of mental health distress makes otherwise-ordinary problems much harder to navigate. I believe that, for the service they are trying to offer in a complex regulatory environment, they do a good job. As a person with learning differences, I have learned that I have to allow more time than one might think to deal with situations that can be tricky for me. Sometimes you have to stop and take a breath. Sometimes you'll need to find some patience or ask for help. How did I learn those skills? Through years of counseling and doing my best to walk the walk daily. It might not be easy to get started, but friend, I promise that investing in your mental health is worth it.
