    Ed did a great job with my Transmission, I highly recommended him, he change my 2009 Honda Civic Transmission, for a very good price

My car was making some weird sounds and I had to leave it there for a few days so they can look into it. They found some other maintenance work I needed so I chose to do some other services as we couldn't figure out exactly where the other noise was coming from. I took the car home and the other noise came on again on the freeway so I recorded it and emailed it to them. I dropped my car off the next day and also spoke to the owner Tony who is a great person. He was very patient, calm and ended up finding out what the issue was, and got it all fixed for me. It was nice to work with Daniel, the Service Manager, and Tony, the Owner and help find out exactly what was going on with my car. I really appreciate their customer service and honesty. Daniel was very helpful and clear in communication. I was happy to talk to the business owner Tony who was very kind, patient, understanding, honest and I love the fact he was willing to take time to have a conversation and get to know each other as people. I like getting to know the actual business owner so I know who we're supporting in business. And Tony and team have definitely earned our business. The team at The Garage was professional, honest, and technically superior. While the dealership claimed my radiator and hoses were failing, The Garage actually tested them and proved they were in perfect health. Instead of guessing, they performed a resistance test and found the real culprit: a faulty VVT Oil Control Valve. It is rare to find a shop with this much integrity. They didn't just fix my car; they inadvertently gave me the evidence I needed to hold the dealership and corporate accountable. If you want a mechanic who values honesty over a quick buck, take your car to The Garage. They have earned a customer for life! Also shout out to Daniel - super great to work with and very kind.

This AAMCO location accepted our car on July 6. They let us know a new transmission was needed, and today on November 12, we still don't have our car back, and they're not answering our calls. We were initially told that the new transmission would take a couple weeks, so we rented a car. There were never updates, and when we would call, they didn't answer the phone or return voicemails. Finally my husband showed up at the shop, and they told him there was a hangup and it should be ready the next week. That pattern went on for about 8 weeks. In September, we got ahold of a new person, who told us the previous manager who wasn't answering the phone had some issues, but now this new person was going to stay on top of it. He shared that while replacing the transmission, the shifting cables broke, and that part was difficult to find. He set our expectations that he would call us later that week with an update. There have never been updates. We finally found out weeks later that there was an option to send the cables to be repaired, instead of relying on locating the replacement part. We were thrilled to have an option and asked them to proceed with that. Over the past month, we've called for updates, and have been instructed to stop calling. The store manager yelled at my husband on the phone and told him that they are screening our calls now because we won't leave them alone. We've asked if we can just have our car back - just put the old transmission back and give it to us so we can sell it as scrap. Even that has been declined. We've contacted AAMCO corporate, and they just pass messages on to this shop to call us, which doesn't happen. I'm at a loss. We've reached out to the Better Business Bureau and Consumer Affairs. I hate that it's gotten to this point. We finally bought another used car because we couldn't afford to keep renting, and I think our old car is just lost to us now.

I drove my truck in to get a bearing and pinion seal replaced. I was given a quote for "$1500 max", and then got a quote for about $5k. Posted a review elsewhere and received what I thought was a genuine attempt to make things right. Reached out and basically told they didn't do anything wrong and had no intention of trying to come up with a compromise. Keep in mind, I drove the truck drove in, and somehow everything "blew up" while in their possession and now it's not drivable and had to be towed out. Seems like bait and switch. Stay away, this shop demonstrates all the negative stereotypes the auto repair industry.

    I'm very disappointed with my recent experience at Sun Auto Repair in Renton. I came in because my…read moretrunk would not close. Before bringing my car in, I called and explained that I was confident the issue was the trunk latch. I asked about pricing and whether they had the latch in stock. I was told the first step would be to bring the car in so they could see if that was the problem. Once there, a mechanic tried slamming the trunk shut but it still wouldn't close. I was then told they needed to diagnose the issue for $140.00 to 170.00 At that point, I agreed because it sounded like they thought it might be something other than the trunk latch. Instead, I was charged $269 for a diagnostic, only to be told exactly what I already knew that the trunk latch was the problem. I don't understand why I was charged such a high diagnostic fee when I clearly explained the issue from the start. To make matters worse, I was quoted close to $800 to replace the trunk latch. For reference, the same latch for a 2016 Chevy Malibu LT 2.0 costs under $200 online. Between the excessive diagnostic fee and the inflated repair quote, I chose to walk away after paying the $269. They also claimed my battery was going bad, even though it was replaced just 7 months ago. Then today, I received a voicemail asking if I wanted to schedule work not just for the trunk latch and battery, but now spark plugs and struts issues that were never mentioned before. It honestly feels like they kept adding problems out of nowhere. I've had good experiences with them in the past, which makes this even more disappointing. Unfortunately, after this experience, I will not be bringing my car here again

My son recommended to take it to Landing Auto Service for a quote for a repair and they gave me quote i feel is "decent," likely reflects a fair market value for high-qulity work rather than a "cheap" fix that cuts corners.     Not good not good service at all... I recently had my brake…read moreservice for my Infinity QX60 at the shop and I am not happy about their service. 1) I had pads replaced cost about $1000 2) Took a car home and heard noise after a week. 3) Took a car back and learning that the back brake pads had quality issue and damaged the rotors. 4) Replaced rotors (additional $250) 5) Took a car home and still had the squeaky sound issues. 6) Took the car back and they couldn't figure out where the noise came from. They did a small adjustment and hoped it worked. 7) Few weeks after, still had a noise. Took it back and they asked for $99 diagnostic. Since I had no other choice, had to go for it. They found some corroded wire and offered to clean it for free. 8). Took it home. The noise was still there. I gave up and took my car to Infinity car service in Bellevue and learning that the replaced pads had poor quality. These pads were not OEM parts!!! I wish they would tell me upfront that they didn't use none OEM parts. Maybe, they need to fix their pad supply issues to ensure the pad quality up to the standard.
