Had a bad experience with Good Neighbor Lawn Care. I'd read the rave reviews and decided to give…read morethem a shot. We have less than a quarter acre in a subdivision, but paid them for mulch, a grass cut, and lawn treatment (you get three treatments) to get rid of some problem areas. This first visit totaled over $500 (most of the cost going to the lawn treatment) The first service was amazing. The mulch looked great, I know it was hard work for those guys. Two weeks had passed and I wondered when they were coming back, they said that they were doing the rotation every three weeks. The next week comes, and I hadn't heard anything, so I inquired and they said I was on the schedule the next day. After that cut, I noticed that they didn't apply any lawn treatment, and they had missed large parts of my lawn. Travis apologized about missing the areas, but then said that the grass was too dry to apply the treatment. Understandable, but when were they going to tell me that? So I paid $48 and had to do the remaining edging and flat areas. Three weeks later, I get another cut and a lawn treatment. This time the service was spot on. ($48 all said for the cut. Lawn treatment was paid for up front) Three weeks later, due for my next cut, absolutely nothing from them. At this rate, I cut the lawn myself. I pay the $50 precisely so I DON'T have to worry and babysit I let it ride for another week until the Friday after Labor Day, I don't hear anything so I texted Travis. He said that they were closed over the labor day holiday for four days, and they were playing catchup, but they "had me for this week." At this point, it has been FOUR WEEKS with no correspondence. I'm in over $600 to this company, I've only had 2/3 lawn treatments completed, and one of the scheduled cuts I had to finish myself, and I guess I'm just out of the extra $100 or so for the services they didn't complete. Tons of other options for a lower price. I'd heard from another friend that had the service that a similar thing happened, but at that time it was a "family emergency" but no correspondence was left and they just stopped showing up. All that said, this company would be fantastic if they just kept their customers up to date and had the appropriate backoffice talent to schedule appointments, track services rendered and keep things moving.

This company is reckless and unskilled. These tree rings and patio were completed 2 weeks ago and…read moreare already breaking apart as you can see from the pictures. They overcharged for work they did not know how to do. When I questioned their methods and repeated 2 outside professionals' expert explanations of the issues, they condescendingly told me to "google the ramming earth method they have used for 20 years" and acted like I was overrating to my patio caving in on itself. I did google it and found out it was indeed the wrong method for a raised/sealed patio and would cause it to sink into the ground and break, which you can see is already happening mere weeks later. When I asked how they would fix the issue they said they would remove an isolated area of stone that dipped into the center to reinforce that part and add more mortar to the top to fill in the sinking seams. The issue is that they used permeable sand that allows water to break down the seams and because the base isn't reinforced with cement/rebar, the water that leaks in and the weight of the stones make it sink deeper and breakdown into itself. I had stopped payment on my second check so we could work out a solution but other professional opinions were their solution wouldn't actually resolve the problems, it would just keep happening. They told me to use the second half of my payment to hire someone else, so I did. When I asked them for the remaining refund of the patio (excluding the tree rings that weren't even circles and had already cracked apart) because I didn't want to pay for something that needed to be demolished and redone, they responded with a bill and threats. The email was attempting to convince me that I had accepted their work and was there to oversee it all, which I wasn't and also, I'm not a foreman or masonry - I accepted ugly work but didn't realize it would also fall apart. They attached a bill for full payment, going back on their previous statement to keep it, and threatened to put a lien on my property if I didn't pay. Luckily, that was unlawful. I replied inviting them to see what has happened to their work over the last couple of weeks and provided them with access to a photo drive with over 100 photos and a video so they could see their work. They accesses the photos but ghosted me. If they, and their work, had integrity they would have handled this situation respectfully and appropriately. I don't want others to have to be in my position so I'm sharing my experience in hopes to prevent you from getting a hazard installed on your property and having to pay twice.

Cesar is the owner! ) Fair pricing, quality is amazing, and work ethic is so strong! I saw a few reviews and have to say this... you have to maintain whatever landscaping anyone puts in - whether it be your irrigation, plants, and weeds that follow!!! Weed barrier overall doesn't prevent Texan weeds from growing, and generally I don't recommend or get weed barrier. Use a natural ground cover that snuffs the bad stuff out. You'll also have to replace some plants - they can be finicky based on the elements and soil (or rocks) which can vary in a single yard. If you are new to the area, know this - color is season al but most often everything is green. It requires so much self care if you want color all year around which basically means planting annuals yourself.

There were times that I would have to go over and mow her yard because Perfection had just been there and it didn't appear they had touched anything. The straw that broke the camel's back was when their mower picked up a rock and it hit the driver's window of my mother's car. No one bothered to tell her about it. Instead she had to find out the following day when leaving for a medical appointment. She replaced the window.
