We visited this store today. They had a great selection of furniture at good prices. However, no one offered to help us except the lady who only did the kids room area. However, we needed several other pieces of furniture for other rooms and there were a lot of sales people around but no one aknowledged us. We left and went to Ashley furniture and bought all our furniture there. Customer service needs to be improved at this location. read more

I went in to purchase a living room set and was assisted by Ivan who was very friendly. He did not chase us around like some sales people do, he gave us space and checked on us as needed. While purchasing the set, he was approached by a female salesperson who started cursing at him for disposing another shoppers personal paperwork that she had printed earlier. Anyone could have grabbed that paperwork that contained someone's personal information on it had he not have found it first. Glad to see he took the initiative to protect someone's information. He remained calm and apologized to us for her behavior. Very professional!!!! On our way out we were greeted by Christopher who helped us decide on getting our son a chair for gaming. Ordered one bedroom suit that was supposed to be delivered April 1st. I flew from Texas to Georgia only to find out it couldn't be delivered until the 6th. I finally received it on the 9th. After delivery I noticed the furniture leaving stains on my carpets and walls, the furniture was crooked, and the mattress was messed up it is lumpy and one corner is crushed. Called to get a refund but decided just to exchange it all for a new bedroom suit and mattress. They bring the bedroom suit but not the mattress. Called about that and they said they never had the mattress in the notes. I first called Robert Manns the store manager in Macon that was helping us with our exchange to see if he could help with the mattress, and was told that he emailed the Midland store everything for the exchange and that the mattress replacement was part of that. I have been trying to get a hold of people to get this resolved and I just keep getting transferred or they say they will call me back but they never do. read more

I was furious. Two calls later 15 minutes wait on both I was told the driver never even came to door. Phone call busy signal. What mobile gives busy???? No doorbell. No nothing. They gave my furniture to someone else and offered another two week window. Told them to cancel my order and I would never do business again. They told me refund would be 80%. Whaaat? For what?? Called this rooms to go to see if there was a certain sofa that I had seen a few months ago at a different store. Got put on hold for a few minutes and then answered. I told the sales person what I was looking for and that the item I was looking for was "discontinued" on their website and that I wasn't too happy about this. He told me he would check to see if the sofa was at their location and would "call me back by end of day" hours pass and no call back. I'm angry at one the fact that the sofa I fell in love with is "discontinued" and that the salesmen obviously doesn't want to make a sale by calling me back. This is a very easy way to make me mad, and they will hear it from me tomorrow. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. My mother and sister went in about two weeks ago to look at beds for our guest room. When they walked in, a salesperson asked how he could help and when they asked to see full size beds, he said they didn't have any. After that, he insisted queen size beds were the same price and when they explained that a queen wouldn't fit in the guest room, he still insisted there were none. My sister then said ok we will just go somewhere else and annoyed, he waved towards the back of the store and said "Well, ill tell you what, go ahead and go back there and you might find what you are looking for." Its like, once he felt he couldn't make the sale he was willing to point us in the right direction. Once back there, the manager of the kids section disregarded us and a salesperson came over to help. We explained what we wanted, and he took us over the trundle beds, we picked one out, and then he showed us the mattresses that we could choose from. We saw a few, and ultimately chose a better mattress and got a good deal since it was a buy one get one free. So far, everything was going good. once translation was needed in order for my mom to understand what we were purchasing, then the manager came over and was nicer. The sales person told my sister the mattress covers would only be $40 each but charged us $70 each, and added the warranties without explaining we would be charged for them. Since we found what we were looking for, and it was promised to be delivered within the needed timeframe, we didn't pay much attention to the bill. However, the furniture was delivered today and the bottom mattress that slides into the trundle was too tall so the bed doesn't slide in. Of course, this is a problem, and so I immediately called customer service who transferred me to the salesperson, because they said he should be able to help exchange them. The mattresses that he helped us choose for the bed didn't fit, so obviously the mistake was the stores, not ours right? I wanted them exchanged, and since we were gonna have to get a thinner mattress that was not as good quality, I wanted the price to be honored at the advertised sale price, and for the difference to be refunded to my mother. Again, I do not believe this was that big or that ludicrous of a request. Surprisingly, when I called the salesperson to tell him the issue, he informed me that since the Labor Day weekend was no longer happening, I could get the mattresses exchanged but I would pay full price for both and it would equal what i got the other higher quality mattresses for. That of course is not fair and did not make sense so I asked if there was anything I could do. He talked to his manager and passed me to him... and the experience was terrible! Right away he got defensive. As I was explaining what happened, he interrupted and said that they would be happy to help in anyway but there was no way I would get any money back. When I explained that it was HIS salespersons fault, he said that no, my mom chose the mattresses, and even got verbal confirmation from the salesperson that he didn't show her which mattress to choose. How in the world are we going to know if the mattress would be too tall for the trundle bed or not?!? That is what salespeople are for! When I told him that, he got angry and said that he was trying to help but that it was not their fault. When I explained again my frustration in there price difference and in the fact that he wouldn't take ownership of the problem, he interrupted me and said OH MY GOD. He literally said that. He straight out said I could not get my money back, but I could get a store credit for the difference of price in the mattresses, but would not be getting any money back. It was a frustrating experience all in all, and I will never go back to this store. The manager promised to call me back today to see if they could just pick up the incorrect size mattresses and exchange them without us going into the dreadful store again, but he never called. Todays is 1 month later and the delivery no have even the track number because the vendor no report that. In customers service any associate know a certainly answer, I called they 3 time. HORRIBLE STORE and STORE MANAGEMENT!!! After spending 2 hours driving and several hours in the store - we purchased a sectional in the store instead of online because we were told if there were problems they would help us! NO WAY! We are having trouble!!!! The corner piece has been delivered 3 times RIPPED & BROKEN! The first delivery guys left with the connectors - saying there weren't any but what is now installed (after the 3rd delivery guys came) is not a good design. The pieces still wiggle around. Now we will be unable to go out of town for the 4th Saturday in a row so they can deliver ANOTHER corner piece!!!! Also, the Midland store management refuses refund our money! They also will not give us the $150 refund due to us for the price reduction even though it is within 60 days. They will on give us an IN STORE CREDIT! I live 2 hours from there! I WILL NOT EVER STEP FOOT IN THAT STORE! or any other Rooms To Go! MOST IMPORTANTLY - Beware - it is not quality furniture although we bought one of the most expensive sectionals... read more

We ordered a bedroom suite. It was to be delivered within 6 weeks. Before the delivery we found out we were moving. So I called to cancel the delivery only to be delivered on different date and location. Plus rooms to go called to confirm the cancellation. one Saturday I was returning home from work. I see the rooms to go truck in my driveway. They already unloaded the merchandise. I told them the situation and they assured me they would be able to assemble the suite once we moved. Now I called to confirm. Manager Bryan said they would NOT honor their commitment. Very upsetting. We will not be back for any kind of repeat business. I hope corporate knows about this too. read more

I would have to say the only thing this store has going for them is prices. We found a sectional we were very happy with, and once we decided to move forward with the purchase were informed the sectional had been discontinued. With this, we were told in order to purchase this sectional we had to buy the entire room model, increasing our bill over another $500. We decided it was still a decent deal for the price. So we moved forward with the purchase. We were then told we had to come back Monday evening as they would not disassemble models on the weekend. But were assured everything would be packaged and ready to go Monday evening. My husband showed up about 530 Monday night to pickup. The model had not even been pulled off the floor and he had to sit and wait about an hour. while they packaged things up. I will not be back to purchase from rooms to go again. Customer service was far from adequate in my opinion. This is a company that doesn't seem to care much about pleasing their customers. read more

If I could give them ZERO starts I would. We purchased a leather sectional and the sorry excuse of a warranty less than a year ago. The leather has began to fade in areas; but is NOT covered under manufacturer warranty nor the warranty we purchased. After going round and round with customer service, our original sales person, and the current manager (because they never seem to have the same one) they have deemed it to be "normal wear". I call BS on this being that this sectional is only used occasionally when we have company at our home. I would never recommend Rooms To Go to any acquaintance for the lack of furniture quality and customer service on all spectrums of the company. The salesman (Russell) passed me off the manager (Ed) instead of taking the initiative to make things right with his customer; of which has spent over $10K with him.
