6/30/25 Having been a patient for years, and having cavities, veneers, and crowns, etc., I thought I had run the gamut for dental problems, but I was wrong. Recently, I developed an infection on my upper gums, which was very concerning, as it wasn't going away and my gums were swollen and red. Therefore, I called Dr. Hawk's office and made an appointment with Felisha, who does a super job at the front desk. She made an appointment with Nichole. She said Nichole is the best Dental Hygienist and will take care of you. How right she was, as Nichole did a deep cleaning, injected antibiotics, and put me on a program to eliminate the problem.Gum disease is no laughing matter, but after three weeks my gums are much better and swelling and redness are getting much better. So, thank you Nichole for the great work. In addition thanks to Margie, super Assistant, and Dr. Hawk for having an amazing, caring staff. They are all professional and very welcoming. Dr. Hawk is con man. He is one of the most dishonest Dentist's in Florida. He knowingly installed defective crowns and told me he would replace them at completion. He later refused. He then offered me a settlement to get my crowns corrected, and once I accepted his increased offer he refused to pay me. Dr. Hawk lied to the BBB and stated that the blisters on my lower lip and gums were canker sores, which is patiently false. I went to another dentist to document the horrible extremely painful blisters I received after a routine visit with Dr.Hawk. They were not diagnosed as canker sores of any type. Dr. Hawk acted like nothing was wrong and never apologized for his carelessness. Dr. Hawk is a danger to the community and should be avoided and I feel it's my duty to protect others from what he did to me. read more

9/1/20 It has now been a year that I have been working with Dr. Ronald Hawk, D.D.S., and his super team. It has been a very satisfying experience and I am more than pleased with the results. Initially, we set up a treatment schedule for my upper teeth, #'s 2-11. Two teeth needed implants. One tooth was shattered and needed a root canal, and the others were in bad shape. We, therefore, decided to use a combination of Veneers and Crowns. Dr. Hawk, Katie, and Stephanie, his Dental Assistants, worked diligently to make sure I was comfortable, as the process unfolded. Everything went flawlessly and I am most appreciative for their efforts, as I definitely made the right decision to have the work done by Dr. Hawk. He is an expert in the field of Dental Artistry. In addition, I would like to thank Reshma, his Hygienist, the Office Staff, including Bambi, Caleigh, and Betsy. They all were always very courteous, professional, and it was a pleasure working with them. After each appointment, I received a phone call the next day to see how I was feeling. I've been oming to Dr Hawk for over 5 years. He is very knowledgeable and very particular. He explains exactly what he's doing and make suggestions. Dr. Hawk is the very best dentist in the whole entire world. If you want your teeth done correctly along with your occlusion and you want it to last go to him. I used to work for him more than 20 years ago as a dental hygienist and he taught me more than any dentist could ever teach me, I had a terrible accident, and he put my mouth back together. Today was my first visit with Dr. Hawk. After seeing several dentists, prosthodontists, a periodontist and endodontists over the last 2 years, I'm so glad I came in for a consult with Dr. Hawk with several issues on my lower teeth. I am also in temporary crowns and need a full mouth restoration. He not only addressed every concern, but explained everything in detail and helped to make me more comfortable today until we can work out a treatment plan and move forward. Everyone in the office is so nice and efficient. I felt very comfortable sitting in the dental chair with his sense of humor and extensive knowledge. I went to Dr.Hawk in desperation to rid my life of constant migraines and the torment of "bruxism", (perpetual clenching of the jaw). I first sought out treatment from my amazing massage therapist whom was learning acupuncture. This did absolutely nothing. The masseuse even stated that my jaw was worse than any he had seen and could not put an acupuncture needle in. Bummer! I even tried something called "CranioSacral" therapy. That was a depressing experience and that is all I will say about that... In the past year I also tried Invisalign at Dr.Kawa's office, they at least adjusted my bite so I would not chip my teeth from grinding. Searching Google for a miracle I stumbled across "Botox for TMJD and Migraines". That seemed to spark my interest enough being almost 30.. Why not? It had been 9 agonizing days I suffered with a migraine in a row. The woman I spoke to on the phone, Debbie and Danielle were super nice and could sense my distress and were able to get me in the next day! So Exciting. Although, knowing me I almost assumed "watch tomorrow, I will wake up and my head ache will be gone". It was not. It was still alive and kicking. No idea what I was getting myself into I was welcomed into the office by Debbie and Danielle whom which I spoke to both prior. Danielle was super helpful and friendly and I even got emotional expressing my distress about the migraines. She handed me a tissue. Dr.Hawk came in shortly after and explained everything the way I like doctors to explain things, big fancy medical words with thorough details of what each muscle was doing and causing etc. It was great. Although I should have been super nervous, and at least spent a solid hour or two Googling all the side effects and benefits of Botox, I was all for it without a second guess. I do not have health insurance and they were also able to provide something called Care Credit which allows you 6 months to pay your balance with no interest. Isn't that spectacular!? The Botox did pinch a little I have to say but completely, completely, completely (underline "completely" at least 3 times.) was worth it! After 2 days I am elated to say I have not had even a hint of a throbbing mean ole' migraine again! I just went back for a follow up visit today (7/2) and had some more done. For years and years, I have suffered from facial pain associated with TMJ (sharp, stabbing pain, limited mouth opening, tight facial muscles, jaw tension, joint pain, acute under-bite, teeth grinding, chewing discomfort, muscle tension, bleeding gums... ). I went to countless doctors, dentists, oral surgeons, neurologists, and facial pain clinics to get to the 'root of the problem.' I've had all kinds of treatments (i.e., a mouth full of braces, retainers, bite guards, TMJ injections, root canals, an apicoectomy, Therabites, dental implants ($$$), gum scrapings (awful procedure), physical therapy for facial adhesions, and major jaw surgery (I walked around w/ a wired jaw for two months). In the end, a neurologist diagnosed me with trigeminal neuralgia. The pain stopped for a period of time, but then it returned. As time went on, I had fewer and shorter pain-free periods before it recurred. Trust me when I say, I've searched the ends of the earth to stop the pain and distress. Mainly, I focused on the pain and discomfort of my teeth; but in doing so, I overlooked the cosmetic appearance of my teeth. After determining the best option to correct my acute under-bite, Dr. Hawk started me on a treatment plan using an alternative to dental braces (clear, removable alignment trays to correct the under-bite). Most people won't know I'm wearing braces! In the course of my treatment plan, I learned Dr. Hawk was well informed and extremely knowledgeable about chronic facial pain. (Due to increased sensitivity and limited ability to chew, the facial pain was affecting every aspect of my life. I was desperate to find relief.) As another option to treat the pain, Dr. Hawk injected multiple doses of Botox into very sore, aching muscles of my face. I'm not sure the proper medical term for this procedure; but definitely, this treatment made a big difference in the quality of my life! Right away, I had a reduced amount of throbbing in my gums, teeth, and facial muscles. It's amazing; I have a smile makeover without pain! I could not be happier with the level of care I receive from Dr. Hawk and the other members of his team. From the front desk to the hygienist, and to the doctor himself, I am extremely pleased with their warmth, care and professionalism. Facial pain requires extensive knowledge and expertise, and Dr. Hawk truly knows and understands how to treat and eliminate it. After each visit, I feel better and better. With the highest regard, I recommend Dr. Hawk to anyone suffering from facial pain.
