The "toss" heavy roof material leaving cracks in drywall and damage to your house, which they will not take responsibility for. Working with the owner was OK. I got 3 bids and Stewart roofing was the lowest but there is a catch that you'll need to consider. Stewart's bid doesn't include Ice and Water shield. It wasnt on the bid as an option either. The others did include it. When i inquired about this i was informed it wasn't necessary. I did some research and 99% of other companies i checked with said its important. Im scratching my head at this point. I had somewhat of a working relationship with Stewart (they did a previous repair which went great) so i took Richard's word cause of his longevity in the career. I asked a lot of questions and they finally gave a cost to do it which i should of accepted but thought it was too high so i didn't. Im a bit concerned about that but only time will tell. The roof seems fine for the most part. Im not an expert. The job went fine with a couple hiccups. I struggled with leaving a review considering my concerns but here i am. At that time, my low slope roof had material that required regular maintenance, which clashes with a set it and forget it guy like me. I received my comprehensive bid, that was much more through than other bids I received, if I even received them at all. When it came time to start the job, I met Camilo's brother Eduardo. Him and the crew did a great job, I again went up on the roof to see what they were doing and they were gracious with their knowledge and answering my questions. Included in this work were other roof related things, like skylights, insulation, and gutters. The bid included all those items that were handled by subcontractors, that shared Edca's meticulous attention to doing good work. This all took place in 2015 and I have watched the crew do 2 neighbors roofs, one last summer and one this week. It reminded me that I need to catch up on my Yelping. I'm on my roof regularly as my big trees like to drop debris seemingly year round and I can handle the maintenance of keeping the roof and gutters cleared. 8 years later, everything still looks great and torchdown materials I selected are performing as expected.

Cliff & his company were the subcontractors who installed roofing and the associated venting on a brand new home. My husband & I haven't lived here for more than two years, and mind you it was a new build, and we started experiencing leaks and had damaged dry wall at our top story. The general contractor suspected it was the work of Sharp Roofing so put us in contact with Cliff to complete the work since the roof is under warranty. Cliff and his company did an on site assessment which required a $300 deposit (one we were told would be refunded if Sharp was to not complete the work to fix the issue). Following the initial assessment, It took several phone calls and text messages (and nearly 3 weeks of waiting) to receive any updates from Cliff. When he did finally respond it was to share that the repairs needed had nothing to do with the work his company had completed in the initial build. We requested a refund of our deposit at this time, but heard crickets. The general contractor finally sent another roofing company out to look at the damage and within a day were able to perform the repairs. At this time it was confirmed that the repair was in fact due to work Cliffs company had performed. Not only are we out $300 for the deposit, but also are out several hundred dollars more because of the damage his poor job caused to our house (and not to mention the waiting and stress it has caused). All in all from start to finish, we will have been dealing with this issue for 3 months. I'd really think twice about hiring Sharp Roofing for even the smallest of jobs, or agreeing to partner with him on new builds. He is dishonest, a very poor communicator, and his company does poor quality work.

I was home almost the whole time and heard only clean language the entire week. They cleaned up well every day. The roof looks perfect. Their final cleanup made the area around the house look better than when they started. We got multiple bids and no other company could even come close to the same cost. Our roof was in bad shape. We had to have most of the plywood sheeting replaced. Most other companies wanted to charge almost double for each sheet. We also had all of our facia boards replaced. The other bids were much higher and didn't even include the facia replacement. Our final bill was as promised. We would highly recommend Rainy City for any roofing project.
