I will say they have very good pizza. It is a pricey though. My only complaint about this place is, that sometimes they don't answer their phone. I assume if they get too busy, they just don't want to take any more calls. No proof to this, but when you know they're open and no one answers the phone, what other reason can there be? For that reason I take a star away. read more

Clean waiting area. Pizza ready at quoted time. My opinion this is Best pizza in Mount Vernon. Hands down. Yes, I've dined and taken out at quite a few in the area. Let me know what you think. read more

If you care about Covid protocols at all, don't come here right now. I used to live in Mount Vernon back in the 80's and loved Ron's Pizza, so when I was back in town for a track meet I knew I had to get a pizza. We tried calling and never got through so we thought we'd drive there to order. When we arrived either the employees were improperly wearing their masks or just plain not wearing one. This bothers me for many reasons, but just 1 week prior they were closed due to employees having Covid. Besides that I saw no patrons with masks and one guy even wiped his nose with his hand before going in and waving nicely to the employees who he must know. Guess I'll try in another 25yrs. read more

So since I moved to Mt. Vernon people have been telling how great Ron's pizza is and up until tonight I hadn't tried it. So tonight for some reason was the night, and it did not disappoint, the pizza was delicious. Something about how fresh the toppings are and they don't bury them in cheese, the ratio was so nice with the crust and sauce as well. Pizza is cut into squares. Price is reasonable for what you're getting. I can understand why this has been a staple in the Mt. Vernon community for years. Very local attitude, customer friendly. Will order again. read more

This place has been in business since the 70's. I have been going to Ron's since I was a child. Simply the best pizza in town. They also have great subs, I highly recommended the Rhino. read more

Our go to for pizza in the Vern. September purchase of take out "all the way" with double sauce and anchovies was so very very good.

If your hungry for a great pizza, you need to get Ron's. Not sure what the one guy was talking about in 2012. I have been a Ron's customer since 2009 and have used a debit card or credit card every time. Of course I am sure they will take cash. As for pizza being cold, that has never happened to us even when we ordered and were 30 minutes late to pick it up once. They put the pizzas on top of their ovens and they stay nice and warm. read more

For those who love thin-crust pizza this is the place. Take-out pizzas are about $11 which seems a little high, but hey, the pizza is awesome! I like that they cut the pie on the rectangle, too, and the crust is actually crispy not doughy. On any given night, it will take at least 45 minutes to get a carry-out pizza, so plan ahead. A staple to anyone who has lived in Knox County.. Ron's is it! read more

Good pizza. They carry anchovies. For me a big plus!! Place is clean, staff is friendly.

Half the people walking in weren't wearing masks, and some of the employees weren't either. They put no effort into enforcing any sort of social distancing or wearing of masks. Disgusting and disrespectful. Will not be coming back here. Also the food took forever. read more

Best pizza place in and around Mount Vernon by far. If you're willing to pay a little more for it, do it, because it is well worth the price! I've been eating here since I was really little, and I'll never get tired of it. read more

A hometown staple. Always fresh, always hot, consistently great pizza. You won't find a better thin crust, square sliced pizza in the US!

Pretty tasty pizza. No delivery so your sol if you don't have a vehicle. The pizza sauce and ingredients taste bomb. Crust is very thin though. I found it amusing the older woman there was drunk or either in drugs bc she was slurring her words(or had a recent stroke). Either way, the food was beyond consumable and their large easily feeds 2-4 people. Wings are large and tasty as well. Overall I'd come back as long as the lady offers me a shot read more

Arguably the best pizza I've ever eaten and definitely the best in MV. It's been around as long as I can remember and has continued to put out a good quality product. read more

We try to get Ron's pizza once every two weeks. Their box says it all the best in town. Unfortunately that's not a great thing, making for long wait times (5pm sucks as it is)and cold pizza (although I have never experienced a cold pizza I'm sure it's happened) no delivery service on top of the long wait times, and the straight up kick in the teeth is they are closed the two weeks of the fair. The people running the place have have great customer skills. When I walk in the place I get a very welcoming hello usually from the gentleman cooking the pizza. One of the comments states a breakfast sausage, yes it's bob evans my personal favorite so I'm good with that. PRICE is a bit high and I'd love to see a discounted second pizza but when you're the best and you know it you can open at 5pm, offer no delivery, and close for two weeks a year, and still provide the community with a great pizza. The crust is cracker crisp and thin, but along with the sauce and toppings they really have a good pizza. read more

Ron's Pizza - Mushroom, Black olive, and Pepperoni is my favorite! - Pizza Near Me - Mount Vernon, Ohio

Love this pizza! Great thin crust, they use a spicy pepperoni that pairs well w/onion (what I order here). Wife craves the mushroom pizza which they dice up. We pick up a couple on the way in and a couple on the way out every time we visit Mount Vernon! Have never moved pass the pizza, so not sure about other menu items. read more

The best pizza in all the land. I have loved Rons for years, and it really is the best pizza in town. If you're visiting Mount Vernon and are looking for a good pizza place, look no further. The only downside is they are closed on Mondays, and don't open until 5pm. Aside from that, I have no complaints. Give it a try, you won't be sorry. Ohh and they don't deliver. read more

If you are looking for great pizza that's local and not a chain, this is the place. Very tasty sauce, toppings, and a consistent crust. If you like your pizza crust more "done" ( but not burnt) than other pizza joints cook it, then this is also a great pick. Sometimes can be very busy on Friday nights ( but that's part of a good pizza place) read more

Best pizza I've ever had. Great if you love thin crust pizza. The only downside is they aren't open on Mondays.

Had to pay in cash with no ATM on site. Long wait time and pizza was cold. Poor service and overall customer experience.

Best pizza in central Ohio. Case closed. In more than 20 years of ordering from Ron's, our order has *never* been wrong. They must do a great job training people who answer the phone, because they are courteous and accurate. Pick-up times are spot-on, which we appreciate because we often are picking up on our way from Columbus. I wish I could give a 6-star review. read more

Love their pizza and the Fat Boy sub. Make sure you call ahead well before you need the food. It can take an hour sometimes for pizza but it's worth it. read more

Recently tried their pizza & wings. Pizza is probably the best I've had in town, so far. Nothing to write home about. The wings were not crispy, they taste like they boil them and just put them through the pizza oven to try and get a little crisp. read more

Best pizza, you won't be disappointed. Thin crust, crispy, hot and fresh. Delicious. Worth the drive

Just okay. I really like their crust. But their sausage tastes like breakfast sausage rather than italian sausage. No thanks. Other toppings are fine. Sauce is good, not great. Crust is great. Overall just okay, 3 out of 5. read more
