Parsa to review the MRI results, my pain and range of motion had significantly improved to where surgery wasn't indicated.

Amazing Experience - Highly Recommend…read more I had my surgery at Beach City Orthopedic Sports Medicine, and I couldn't be happier with the care I received. From the moment I arrived, I was treated with respect and kindness. The staff made me feel comfortable right away, and everyone I encountered was professional, friendly, and very respectful. You can truly tell they care about their patients. My surgery on my right hand went smoothly and was a complete success. I've honestly never been to a medical facility where everyone was this sweet and welcoming. I highly recommend this office to anyone dealing with hand or leg injuries. Five stars isn't enough -- if I could give 100 stars, I would.

Our experience at Beach Cities Orthopedics with Dr. Christen Mellano was extremely disappointing…read more We arrived for a scheduled consultation and still waited close to an hour to be seen. What made this worse was watching other individuals who appeared to have a personal relationship with the doctor walk in without appointments and be taken ahead of us. It felt completely unprofessional and disrespectful of our time. When we were finally seen, the interaction did not improve. Dr. Mellano came across as defensive and combative when we asked reasonable questions about our daughter's condition. After reviewing MRIs and X-rays that were ordered through this same clinic, he ultimately said he didn't know what the problem was, suggested her pain (ongoing for over a year) would "eventually go away," and advised us to seek a specialist outside of his clinic. We left with no diagnosis, no treatment plan, and no confidence in the care provided. For a pediatric patient dealing with long-term pain, this level of dismissal and lack of professionalism is unacceptable. I would caution others to read reviews carefully and consider other providers.

First time, I saw Dr Ahn in late Oct 2025, I was so impressed so happy to hear about how awesome, kind and caring he was. I had 3 pieces in my left side of left wrist broken bones/cartilage. No surgery yet due to inflammation. Dr Ahn recommend Rheumatoid Arthritis Dr. So I went to RA Dr, he gave me RA meds said take for 3 mths - I made appt with Ahn's office Feb19, 2026. I go back to Dr Ahn and I was so happy to get the ball rolling. Got phone call day b4 my appt - my HMO insurance ran out???!! What?! Why didn't you tell me when I made my appt in late Nov?! Your computers tell you how long my insurance is covered for. I know because that's how the drs get paid!! So I had to get another referral, finally went back April 13, 2026. So excited to finally get my surgery scheduled. Office staff was nice. Dr Ahn didn't remember me, so I proceeded to tell him what was going on, he basically stopped me and told me that according to his records that my pain was on the right side of my left wrist?! Tried to tell him NO the pain I feel is still on the left side has NEVER been on the right. He told me that because I was in pain that I probably don't remember??!! WTF!!? I don't remember!! Dude!! I came to you, I lived by what you had said to me the first visit because I was in pain and according to my recommendations you were the best hand surgeon in the South Bay!!! Plus the first time, Dr Ahn was attentive, he listened, he was quite caring about my situation and he looked at me and smiled! I felt like this is it! I'm in great hands lol no pun intended. The second visit, he hardly made any eye contact, only read and looked at his notes, not really listening to my words, he also had chapped lips and dry mouth, he seemed impatient and had other things on his mind?! He offered to give a cortisol shot which I reluctantly agreed to but I swear he must have jabbed it in because it hurt so bad that at that moment if my hand wasn't already gripping the table top because I hate shots, I might have punch his smug face in!!! It was like Dr Jekyll, Mr Hyde!! I understand if you're having bad day but treating patients like they don't know anything??!! Sorry but that's not right. I left crying because I was SO mad! Now I'm sad that I have to research to find another orthopedic hand specialist in the South Bay area. I pray for Dr Ahn, that he will find his love and joy of being a good and kind doctor and orthopedic hand specialist again! Lol or at least drink more water! And if you're having a hectic day, just take a breath and just put yourself in your patient's shoes, treat people the way you would like to be treated!!! Just be kind. It goes a long way and as a patient - I would rather wait for my doctor and have him treat me well then like in a hurry to get me out of there or visa versa!?

From the very first visit, I felt heard and truly understood, which is something I haven't experienced with other specialists. What sets Dr. Robinson apart is his genuine commitment to finding the right solution for me, not just masking the symptoms. He is incredibly knowledgeable about a wide range of treatment options, from innovative therapies to established methods, and he takes the time to explain everything thoroughly, ensuring l am comfortable and confident in the chosen path. My quality of life has improved dramatically. I'm much more active and I look forward to the fun things in life. I've even taken up pickleball. Also, the atmosphere in the medical center is consistently welcoming and supportive. The entire team, from the front desk staff to the nurses and the doctors, treats me with kindness and respect. It really makes a difference when you're dealing with chronic issues. Without hesitation, I highly recommend Dr. Robinson to anyone struggling with pain. He is an exceptional physician and a genuinely caring person.

I also like how his crew are well informed and on top of it from the receptionist to the nurses assistance if you have an appointment, they see you on time and take care of you ASAP the waiting room before you go in to get your procedure done is pretty cold so good thing that they give blankets now everything besides that is pretty smooth you're In-N-Out in an hour or so.

I recently went to a UCLA orthopedic clinic for pain in my right hip. The UCLA doctor proceeded to treat me with Physical Therapy a PRP injection and I have had no pain on the right side of my hip. However, today we are seeing Dr. Thomas for my 15-year old son who was pulled out of school for this appointment. When arriving, we were told Dr. Thomas was over 1.5 hours late. I said it would have been nice to receive a text or courtesy call knowing how long the wait would be. The response...he's always this late and people here have been waiting longer. Unfortunate to be getting a poor review because of how poorly your front desk treats their patients. Understand that everyone runs late, especially in healthcare, but just keep your patients abreast on long wait times.
