I took one look at their beautiful work on their roof and told them to give me his contact info. Once Chris called me back he made the process a no stress process. He even helped with choice color by suggesting colors and was very patient when it took us forever to pick a color. We were so excited to get a new roof and him and his team did not disappoint the day of install. They even helped putting a new roof on my shed as well. He was great at keeping in touch and great for returning our phone calls and very patient with all of our questions and concerns. They came came out on a weekend and did the work quick and to my satisfaction. Avoid the big companies like Hanson and go to the small guy, for one you will save a ton of money, but also will be helping out a small business owner, that is for one more responsive but also appreciates his customers more. He put a sign in our yard after the job was completed and the sign reads, Efficient and Affordable. I couldn't agree more. We called several people to come and do an estimate before we decided on if we could afford a new roof. Some of the contractors did not return our call, or did not show up when they said they would. We had another estimate that was $20,000 more than the Pedersen estimate. Unbelievably outrageous! That person spent three hours here trying to convince us we why should pay that much. Shawn had a great warranty. He was very straightforward. He came here and simply gave an estimate; he was not pushy at all. He was great to deal with, his workers were very polite, and generally cleaned up. Shawn came here personally at the end and he made sure all the screws from our original roof were cleaned around the yard with a magnet. We had an issue with our previous roof leaking in an area and we've had one rain since it was completed and no leaks! I would definitely recommend considering him if you were looking at getting some estimates because he shows up when he says he will. And then, I wouldn't be surprised if you end up choosing him after (if) you hear from everyone else.

It's been two years since Counts Remodel and Design did the vinyl siding on my home. My first…read morereview of CRD wasn't kind to them, and neither will this one. Last winter, I came out of my home to discover a large section of siding was blown off the side of my house. In the middle of a snowstorm, I had to get up on a ladder and push it back into place. That's when I noticed gaps in several sections of my siding where one section did not butt up to the next. I can't find a single section of the siding that is properly overlapped, as it should be to compensate for expansion and contraction during different weather situations. Two weeks ago, I was sitting in my living room when I heard what I thought was a bird flying into my front window. I didn't think anything of it until the following day when I pulled into my driveway and noticed the top piece of siding had literally fallen off my home, and was now laying in my bushes. Up on a ladder again! After replacing it, the same panel fell off again two days ago. I suspect this will be an ongoing issue for as long as I own this home. Over the course of the past two years, I've noticed so many shortcuts, so many horrible edges, so many flaws in my siding. I would never, ever recommend this company to come within a mile of your home!
