Jennifer, one of the owners just happened to be our sales associate. She is very good at what she does! Knowledgeable, and quick to share important information about the products. When the furniture was delivered we were stunned by the professionalism the movers showed. They were incredibly polite and were able to set up everything exactly the way we needed everything to go. This store was well stocked and we ended up buying a mattress and frame as well as a chair. Our sales rep gave us sheets and a mattress protector. The owner hires young adults recovering from serious addiction, giving them a second chance in life. I loved hearing their personal stories and the pride they have in their jobs and new lives showed. Haverty's unfortunately stands out as the worst stop of all solely because of the persistence and nagging of their salespeople. I made the mistake of giving one of them my phone number after showing strong interest in one of their couches, that person then continued to call me on weeknights, weekends and holidays for the next several months asking if I was going to buy the couch. It was a car salesman to the extreme. I went back last week and unfortunately got the same pushy sales approach from a different salesman. Tip for Management - allow your sales team to greet the customer and check in once or twice but let the customer have some freedom. If I ever buy from Haverty's it will be online. I won't return to your storefront.

We recently purchased our dining room table from Furniture Row…read more I found the table online that I liked and wanted to see it in person before buying it. Bonus, it was on sale $100 off!! The showroom was quite expansive. I liked seeing other items they had. The staff, while friendly, seemed very pushy about having me sign up for their credit line. While taking my children to the restroom, I came back to her having the paperwork already out. I told her I planned to just pay for the table that day and she was like, "But this has no interest and you can pay over a number of months." Ummmm... but I have the money to just pay for it now, so... that's what I want to do. It was kind of strange, she asked me like 4 times. Maybe they get a bonus for the # of credit lines they open??? After ordering the table, I was told that it would be about 2 weeks before it came in and that I would get a call to schedule delivery. 2 weeks came and went and I never heard anything so I gave them a call. They said the table was in and we could schedule the delivery. (Awesome! But why didn't I get a call??? They claimed they called 2x the day prior but the phone just kept ringing. Hmmm...) Delivery was scheduled a few days out (unfortunately couldn't do it sooner... because I was REALLY getting sick of eating on a fold out card table.) Delivery went smooth! 2 delivery guys were able to set up my table in no time! And the best part... I ABSOLUTELY LOVE MY NEW TABLE! Like, REALLY LOVE IT! (Chairs I bought from Amazon).

I used to love coming here as a little girl with my mom because she knew I would never touch anything breakable. Lol. They still have a lovely store all decorated for Christmas as of November 16, 2024. We were immediately greeted by Celina. What an interesting spelling of her name, right? She assisted me with questions about a twin-size bed for my daughter. She gave me her card and took my information as well. Since we are in the month of November, I'm grateful for Miller-Waldrop for a few reasons: 1) My brother bought me a bed from here when I first moved back to New Mexico. It is still so comfortable. I know it was high end, but it was so worth it. 2) The salespeople are not pushy, but they will check in on you from time to time. 3) They offer unique pieces like this coffee table that I love, love, love... it's like a tree stump... not symmetrical.
