    Wardrobe for men, specifically Ashraf (the owner), saved us!…read more My husband and I flew in from California to attend a wedding. Unfortunately, the suit the groom purchased for him did not fit and my husband was in a bind to find one worthy to wear as best man with only five days notice. I was really uneasy about going to a big box store thinking about all the mistakes that could happen with alterations or lost suits + impersonal service. I came across this yelp page and saw that the owner had helped another Californian out in a jam with overnight service so we called him straight away on Monday morning. He said it wouldn't be a problem and to come on in to get measured. We were very nervous about the timing, but sure enough, Ashraf got it done for us with plenty of time to spare. He carefully selected a suitable black suit and started meticulously measuring away. Afterwards, he called the warehouse and was able to pick up the materials the same day. Ultimately after spending 25 minutes in the store, Ashraf said we would be able to pick it up within 2 days and not to worry. True to his word and much to our relief, we picked up my husband's perfectly tailored black suit on Wednesday afternoon. Ashraf was so helpful, reliable, and friendly. Wardrobe for men is truly a full wardrobe solution store. I also thought they were very reasonably priced for such full service and great selection of attire. We will definitely be back for more suits from Ashraf! Check him out, you will be so glad you did!

I called a work colleague and asked that he research the best stores to purchase a suit for my next day business meeting that began at 9 am. The problem that I faced was my flight was going to arrive in Toronto airport just after 7 pm and all the stores would be pretty much closed by the time I got to Downtown area. As soon as my plane landed in Toronto I turned my phone on and saw that my colleague recommended Wardrobe for Men via text. He said that he had spoken to Ashraf the owner and instructed me to call Ashraf when I arrived at the store which I did. Ashraf came and opened the store around 830 pm. The store had a wide range of great quality suits to select from and I purchased an excellent quality navy colored suit made in Canada. Ashraf fitted me to the suit beautifully but the issue was that it needed to be altered for arm and leg length and it was already 830 pm. Ashraf was able to reach his alterations person after many calls and begged him to do an alteration for me at the late hour. The guy agreed and Ashraf called his son to come and pick up my suit and deliver to the alterations person. After the son came after 30 minutes Ashraf's wife kindly pressed and ironed my suit and shirt. He then asked his son to take me to my hotel which was 10 minutes away which by the time I arrived was after 10 pm. I got some dinner and went to bed and my meeting the next day was a success. I have never experienced such par excellence service literally in my life. I will always be grateful and remember Ashraf each time I wear the suit. I don't like to write review generally but I want to share this amazing experience.

So far I have only dealt with them online, but the service I received from Jonathan was absolutely amazing. I was having trouble deciding between several items, but Jonathan asked me a few questions and was able to help me decide. When the stuff arrived, he was totally right. I am so happy to have received his advice. From now on, I only want to shop at Lost and Found. Thank you so much, I can't wait to place my next order. Update: I was in Toronto for a wedding and had some time to go visit them in person. They are in a great location, the store is well organized, and the staff is friendly and passionate about fashion. I had a great conversation about the brands they stock and why they choose them, which only further reinforced my opinion that this is the best men's store in Canada. But the best part was this: I bought a sweater (among other things) and was about to pay for it when I noticed a thread coming loose. To my amazement, their team was able to repair the garment while I waited. Not only do they stock the best clothing, they also provide excellent support. The sweater has been great ever since and survived several trips through the wash. Thanks for the perfect repair job! Next time please teach me how to do that :)

(im fully willing to accept that im projecting the anger felt about my fat dome.) anyhow, they had those fargo hats with the flaps in a few different styles, some simple bowl toques that are in style these days (overpriced anywhere you go in my opinion) and a few caps here and there. all pretty cool and though not all styles agreed with me (we are talking taste wise here not swelled noggin), it was nice to see the variety. for about 60 or so dollars you could pick up a leather belt with an impressive buckle. the beauty of this belt is that once youve picked the right leather, first of all you can mix and match, because the belts and buckles are sold separately, and secondly, you can always come back for an alternate buckle (or buy as many buckles as you like at the same time i suppose). there were some really cool baseball tee shirts with those 3/4 arms that were very very thin and weathered in some way where patches of it looked thicker in material and some parts were much thinner. great shirt, but itd be a shirt id wear once in a while when i knew i was doing something nowhere near related to a game of baseball. the long sleeve collared shirts also stood out to me, with varied styles, nice patterns and fabrics. the jackets seemed not to stand out in the same way. all in all, i enjoyed this shop, will come here again, probably to buy a belt first and i look forward to their continued success.

Housed in a cute Victorian small-town cottage beside the Leslieville Pumps gas station/grub joint, the store is like a teleporter to that other side of Queen Street, that I wonder if I am even in my own neighbourhood anymore whenever I step inside. I guess it's a sign of the times in the east end, as much as it is an interesting addition to the Leslieville strip. I was forwarded a meme whilst contemplating this nonsense (because apparently no one else has yet, bloody hell), and on it, a satirical list of things purported to be signs your 'hood is gentrifying, including an "inexplicable general store." Inexplicable. General. Store. I guess that best explains Good Neighbour. True to form, the place is filled with all sorts of eclectic and stylish stuff of all random categories scattered everywhere, like greeting cards, clothes and outerwear, mugs, footwear, backpacks, cosmetics, stationery. It's sort of like a Drake General Store (or maybe even an Urban Outfitters), but with more emphasis on fashion and lifestyle goods... and less on random cheeky hipster gag gift kitsch. There's a small kids section tucked in the back by the fitting room stalls, with an assortment of dresses, toys, puzzles, and humourous books. The men's stuff upstairs kind of scares me with the quantity of soaps and toiletries for the discerning well-groomed hip man. The place itself is a marriage of curated hip(ster) tastes (oh wait, they even have a table of selected Drake General Store crap for sale), and Club Monaco chic. Thankfully like a good neighbour the folks here don't stink so much of that douchey we're-too-cool-for-thou attitude that many hipster businesses are known for--they instead stink of individual cheerful Queen West-esque personality and a level of helpfulness not normally seen in a more corporate fashion boutique. Pricey? Kinda expected that. What is not expected are the sale offers that do pop up time and time again. My sister claims she bought a pair of jeans here for less than what Hudson's Bay was charging for the same brand. But I usually end up with socks, or scarves, or cards. Or whatever. {TTC: take the 72 bus or the 501-2-3 to Queen/Carlaw}
