I told him I was going to get a second opinion. We had another service provider over that afternoon and they said they did not detect any carbon monoxide and that it was perfectly safe. I'm certain that if they tried to convince me that I needed a new furnace by stating it was unsafe due to carbon monoxide that they have used this same tactic on others and will likely do it again. If I could give them ZERO starts then I would.
