Came here to pick up a small dresser. As you pull in there is a guard who will ask for your receipt so make sure you bring it with you or you wont be able to enter the compound. As you drive around the back of the place there are about 4 bay doors in which after you show your ID to the gentleman in the office he will direct you to pull into one of them. From there after about 5-7 minutes our item came to us and we left. It was short, sweet, and to the point. We were out of there in roughly 15 minutes. read more

We purchased a Stearns and Foster mattress last year. I HAD TO PAY A DELIVERY FEE. One year later the mattress is sagging. RTG has agreed to replace the mattress. I went to pick out a new mattress today. When finalizing the sale I noticed there is a DELIVERY FEE. Keep looking at invoice and the are charging me a PICK UP FEE to remove their defective mattress. I'll start with the major headlines. They have up regular price signs and tell you it's the sale price until you look it up and show them. Then they smile and say oh! (the one in Duluth has the right prices up), then they tell you that everything is in stock and try to switch it at the last minute (the one in Duluth asks your zip code, checks and gives accurate info). I asked to speak to the manager Kevin because of the many questions I still had and he refused to come speak with me. Instead he sat down with 8 other employees and told the worker to tell me that corp was closed but never bothered to see why I asked for his assistance, clearly someone was wrong. As I was leaving I asked for the corp #, and still sitting he said he would have come talk to me but no one told him. I turned and asked his employee did she tell him and she said yes. As we turned to leave he started talking about me to his team so I politely addressed his unprofessionalism. Mercy, a cuban lady, helped us through all we needed. From applying for their credit card to choosing the right colors, and models. She was absolutely great, would totally recommend her. We bought a new living room set, and a new dining room set. Prices and quality are great. All sofas came with complementary throw pillows, and lamps as well. Delivery only took a week. So 4 years later, and a new HUGE location on the other side of 85 from the mall, Rooms to Go has a new store and its open and going well! I went in yesterday with my son and looked around to find a new living room I need and we spent good time looking around until I found what I thought was my top pick of a full living room. We probably sat on 20 couches and chairs before the first sales person approached us- hmmm- but we told them we were just looking today and it was near closing so today was the big day. Today, it was time to decide what I wanted and what I wanted was at Rooms to Go. I've been sold on their products and quality now for some time and I like the whole picture- seeing a living room set up with what I like, that has matching tables, lamps, rugs etc- I'll buy the entire set up! Its easier for me (Single father ) and my sons nod of ok will do. We got there around 3 today and after a great mission to Best Buy ( look for that review)- I wanted to be sure that I got the right sales person, knew their stuff, and I would most likely spend thousands. Boy was God with me today!!!! Walked in the door and a tall sharp guy was headed straight for us so we elbow bumped ( pc), I introduced my self and told him Im looking to buy furniture today, I need someone that knows this store, knows their stuff and can get us in and out - are you that person! No hesitation, introduced himself- Dereck- he said show me what you saw and lets get going. Dereck was the perfect sales person I needed. We went to what I saw- lots of debates on leather vs others looking like leather, fabric- but I was assured what I liked was durable and a favorite so felt good moving to the next step. It was listed as a set-tables, couch, loveseat- had to make an adjustment on the loveseat ( they advertise one - have out the higher priced one- but I saw that so was expecting)- then I wanted different tables, looked around, the ones with the set were fine so ended up getting the tables, couches and lamps all the way they set it up. Dereck then helped my son find and entertainment center in our budget- found the perfect one in less than a few minutes in this behemoth of a store and then we started on art work. We actually had fun looking around at odd things, finding what we wanted, the whole time he was writing up skews and keeping a running tab so when we said we were done- he was ready to write it up. It was an all buy up front sale, he warned us like most should know- it takes 8-12 weeks in most cases to get furniture in so I didn't shy away when he said it would be this amount of time. I have furniture- this is new. People need to realize as well that large places like this cannot always sell floor samples then people like me can't come in and try it out and buy it. When spending $5K or more on furniture, you need samples but with COVID know, many parts coming from China- don't be surprised- it takes time so we were good. He wrote it up, we got the warranty as well (spills, any damage) spent just shy of an hour and I was a happy camper!!! Thanks Dereck for the best sales job and service I could have received, thanks RTG for having the product I needed and for getting great talent like Dereck to help. Very happy, highly recommend you check out the huge store over by Top Golf and know when you go in, many items -major items not art- are custom made when ordered and take time. Horrible Experience! 1. Told me I was getting 60 month interest free financing. When I left the store and was emailed the paperwork, they gave me 24 month financing 2. When we were checking out and ready to pay, the sales rep said "give me one minute" and disappeared for 30 minutes until we walked all over the whole store to find him 3. Same sales associate added on $300 in warranties without me asking 4. On delivery, the guys said 1 part of the sectional wouldn't fit in my elevator and their policy is that they're only supposed to carry stuff up 3 flights of stairs. Told me if I wanted my couch carried up 4 flights of stairs, I'd have to pay them $200. Absolutely insane but they gave me no choice. $200 to walk up 10 more steps. We have been buying our mattresses from RTG for 20 years. This year, for the 1st time, we're told the truck was too full to cart away the old mattress when the new one was delivered. After calling and scheduling pickups that never happened for 8 weeks, I was told today that the service manager refused to pick up because of stains. My issue is that no one even looked at the mattress, it had been moved from the bedroom before the delivery. It has had a mattress cover on it since it was initially set up! There aren't any stains. DO NOT BUY THEIR COUCHES - we have had our couch for less than a year (May 2022, after filing a claim and returning a different couch from them where the cushions completely sunk in) and the entire couch is pilling. They are not replacing it OR even giving us new cushions. We had to replace the chase in September 2022 for a different reason and even that is pilling! We are only on the couch for a few hours at night due to working all day so it's not because of "over use." It's also NOT comfortable at all! When we called this morning after having a service tech come out last week to make a report for our claim, the woman from the "corporate office" said that they decided it's not a "manufacturer defect" and not covered under any warranty... and yes, we go the extra protection plan that all sales people at Rooms to Go say will cover anything!! The shopping part of the process was enjoyable at the store. The issue was the follow-up on delivering the furniture. They took the full payment for the purchase with no problems. They emailed the day before confirming delivery with a time. We began to feel concerned when it was past delivery time, and there was no notification. We called, and they said there was no delivery because they could not verify the payment. The payment was accepted, but they did not call to verify any information. They said they must have had the wrong number or email but were able to email the delivery the day before. The records showed no attempt to verify any information for the delivery. After acceptance, they said the furniture could not be delivered until October. There were no qualms about taking the payment, but no follow-up on ensuring product delivery. The Rooms to Go team did not attempt to rectify this in any manner and passively approached the situation as if no wrong had been committed. It took requesting to cancel the order for them to "try and look for another date closer." read more

Do no f...ink buy from this Rooms to Go, or at least pay attention to the receipt. First I supposedly bought a bed with a night stand an its mattress, another bed with 2 night stand and its mattress, and a sofa. One bed and all night stand and sofa were ready to pick up within 3 days. Well the other bed will be ready in one month so we chose delivery. When we when to pick up we realize that we paid around $8,000 and no sofa was included, it was only 2 beds frame, 2 mattress and night stand. And after a month waiting for one of the bed, Ruben our sale agent didn't even set the f....ink bed for delivery it was supposedly for pick up. Ohh and not only that, we were paying attention to what he was o wasn't including, but they just turn the screen to the side where we can't see and then proceed to to add guardians guarantee that we didn't ask for. read more

I called in to buy 2 lamps. The sales rep told me it was free delivery and to choose "doorway delivery" to have it dropped off at the door. While Im a work I get a voicemail saying they left and didnt leave the lamps. Said a signature was required. So I call the store, and they say I have to pick them up at a warehouse. I asked for a refund and they said I'd have to come in person to do that. Whatever so I go to get the lamps. They gave me the wrong freaking address. When I finally find where Im supposed to go, its locked down like a military base. A security guard wrote down my license plate #, the people at the desk scanned my ID (required) then I waited 20 mins for 2 lamps to get picked and brought to a loading dock. DO NOT SHOP HERE. I ordered a sectional and a dinning room set here a few weeks ago, paid everything in full. The sectional and table was scheduled to be delivered today, we received all of the confirmations and even the delivery time. 12 hours ago we receive a call that they don't have a couch for us in the united states, that we should look for a new couch. With 12 hours notice I had already taken the day off work and hired a crew to bring my furniture up stairs and assemble it. I had ordered a coffee table and entire room of furniture to match this couch. I had to pay this crew because I couldn't cancel without 24 hours notice. Kevin McVann is the store manager for this location, when we told him what was happening he told us this was our problem since we ordered furniture. That there is ABSOLUTELY nothing he could do. Kevin comes across very intimidating, I was physically shaking as he was telling me this. No offer of a refund, no we'll assistance towards another couch. Their supply problem is on us. I would NEVER shop at this location again. I now have no couch or dinning set and am out over $2,400 plus taking days of work, the other furniture that was measured to fit with this specific sectional and the crew that was moving all of my furniture. Customer Care told me that if Kevin wanted to he has the authority to assist us to fix this mistake, but he chose not to. He already has our money. My wife and I spent thousands of dollars at Rooms to Go on 2 children's furniture bed sets and when the sales person gave us a date for delivery 11/23/20 we booked our flight based around that as we were moving to another state. Then last minute(less than a week before) Rooms to Go changed the delivery dates to 11/25/20 which caused us to have to change our flights at the last minute costing us hundreds of dollars with little to no effort/resolution from Rooms to Go to accommodate us other than "I'm sorry." Then when they finally did deliver furniture(which was for are two young children 4/6 who were already having difficulty adjusting to a new home and state) the delivery workers assembling it said our daughters bed was defective and could not be assembled.. not only that but that they would have to leave all the large un-assembled pieces there at our apartment including the defective piece if they were to let us keep the mattress.. which we needed of course for our daughter(4yo) to at least sleep on the floor on.. Once again Rooms to Go corporate offered no resolution or even any sympathy to the fact that, because of their multiple mistakes, our 4 year old daughter (who was already having trouble adjusting) would have to sleep on a mattress on the floor for at least 2 WEEKS! Despite our best efforts pleading and complaining to corporate they said the earliest they could deliver our daughters bed was 12/08/20.. even though we had spent thousands of dollars on furniture and have now been majorly inconvenienced multiple times because of their mistakes.. Again all they could do is say "I'm sorry".. So for two weeks we had to explain to our 4 year old daughter(in a new home and unfamiliar state) that her bed was coming soon that she only had to sleep on the floor for now.. If that was all that happened this would be bad enough. However then came 12/08/20 our much anticipated delivery date for our daughters bed.. At this point we had made multiple calls to ensure the furniture was being delivered on the correct date and that it was intact and not defective.. we had also received multiple confirmations of our delivery time window during that time which was; 12/08/20 between 8AM and 12PM and that we were the 3rd stop on the list that morning.. including at 6:31AM that morning confirming between 8AM and 12PM once again.. then while both my children were still sleeping in their room at about 7:10AM we get a text from Rooms to Go stating that the delivery workers were 5 minutes away.. at which point they call my wife's phone as the order was placed under her name and number.. She was at work at the time however she still answered and confirmed that I (her husband) was home, able to accept the delivery and to just knock on the door.. she also gave them my phone number just in case.. so as I was getting our children up and dressed, at 7:42AM my phone rings twice and the call ends before I could answer.. I CALL IMMEDIATELY BACK.. and get an automated response saying that the Rooms to Go office is closed and doesn't open until 8AM.. at no point was there ever a knock on the door or a second phone call despite my wife already confirming. At 8AM ON THE DOT I call back again and the lady at corporate tells me that the drivers had delivery listed as "Unsuccessful" and, despite explaining the situation in it's entirety and pleading with corporate once again, that they were unable to come back to deliver our daughters bed until 12/23/20 which was the earliest reschedule date. To which I said "We are going to be out of town for the holidays that date and this is unacceptable! I was here awaiting the delivery and they need to come back! We will not have our 4yo daughter sleep on the FLOOR for another 2-3 weeks because of this companies multiple mistakes and incompetence!" To which the lady from corporate said "I'm sorry". And when I asked to speak to a higher up to try to make an exception she says "they will only tell you the same thing, sorry!" And refused to connect me with anyone else.. Followed by a very sarcastic "Thank you for shopping with Rooms to Go, bye!" Online the delivery dispatcher/drivers lied and said they were unable to contact us(despite speaking to my wife who confirmed I was home and able to accept delivery) and said they knocked at 8:49AM which they did not as I was already on phone with corporate at that time while standing right outside my front door with no one to be seen.. This whole situation has been traumatic for our 4yo daughter who still has no bed and has been a disgusting lack of professionalism, empathy and accountability displayed by Rooms to Go. Easily the worst company we could ever possibly imagine and we will not only certainly not do business with them ever again but will go out of our way to spread the word to people to save themselves the money and the trouble and to never became a consumer of there's in any way, shape or form. read more

My 74 year old mother lives alone. We purchased a couple of sofas from this location on 9/3. They weren't available and were expected 10/8. Fine, supply and all. We waited for the confirmation of the date before we scheduled for the removal of the old furniture, so we could minimize the amount of time she didn't have anywhere to sit. Confirmation came for the delivery to occur on 10/8, so we scheduled the removal for 10/7. 10/8 comes and my 74 year old mother missed the call because she needed to use the bathroom. She began calling the missed number several times starting within 4 minutes of the missed call. She was not able to get anyone to pick up the phone, so she called customer service. After having to talk to 3 representatives she was told they were unable to contact the delivery truck and she would have to wait a couple days to reschedule the delivery. Ok. This isn't awesome, but surely they would rush this delivery for her. Nope. The earliest they can now deliver is 10/20. She asked for an earlier date because of her circumstances of the missed call and almost immediate call back AND not having any furniture to sit on. They offered her 10/22 if she didn't want 10/20.... yeah... 2 days later. Was that a joke? So, anyways, my 74 year old mother now has to sit on the hardwood floor with a folded up blanket for comfort. Cool. read more

I entered the store with my senior citizen mother that was excited to purchase a new sectional couch and was racially profiled by the sales agent upon entry. We arrived first , however the sales agent decided to greet a white female customer instead and ignore us! Little did he know - my mom was a cash buyer and had previously decided to purchase this item for her home. She was racially profiled.
