We picked up music lessons during Covid, and we're so happy with the experience at Roos! My kiddos now truly love music. My son plays drums, and my daughter started playing the piano, but later switched to voice. The studio is great about offering opportunities to try a different instrument if your kiddo (or you) loves music, but isn't sure which instrument to learn. The studio offers a professional environment, and the students receive binders with new materials to practice songs they want to learn. read more

We love Roos! My four kids have taken piano and cello there and all the instructors are great. They are patient with the kids, so encouraging and positive and really have taught them a lot. Liz, the owner is great about letting the kids try other classes (drums, voice, etc) if they have cancellations so I really feel like the kids are getting exposed to all different instruments and aspects of music. They also do their best to really get the kids playing songs they are interested in and want to play as opposed to forcing drills and boring piano books (how I was taught). They are good with all ages (my youngest started when she was 4) and I've even seen adults do lessons there. Overall five stars to an awesome business! read more

My 11 year old son has loved taking piano lessons at Roos Music with Casi for the past year! The owners and instructors are all so passionate about music, love kids (and adults) and make learning FUN for their students. They let them select music they are interested in, have an optional recital they can participate in, and let them try other instruments as well. The owner, Liz, communicates very effectively and is always very responsive; she works with our busy schedules and there is not a long term commitment required in case your child wants to pursue other interests or take a break. Love Roos Music! I take guitar lessons with Josh, he's very supportive and an amazing guitarist. He made understanding Music Theory a lot easier than I thought allowing me write my own songs even as a beginner. I can't say enough about Roos Music. My son started lessons with them over 4 years ago and loves it. Liz and Josh are both so good at what they do. They have a passion for music as well as a passion for teaching and it shows. I know a big part of my son's love for music has come from working with Liz on piano. We love this place and the Roos family! The studio is beautiful, but most importantly the staff are incredibly talented teachers. They are patient and kind with our young beginners. What I love most is that they are not just teaching the skills, but a love for playing music. They let the kids choose songs that they love to learn as well as teaching the classical pieces.
