If your hungry for a great pizza, you need to get Ron's. Not sure what the one guy was talking about in 2012. I have been a Ron's customer since 2009 and have used a debit card or credit card every time. Of course I am sure they will take cash. As for pizza being cold, that has never happened to us even when we ordered and were 30 minutes late to pick it up once. They put the pizzas on top of their ovens and they stay nice and warm. read more

I will say they have very good pizza. It is a pricey though. My only complaint about this place is, that sometimes they don't answer their phone. I assume if they get too busy, they just don't want to take any more calls. No proof to this, but when you know they're open and no one answers the phone, what other reason can there be? If you care about Covid protocols at all, don't come here right now. I used to live in Mount Vernon back in the 80's and loved Ron's Pizza, so when I was back in town for a track meet I knew I had to get a pizza. We tried calling and never got through so we thought we'd drive there to order. When we arrived either the employees were improperly wearing their masks or just plain not wearing one. This bothers me for many reasons, but just 1 week prior they were closed due to employees having Covid. So since I moved to Mt. Vernon people have been telling how great Ron's pizza is and up until tonight I hadn't tried it. So tonight for some reason was the night, and it did not disappoint, the pizza was delicious. Something about how fresh the toppings are and they don't bury them in cheese, the ratio was so nice with the crust and sauce as well. Pizza is cut into squares. Price is reasonable for what you're getting. I can understand why this has been a staple in the Mt. Vernon community for years. Very local attitude, customer friendly. Will order again. read more

For those who love thin-crust pizza this is the place. Take-out pizzas are about $11 which seems a little high, but hey, the pizza is awesome! I like that they cut the pie on the rectangle, too, and the crust is actually crispy not doughy. On any given night, it will take at least 45 minutes to get a carry-out pizza, so plan ahead. Pretty tasty pizza. No delivery so your sol if you don't have a vehicle. The pizza sauce and ingredients taste bomb. Crust is very thin though. I found it amusing the older woman there was drunk or either in drugs bc she was slurring her words(or had a recent stroke). We try to get Ron's pizza once every two weeks. Their box says it all the best in town. Unfortunately that's not a great thing, making for long wait times (5pm sucks as it is)and cold pizza (although I have never experienced a cold pizza I'm sure it's happened) no delivery service on top of the long wait times, and the straight up kick in the teeth is they are closed the two weeks of the fair. The people running the place have have great customer skills. When I walk in the place I get a very welcoming hello usually from the gentleman cooking the pizza. One of the comments states a breakfast sausage, yes it's bob evans my personal favorite so I'm good with that. PRICE is a bit high and I'd love to see a discounted second pizza but when you're the best and you know it you can open at 5pm, offer no delivery, and close for two weeks a year, and still provide the community with a great pizza. The crust is cracker crisp and thin, but along with the sauce and toppings they really have a good pizza. read more

Love this pizza! Great thin crust, they use a spicy pepperoni that pairs well w/onion (what I order here). Wife craves the mushroom pizza which they dice up. They must do a great job training people who answer the phone, because they are courteous and accurate.
