The food was amazing as well.. I never had to ask for a knife and fork for a Hot Dog before, but didn't want to unhinge my jaw to take a bite!- it was righteous !!! the Watermelon puree margarita was my go to drink and I appreciated the lemon/lime water stations inside and out to pace myself from overdoing it.. it helped that the weather was perfect too on the Saturday I went. I will gladly make the trip back, this time with my girlfriend to enjoy a day at Lynn's Hula Hut!! - Top Notch!!

Please Google how much waiters are paid hourly in New York State minimum. It is about 20 dollars. Only the Deep South still pay waiters a low hourly wage. After I left a tip and clearly wrote 10 dollars and clearly wrote the 170 dollar total I noticed the next day my tip was changed by staff to 29 dollars and my bill was now 190 total. I called the next day and said there was a mistake and I was accidentally overcharged. I gave the staff all the grace in the world. I was then asked if there was a problem with the service after giving 10 dollars!! These obnoxious, smug thieves were caught red handed and could not just refund my 19 dollars without first asking why I ONLY tipped 10. I was going to do a police report so it was good they at least credited back my 19 dollars they stole after I caught them. I wish I did not even leave a ten dollar tip. Waiters in New York make at least 20 an hour. You do not owe them another 20 percent. Btw they made my tip 20 percent AFTER taxes were included. I would eat here again tbh but I will pay in cash the next time. Don't use credit cards with these gonifs.

The food matches the atmosphere with seafood dishes that feel made for being near the water. The stuffed chopped clams were a standout, and the lobster mac & cheese was the perfect indulgent comfort dish. The seafood fra diavolo brought the right amount of flavor and heat, and the seared scallops were beautifully done. What I liked most about Muse is that it doesn't feel like it's trying too hard. It's a great mix of a beautiful location, good food, and that laid-back Montauk energy that makes you want to stay awhile. Definitely worth the trip all out to The End.

We were looking for dinner Saturday night and of the limited options this place looked potentially good. I was terribly wrong. We walked in to see one other table occupied. Sure, it's the offseason, whatever. We ordered a couple of frozen drinks and the problems immediately started. The bartender used way too much ice in the blender. The drinks were obviously undrinkable but served anyway. The drinks did not melt by the time we left. Maybe the food would be good. Wrong again. The lobster in the lobster pasta was tough. I almost hope it wasn't fresh because it would have been a waste. The linguine with clams was no better. At the end of the meal my girlfriend remarked that she had never seen me not finish my dinner. We both knew why I hadn't. Awful restaurant. The owners should be ashamed.

Everything tasted incredibly fresh. I started with the fluke sushi, which I'd never tried before, and it was delicious. (I wish I could accurately describe sushi/fish in better detail, but I can't so just trust me on this one!) For my main course, I ordered the hot lobster roll, and as an avid lobster roll-lover, it did not disappoint. The lobster was served in generous, chunky pieces with just the right amount of butter. It came with fries that were perfectly crispy, though I do wish they had been seasoned a bit more. The restaurant overlooks the inlet, making it the perfect spot to relax and watch the boats come and go. The staff was welcoming, and the service was excellent from start to finish. They also played great music -- that particular day they were playing country music (a southerner's dream!). Last but not least, another bonus is the location. There are several charming little shops just steps away, making it easy to browse before or after your meal. My biggest fear is it's going to be super crowded the next time I'm back in Montauk and I won't get a table. With that being said, I absolutely cannot wait to eat another amazing lobster roll with that lovely view! 5 stars for the lobster roll, 5 stars for the view, 5 stars for the hospitality!

Never have I seen steamers without hot water to wash them in and the serving didn't come with butter either - they were also covered with random vegetables like little chunks of celery and onions, which was unnecessary and gave it zero flavor. It was the oddest portion of steamers that I had ever experienced, no butter no hot water to clean with nothing. As a result, a couple of the steamers were pretty sandy and I wasn't a big fan! Definitely wouldn't recommend. Ambience was nice though.
