Obviously, Lisa and her team did a fantastic job with the landscaping. She presented me with three different design options, worked with me to stay within my budget, and then executed the project exactly as she explained she would. She even moved my project up on the schedule after I mentioned I was planning to sell my house soon, which I really appreciated. What really stood out, though, wasn't just the quality of the work, it was the communication. It was clear, transparent, and consistent before, during, and even after the project. That level of professionalism is surprisingly rare in the home improvement industry. I own a house that was built in 1887, and over the past eight years I've hired countless companies for projects including a new deck, porch, fencing, painting, paver installation, and just about everything else you can think of. One of the most frustrating parts of working with companies in this industry is the lack of organization and communication. They're usually quick to collect the deposit, but after that you're left constantly following up for project start dates, updates, and progress. Working with Lisa was the complete opposite. She was organized, proactive, and always kept me informed. It was honestly refreshing. Carol's design was pretty and will be low maintenance as requested. Carol has her own crew and who built a very large planter of pavers, installed a cedar fence, prepared the soil and planted the flowers and shrubs. Carol is easy to work with and we were able to go back and forth with her to make a few design changes. Pricing was reasonable, and the crew came back to fix a leaning plant with ten days of my request. This was the first time I used a professional landscaper and initially I was surprised at how small the plants were once installed. However, I am now pleasantly surprised at how quickly the plants are growing and filling in. I would recommend working with Carol over the winter so you can get to the front of the line and have the work done early in the summer if possible. We first contacted Carol in very late spring, signed in June, and the work was done in early August. The entire project took a week.

One tree was planted on a complete angle and is growing pushed against the fence. Carol promised to come to my house to evaluate the problems on two different occasions and never came or called. I have texted her this week with no response. I paid 5 figures for a this job and am amazed that she refuses to follow up on customer concerns and dissatisfaction. I felt it was necessary to warn potential buyers that they didn't yet have the experience to know that this mistake could happen (which I'm sure they do now), and that they initially pushed the blame on us. When I pushed back, they agreed to fix it, but when things got too tough, they gave up and stopped responding. Even though we like the owner and wish everyone well, we were very unhappy with the result.
