While I live in the United States, I am originally from Toronto and have enjoyed wearing Roots clothing over the years both when I was a kid and now as an adult. While I haven't made a recent Roots purchase in a few years, I recently visited the Roots store at the CF Shops at Don Mills and made the most of my visit along with my sister who was in town with me.
Upon arriving to the store, my sister and I were immediately greeted and asked if we need any help finding anything. We said we were in from out of town and just wanted to see what they have. We split up as I looked at the men's attire while my sister looked at the women's attire. I actually found a Roots t-shirt on clearance that had the old logo I remembered from my childhood and bought that. It came with a nice Roots bag, which I gave to my sister. Now, that I know the clothing and other household items that Roots sells and what may be on clearance, I plan to visit the Roots store more often on future visits.
This location is open on weekdays from 10 AM to 9 PM, Saturday form 10 AM to 8 PM, and Sunday from 11 AM to 7 PM. They sell women's, men's, and kids' attire along with footwear in the store. If you go to their website (https://www.roots.com) and sign up for their e-mail list, you can score $10 off your next purchase of $50 or more. The website has online ordering options, a store locator, information about tracking, returns, and delivery options, details about Roots careers, more about Shop Made in Canada, and gift card information.
I have memories of Roots serving as the official outfitter of the U.S. Olympic Team from 2002 through 2008. I also of course remember them being the official outfitter of the Canadian Olympic Team from 1998 through 2004. That means that from 2002 through 2004, they were the outfitters of both the American and Canadian teams!
While I don't get to stop by the Roots store too often, I am so glad I stopped by and plan to return again on future visits! read more
