The receptionist was one of the most unpleasant I've had the displeasure of ever dealing with and I've asked my PCP to refer me to another clinic. Took her off of a psych med that she had been on for 17 years without telling anybody. Tried to add a psych med on for nerve pain without adjusting current psych meds. More than once added on a medication she was allergic to despite repeated family warnings and had an idea to re-create a weight loss medication made of multiple drugs, without adjusting the levels to what was in the medication she was trying to duplicate. Listening to the patient is great but when you don't listen to the patient caregivers you miss a lot of really important information that is pertinent to caring for the patient. Especially with geriatric patients that are confused. When my mother presented with severe back pain, she ordered muscle relaxers and PT instead of doing imaging. That back pain turned out to be metastatic cancer that killed my mom. I was going to write this review before my mom died, but that is just the icing on the cake. Repeated frustrating visits with this doctor. You just don't blow off the patient caregivers or change routine psychiatric meds without telling anyone. Poor management across providers. NOT OK!!! Don't turn your back for a second with geriatric loved ones!

However, one friend recommended me to see Dr. Nick, and he drives 25 minutes to see him! When I first contacted them, I was apprehensive. Chiropractors have various reputations and have been known to just be in it "for the easy money" but I'm going to go ahead and ease your apprehension here. From the very start, any and all questions I asked were answered as if I was the most important person! Not a single "dumb" question can be asked. Great customer/patient service. As far as the process, it's easy. You can download the intake forms, print and fill them out, scan them back in and email them so your first visit is quick and seamless. The first meeting with Dr. Nick is private and comforting; it's all about how he can help "fix" you! I went 3 days before the X-Ray machine was installed, but now they have on-site imaging that helps save YOU money! Once you agree on a plan, you can get to therapy right away with one of his amazing therapists! They're very professional yet personal. They all seem to know your name and seem to truly care! Bottom line: when I come here, the "Cheers" theme song comes to mind. "Sometimes you wanna go - where everybody knows your naaame... And they're always glad you caaame..." :) Also, two weeks into PT and I am already "out of the fog" of neck pain I was in, I am even better than I thought I needed to be (I didn't even know I had limited mobility in certain areas, I just thought it was normal!) and I still have quite a ways to go until my specific therapy is over. I can't wait to go here each day, but even more so, I can't wait to have a healed neck!

One issue was completely ignored a second issue I was told to take some over the counter meds for it (Like I hadn't already nor was I intelligent enough to think of that before wasting over an hour of my time and my money to go to the doctors office) and the 3rd issue (that I was hoping to at least get a referral for) I was told if I started to feel any pain to go to the emergency room. Today, on Sunday Dr. McCray gave her a note saying she was clear to go out and attend our daughters dance recital today. Exactly 24 hours after testing positive yesterday morning!
