They were highly knowledgeable, incredibly skilled, and worked tirelessly to handle a complete tear-off and a brand-new installation.They even added vital intake vents that my historic home previously lacked. Manager and co-owner Mike Mahin was wonderful in explaining the process, while Kevin and Travis did a fantastic job overseeing the site and answering my questions. The roofing crew completed this massive job in just one and a half days, and their cleanup was flawless. I love my new roof and am so grateful to the crew for their incredible hard work!

My elderly mother has been strung along for over 5 months since paying a 50% deposit in May. She…read morehired them to fix a big hole in her roof after a storm knocked a tree into the roof. It seems they take advantage of those who are older and perhaps more trusting. Each time she calls them they promise to call her back later that week with a start date. This has been happening for months. Meanwhile there is a huge gaping hole in her roof as winter approaches. Empty promises to complete a job won't keep her warm and dry in the cold northern Ohio winter. I only wish she had pulled me into the process sooner - there is a similar review about them struggling along another older customer. I would have told her to run and find someone else. We just had our entire roof replaced and received 5 estimates. All of them said they would be able to start work within a month. We ended up going with a company that fit us in within three weeks and did an excellent job and was very responsive. Sadly this has not been the case with J&R. Unfortunately, my brother and I are now seriously looking into taking formal action to find resolution as it's been over 5 months and still no work completed. I will update this review should things change. Update: after this review, the company did come out and complete the work and explained why they were delayed.

I met with Brett Gilts and Chad Rock about concrete work in our newly built home . To make an…read moreextremely LOOONG story short , my excitement of finally having what i thought was going to be a great experience with quality work quickly turned into my worst experience . My concrete patio is awful . The cuts they say were done with a dull blade that was not their fault . Which caused it to chip and break the concrete . They never even told me . They just pretended it looked amazing . The caulking between the concrete and house looks like my special needs daughter did it . The side walk , they ran into with their bob cat and broke a chunk out of it in two places . One of the cuts on the side walk they cut in the wrong spot so they filled it in . Like i would not notice . They did some concrete steps on the patio and the top step also has a chunk out of it by the edge . They left me a pile of the excess concrete . I had a pile of stone from another contractor doing other work and they just took it upon themselves to level out that pile. They didn't have permission to do so and they leveled the stone out where we need to plant grass . I have text messages from Brett admitting the job was not a professional job . His partner Chad talked very personal and had me convinced he had went to Tennessee to find out options about brain cancer he has . This was after his poor concrete work ! How you tell someone that and it not be true is pretty messed up !! I am out a lot of money because is these guys . They lie and lie and lie ! I told Brett both him and Chad needed to be introduced to the truth because neither seemed to know what the truth was . Do yourself a favor and don't let these guys near anything you need done. They don't care about you ! They will say anything to get your money and pretend they know what they are doing. Save yourself the headache and the money !!! I do think as bad has it is I may have a decent court case .

Worst experience and a HUGE mistake. He leaves a mess and cuts corners. Big promises to come back and repair his errors but a no show. Go with your gut feeling. You don't know who's working with him. I didn't have alot of money but he got paid immediately after...a big mistake.
