The work was completed that day and Veterans plumbing was paid in full $ 1575.00. After Ian left I went to wash the patio and did not have enough pressure to wash the patio. When we hooked up the Woodford valve to the irrigation system there was no pressure to run the irrigation system. Ian came back out on July 1st 2026 and tried to resolve the issues even calling in to his boss to try to remedy the problem. nothing got resolved. I decided to get another onion by another plumbing company. I discovered in the first half hour with the other plumbing that the hose bib valve that was put in for about 485.00 was defective, once replaced full water pressure was established. As we continued to look at Veterans Plumbing work we discovered that when the Woodford valve was installed for the irrigation they had taped into a 3/4 inch line feeding the bathroom with softened water. Not only would this of killed all the planting and lawn in the Newley installed landscaping but it was not sized correctly to get the pressures needed. I called into the office and told them what I was dealing with and a very unprofessional were sorry was all I got. The Ian that work in the office said well I am not a plumber I just schedule, did not offer a refund or to speak with anyone else in the company. This is a very poorly run outfit that has no Idea what they are doing and are charging prices for a well experienced plumber. ALL IN I PAID $1575.00 FOR A JOB THAT I AM NOW REDOING. STAY AS FAR AWAW AS YOU CAN FORM VRTRANS PLUMBING UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE RIPPED OFF.

Then, after changing out my reverse osmosis water filters, suddenly my hot water did not work any more. They said I needed to call a plumber and then they would come back and finish the installation. I called a plumber, he came out and fixed their mistake, and charged me a $100. I didn't hear back from Lindsay Ecowater, I just received a bill in the mail for $387. And I still didn't have filtered water! I called Lindsay Ecowater to please come out and finish hooking up the reverse osmosis. After all, I had only requested that they change out the water filters. They came out and said that they couldn't get any water to come out of the faucet. And that this was my fault because I didn't have water pressure. HOWEVER, my reverse osmosis worked perfectly fine before they came out and messed with it. So now, I have an outrageous bill from this company $387, and no water!!! I have no drinking water and now I have to buy it and pack it home from the store!!!! Do not do hire Lindsay Ecowater! Their installers are rude. And you will have to take time off work to have them come to your home because they don't do service calls after 4pm.

Water heater stopped heating water. Called Goodson and they sent a technician out. He determined…read morethe thermostat was faulty. He found one, went and got it and installed it. Water heater working again, very happy. After taking a shower and making dinner and doing the dishes, my wife and I decided go out to the garage and check out the water heater. Upon going into the garage we both smelled a very strong odor of gas. We opened up the man door to get some fresh air into the garage, no way would we use the garage door opener, that could have caused a explosion. I remember the technician was using a pair of channel lock pliers to tighten some of the gas lines. I even questioned his choice of tool to tighten a gas line. His response was the gas lines dont need to be to tight. Well, they need to be tight enough so as not to cause a gas leak. I got out out a crescent wrench and started to check the tightness of all the gas lines. The first one and second one were ok, but the third one was lose. This is the one that feeds the burner. It took about one whole turn before it started to get tight. After I tighten it up, no more leaks. Usually I do this kind of work myself, but the water heater was under warranty. I did not have to pay for the thermostat but I did have to pay 250.00 dollars for a substandard and dangerous install. The last thing a person wants is leaking natural gas in your garage or anywhere else. I called Goodson plumbing and talked to the receptionist? and she was very understanding and apologetic. She said she would talk to the technician and the owner, Rob, about this. Never heard anything from Rob. One would think that because of the serious nature of this, a gas leak from using the wrong tool to tighten a gas line and causing a gas leak, that the the owner, Rob, would have called me and let me know that he has talked to the technician about using the right tools for the job and this would never happen again. And maybe a partial refund of the installation since I had to finish the job.

They told me the new leak was 'a valve' which wasn't included in the price and would be an additional $1500. I contacted another plumber who told me that it appears Goodson broke a fitting on the tub drain which made difficult/impossible to remove so that it had to be cut out. He believes this also caused a leak on the old drain which appeared to have been siliconed by Goodson. Goodson didn't complete their work, cut corners, and I had to pay another plumber $650 to cut out the leaking, damaged, and siliconed section of drain and replace it. I also learned that the water lines were not entirely replaced. They left old sections where they were more difficult to replace so I will be paying to replace those sections later. I had wondered why they were able to do such a big job in such a short time, but now it makes sense. In response to Goodson comment. They also did not replace all of the galvanized water piping as they agreed in writing or claimed to have done in this post. They only replaced the sections which were convenient for their plumbing tech. I have photos and statements from other plumbers to back this up. The section of drain that is leaking was in fact a section that Goodson worked on. The reason it's leaking is that they replaced the entire drain except for the last foot connecting to the tub. The work they did was good, however they didn't do what they stated verbally or in writing, nor did they honor their work. I think the tech was in a hurry and they had a flat fee so they were trying to maximize profit rather than do the job right. I agree they did not agree to replace the main water line or the sewer line.
