We had a leak in our roof and decided to redo the whole roof since it was old. Gilbert and his team were great, and wrote up clear plans and quotes for a repair or a whole reroof. We also had gutters installed too. The whole process was smooth and well organized.

I had a very frustrating experience with this company. While the finished roof looks good, the…read moreoverall process was a nightmare. They started my project without first obtaining the required city permit. The city eventually stopped the work because there was no permit, and the company only pulled one afterward. Another issue was the contract. They used the date they gave me the estimate instead of the actual date I signed the contract. When I tried to cancel, they told me I couldn't because they relied on the earlier date, even though it wasn't the date I signed. They also removed my swamp cooler without understanding how it worked and left a water pipe open, which left me without water for two days. My calls went unanswered until the second day. The craftsmanship itself looks good, but the lack of communication, poor project management, and the way the permitting and contract issues were handled made this a very stressful experience. I would recommend asking plenty of questions and making sure all permits and paperwork are correct before work begins.

When I found them they helped lower the price because I'm a veteran which was great and Claudia helped me through out the project. Tom gave me the estimate and tried helped a lot also. I recommend this company for all your roofing needs! One small note, their not cheap but it's high quality work from professionals that are licensed and bonded with insurance so you can rest at ease that if someone gets hurt on your property they won't try to sue you because they have a valid license and insurance that covers their workers! Peace of mind is worth more then saving a few thousand!

The salesman, Scott, was very nice, which was the main reason we chose this company. He promised me that from the day we contracted the roof would be done within 10 days. This was not the case. Unfortunately, everything after the sale went downhill. Communication was poor, payments were demanded preemptively, timelines were not honored, and issues were dismissed instead of addressed. Jessica, Patty and Luis were especially rude and showed no concern for my questions or the damage caused to the property by their teams performance on the jobsite. They demanded payment day one for work they never finished. Due to the damages caused by the contractor, poor quality, professionalism, and customer service, and the leak still shown from recent rains, right after their work was said to be "done", and the permit has not passed preinspection. So how is the roof ready for final inspections and payments when its not even passing preinstall for OSB. I will definitely be contacting the CSLB. Filing an insurance claim, and having another contractor remove and redo their bad work.

They told me overall my roof was fine and to get the valley repaired. Jeremy came out and inspected my roof. Yes, the valley did cause my two rooms ceilings to get wet but I had broken, missing and sliding tiles. He took photos and a through drawing of all the issues I had with my roof. Communication with Karen and Taryn was exceptional. They got me scheduled right away and were able to answer all my questions and concerns. Jeremy and the crew came out and went above and beyond. They were so through from removing the roofing tiles, laying down new felt, fixing ALL my valleys (at my request), replacing the broken and missing tiles, placing everything back and cleaning up. Woolbright's Roofing provided me with a portfolio for my record of all the work they did from beginning to end. I highly recommend this company for your roofing issues.

He spent less than an hour looking around and couldn't find the problem, I received an invoice for $500 About a month later (next rain) the leak was worse. I had them come back out. They charged me $557 to spend another hour or so looking for the problem and said they still aren't sure if it is fixed. In my book, if you didn't do a thorough enough job the first time, you shouldn't be charging a second time for a job that wasn't done right in the first place. I called to discuss this and was offered a $50 discount. I will be seeking a new roofing company for future repairs

Yopoldo answered directly, asked some questions and gave me a competitive cost range right on the phone. He gave me an appointment the following day when his team would be in the neighborhood. (Another company I called previously had given me a 3 week out appointment just to get a quote). His team was able to arrive earlier than scheduled, and went up on the roof, remove tiles from the questionable area and provide a detailed quote with pictures within 30 minutes. The price quote was on the minimum range of the previous preliminary quote and was more than reasonable. Eric was very knowledgeable and explained exactly how they were going to repair the leak and showed me the material they would be using and why. Yopaldo followed up the quote with a phone call to further explain and answer any questions. They offered to do the work while they were there onsite! Eric drove all the way back to his office to pick up the exact color tile that needed to be replaced for the reapair. We could not be happier with the repair results. Definitely use Bigfoot Roofing again should I need it.

It was such a smooth experience, and we really appreciated how responsive and helpful he was. We'll definitely be recommending Bigfoot Roofing to anyone who needs roofing work or inspections. Exceptional work all around -- truly 5 stars!
