They were flexible with scheduling the quote time(I had a limited time window available). The person scheduled for the quote came in on time and seemed capable of answering most of my questions. I did end up going with another local company for two reasons: 1. Their quote came in a little above $4000 higher for the same work. 2. The other local company seemed more knowledgeable about Roofing and skylights, especially when it came down to the nuts and bolts of whether I needed to replace my skylights or not and some of the details about the trim. They could be a fine company to go with, for me weren't the right option. read more

i have used Roofer's Edge for several projects: roofs, windows, painting... Always priced right, and done quickly, and professionally. highly recommend. read more

We had a great experience with Roofers Edge. We have a super new roof, then new decks. Great carpentry from Manny and John. Thanks Kevin! read more

Kevin and his team made the whole process of replacing my roof easy. From the initial quote, to answering all my many questions, then scheduling and showing up on time and cleaning everything up. All went well and a great job! Roofers Edge provided a good value for our ranch home, I highly recommend! read more

Kevin is the best! Great work at a reasonable price. I've never seen anyones phone ring more than his.

This roofing business did a fine, thorough job, and completed the work rapidly once they began. This was essential because they required space in the driveway for materials and a dumpster, which were dropped off a day before. Starting early and working late, they erected scaffolding and completed the entire job in one day, cleaning up nearly perfectly after quitting. All to whom I spoke to were friendly and professional. Highly recommended! Barbara L read more

After discussing the future of replacing our roof, we spoke with many contractors and began very impressed with the owner of Roofer's Edge. Kevin came across as a true professional that shined. We elected to contract with Roofer's Edge and it was a win, win situation. The job was perfect read more

House we purchased in 2019 was built in 1998 & the architectural shingle was now 26 years old, their had been signgs of deteriorated shingles in spots as well as a cupola on the attached attached garage of the 2700 sq ft home that leaked water into a finished apart over the garage that needed to be removed. After receiving quotes for replacing the shingles from 3 local roofing contractors using commission sales people it was refreshing to be dealing with the actual owner of the company who came himself to do the necessary measurements, he took the time to carefully explain what as necessary for the job, after receiving a written detailed description of what was needed with a price that was more than competitive a contract for replacement of the shingles in the color and quality level of my choice & proposed date for the start of work was signed to do the job. The work was completed in only two days & the house and landscaping were left as clean as it had been prior to their work, no stone was left unturned, every piece of debris had been carefully put in the supplied dumpster that was also removed the next day. The new roof looks fantastic & we couldn't be happier with Roofers Edge's work. read more

Last fall we needed our roof replaced and wanted to hire local. After talking with the owner Kev, we figured he seemed like a genuine guy and assured us that his crew was neat and professional. His crew was timely, they showed up within a couple of days and finished the large job in 2 days. Unfortunately, they were neither neat or professional. It took me about 20 minutes of walking the edge of our house with a nail magnet (that I bought from Home Depot for cheap) to pick up roughly 100 roofing nails, both new and old. I see other roofing companies using industrial sized nail magnets to clean up after themselves so no one steps on a nail and puts it through their foot (particularly concerning given 3 small children in our house). For some reason their people don't use socks on their ladders or stabilizer bars, so they left dings and marks on our siding and gutters. I'd have let those go, if not for the other issue. Someone within their company hit and bent our wrought iron railing (which causes it to buckle in several places and compromised the concrete. Kevin acknowledged someone in his organization did the damage and they would fix it. I called Kevin 5 or 6 times and he continued to tell me they would deal with it, that was almost a year ago. The short of it is use another local roofer, Roofers Edge was unprofessional and dodged us when they caused damage. We would never recommend them to anyone in the future. read more

I do not think I would recommend this company considering yesterday was Juneteeth and we are trying to recognize all the minorities and under served communities, I has a trouble conversation with owners of this company. when I said that thier price seems a bit high, the Forman of the company said we are not like other companies that put a bunch of monkies on the back of the truck. I am pretty sure the owners sit home in their air conditioned house and send the same hard working people who they call monkeys to their jobs and makes millions. i don't care how good of Of price they have, I will never hire a company that call another human being a monkey. read more

Good communication with the owner and his son. Both responsive and easy to interact. Fair pricing and explanation of charges. Fast crew. The only minuses I could mention is that it was hard communicating with the crew, very limited English. And, I guess it's everyone's complaint, I was finding nails on my driveway and around the house for good 6 months after. Need to do a better catch and cleanup job. Tires don't like nails read more

I would not use this company. They came in and did the job very quickly and left a big mess. I picked up more than 50 nails on the patio. When asked to come clean up all the shingles left in an ivy bed, they never came. When there was a question about one of the roofs, I called every week for 6 consecutive weeks, they never came. I ended up hiring another roofer to look at the problem. The owner is a slick talker but there is no follow-up once the job is done. read more

We need a new roof after we moved into our house in Framingham. We kept seeing a lot of their yard signs and decided to call. I'm so glad I did. I spoke with Kevin, the owner, and he assured me that everything would be taken care of in neat, professional and timely manner. Finally, a man of his word! Everything was done exactly the way he said it would. I'd hire them again but roofs last over 20 years so I know I won't have to! read more

Some years ago we hired Roofers Edge to install some attic insulation (blown-in, specifically). This spring we hired them to re- side our house, replacing old, worn brown siding with a better quality vinyl (medium green). The crew did a great job, finished within a week and a half. We were very pleased with the work; so, when Kevin Blakeman of Roofers Edge offered us a great price to replace our roof (which we had planned to replace within the next couple of years, anyway), we jumped at it. A crew of seven removed the old roof and installed the new one within the day. The end result is that our neighbors went "Wow; love your house!" Kevin sent prospects by our house to see the work; and some friends of ours signed up with Roofers Edge and had their house re-sided last week. The company has been in business for a long time; knows the area and the houses.; has an excellent reputation. I recommend them highly. read more

Always reliable, taking care of our roofing and skylights with prompt, easy first class work.

UPDATED REVIEW three years later! I just spent $1800 to have the clapboards repaired. The clapboards he tore up when changing my roof shingles. Remember you are not hiring him, you are hiring his 15 guys! read more

The dumpster was picked up at 6am on a Friday morning of a heavily residential area, and it took them 45 minutes of the beeping and moving of the truck.. waking my whole house up... very unprofessional!! read more

Kevin, owner of Roofers Edge, is super responsive during the sales process but hard to reach after. The did fast work getting our new roof and gutter installed. Unfortunately they did not install the drip edge correctly. Instead of leaving a gap so the water drips into the gutter, it was installed tight against the fascia board. Every time it rains we get a significant amount of water coming in between the gutter and the fascia board and now have damage to the fascia and likely siding and other wood since the water is running down the house. I strongly recommend thinking twice before using Roofers Edge. read more

Kevin - Either you truly do not remember or you are "snowing" the people reading the yelp reviews. However connecting wires to the solar panels were in fact disconnected during your roof replacement. If you are having such a hard time remembering the customer, you can certainly speak to your friend at Eastern Solar to get a better recollection. Not response is needed at this time! read more

I called and spoke to the owner Kevin who sent in Ken right away. He was proffesional, upfront and provided a quote that was comparable to what we expected. I showed him a rebate coupon they had in the papers and even though my siding job is not big enough to qualify for the promotion, he prorated the size of the job and took off a few hundred dollars. That was good. However what impressed me most was Ken's attention to detail in making sure everything we discussed was documented. My fiance was so impressed she decided we use them so we signed the contract. The job should start in a week or two. I will write another review when it is completed. So far so good. Will O, Natick. read more

I'm already praying my neigh or doesn't hire this man. He parked in front of their home, too far from the sidewalk and I literally cannot back out of my driveway since he's blocking me. OK fine, I ask how long he's going to be, and instead of answering me asks when I'm leaving and tells me he will "keep an eye out for me so I can move my truck". Long and short I'm in my driveway, I hate confrontation so now I'm not going anywhere. The most inconsiderate and rude "professional" I've dealt with in a while. If he's like this arriving for an estimate, I can only imagine what is going to happen if they start work. read more

Kevin and his crew are great ! They are very professional, polite, know what they are doing. We recently hired Kevin ... for our re roof. His price was what you would expect , he is patient, polite, will listen to your needs, answer all your questions. Kevin will not try to up sell or scam you ! We strongly recommend Kevin for your roofing needs. CB. Natick, ma. read more

We had a serous leak due to ice dams this past winter. Unlike other contractors, Kevin, the owner, was hesitant to just rip out the old roof without properly determining the cause of the leak. After realizing the source of the issue he made so recommendations and gave me a vary fair estimate. The project was finished in one day and the final bill was very close was what we initially agreed upon. I'll be a returning customer. read more

I had them redo all of our gutters and downspouts and some fascia boards. I really like Kevin but after the job is done you are in your own. The installer was asking me my opinion about which way the downspouts should go!?! I am not an engineer nor a roofer. After contacting the owner Kevin several times to fix some things we were not happy with, and trying to make appointments, several times, he would always cancel. The gutters overflow even though we keep the debris totally clear. I finally hired a roofer this year and we will be spending a few more thousand dollars to correct the issues. Despite being a really nice guy, Kevin turned out to be very disappointing. Don't fall for the decent prices. You get what you pay for. read more

Had a 1pm appointment with Kevin for an estimate. At 1:15, still a no show, I call and he informs me that hes still 30 minutes away at another appointment. I get it that stuff happens, but why the 1 star: - I had called/spoken to him at 11AM to confirm the appointment - He insisted multiple times I be there in person for him to do the estimate. Me sprinting back home from work for the meeting contributes to the frustration read more

Ron B, the estimator came out on time and was friendly and efficient. Work crew for siding and gutter work were also friendly and cleaned up after the job was completed. So far, so good. We'll see how the downspouts hold up over the next few seasons. Kevin, the owner, could have been more timely in his communications and more proactive when the crew was delayed, although he admitted this and reduced the overall price of the work. read more

Kevin and his team did a great job replacing the roof on our home. They were able to fit us into their schedule on very short notice, and did most of the work in one day. The roofers were very conscientious about cleaning up after they were finished. Kevin is very responsive and knowledgeable, and worked with us to select the right products for our particular job. On top of all that, our new roof looks great! read more

This company was terrific from beginning to end of the process. They replaced our roof a few months ago and did a beautiful job. They were responsive, professional and thorough. The owner called a after the job to see if we were happy with everything. I highly recommend Roofers Edge and Siding and plan on using them again in the future (they also do replacement windows) read more

This rating is as good as it gets! I had a handful of contractors look at my (large) roof and their estimate was very competitive. However our meeting with the owner, Kevin Blakeman, sealed the deal. He was on time, personable, and very professional. When we wanted to see a specific color option (that wasn't in the book), Kevin had his foreman deliver a full package of the shingle so we could place pieces on and around the roof. Roofer's Edge delivered on time and exceeded our expectations. We counted 13 people the first day and they were done in two. Kevin and his team are a pleasure to deal with and we highly recommend them. read more

Kevin and his team redid our whole house, siding, gutters, windows, lights, paint, and doors. He is always available and communicates. The project took longer than expected but it was because we ordered custom doors and made changes which he was receptive about. His price for the job was quite reasonable and we were able to use cedar impression shakes for the whole house. Highly recommended. All his employees speak English and are very professional. So not sure what the other reviewer is talking about. They are quite skilled and competent. read more

Terrible job. Basically comes in with 10 unskilled workers and tries to complete everything within a day. Shingles were uneven and items listed in the contract he didn't complete. Can't talk to any of the workers as they don't speak any english. If there's a problem then Kevin comes by after its too late. Basically tries to convince you that's how it's supposed to be with all his experience. He doesn't know anything about laying shingles, just knows sales. Damaged downspouts and sides of the house. Didn't even fix. I called him repeatedly after and he acted as if we spoke for the first time. Do not hire unless you need a quick, cheaper and mediocre outcome. Perhaps for a rental property but not your main home. read more

Roofer's Edge and Siding replaced a bay window in my house. The window leaked from the moment it was installed. The owner told me that the window was fine but I needed new shielding, new roof, new gutters and more insulation in my attic. I did all of the above and the window still leaked. It leaked more at the end of each job. Finally I called Harvey Windows. They manufactured the window. They told me that the window was not installed properly and there was no flashing installed. Roofer's Edge and Siding never returned my calls. I called my own contractor. He leveled the window and put in flashing. The job took about an hour. It has not leaked since. The good news in this story is that I did not use Roofer's Edge and Siding for the shielding, roof, gutters or insulation. I will never use them again. read more

We couldn't have asked for a better experience than with Roofers Edge. Kevin was so easy to work with and was always available when we had questions. His crew was amazing...in and out in one day (we had a roof replaced), including a fantastic clean-up. I honestly can't say enough good things about the entire experience and would definitely recommend this company if you're in the market for this type of service. read more
