I was 52 at the time and never needed one while my dad practicing until I was 45, this is NOT normally needed at all. Anyways I explained to them I'd do a regular cleaning and had to argue with them to get that. I go in and the hygienist says I was scheduled for a deep cleaning. I walked out never to return will get my cavities, root canal, and implant all scheduled to be done somewhere else. F*** them

She got me in immediately to see Dr Winderbaum. When I arrived, I found the office to be clean and nicely decorated. Dr Winderbaum was very nice. After seeing my problem, we decided to replace my broken onlay. He gave me a great shot, which I barely felt and he had a very gentle touch. He seemed to be very conscientious as well. His assistant performed a digital scan of my tooth and had a very light touch. A temporary restoration was placed while I wait for the lab to return my permanent restoration. A dreaded thought and fruition into reality much needed, I was reassured taking the initial steps towards beginning this process today would be much less stressful and worrisome as I've always anticipated it to be for a longggg time coming. From the very start of my consultation Dr. Pechan and his staff of lovely women each contributed individually with their acts and sentiments of knowledge, compassion, humor, professionalism and skill. They truly exercised all outlets to the best of their abilities and efforts in order to provide me with all options and outlets as viable solutions to consider pertaining to my situation. I initially visited a dentist prior to Dr.Pechan who's diagnosis lead me to seek out a second opinion, that opinion, of Dr.Pechan. Not only did Dr.Pechan double back and reevaluate all that had been done 11 days prior by the dentist I went to see before him, he also took the time to explain his diagnosis and consensus of recommended treatment in breakdown again, by presenting all viable options available to me as solutions. It's very far and few in these days and times that you come across a practitioner like Dr.Pechan (NOT their ASSISTANT) that is not only willing and able to educate you about your condition in a timely and patient manner but also understanding of certain ailments such heightened anxiety and fear (my main problem which is partly why I'm in the predicament I'm currently in) financial cost etc. Although they don't offer intravenous sedation they use alternative measures orally and sensuously to combat any jitters one may have if needed. Made an appointment via Zocdoc on December 20th for December 29th. Zocdoc is an app that let's…read morepeople easily book doctors appointments. Your insurance info is saved in the app, so you pick a time, book and you're done. I've seamlessly used Zocdoc quite a few times and really like the app alot. Today was the first issue. On the day of the appointment here, I showed up promptly, showed the receptionist my appointment in the app, but was told, no, there is no appointment. Apparently when you book with this provider on Zocdoc they don't actually make or honor the Zocdoc appointment. They just have you come in and try to shoehorn you into a different day and time. THAT'S NOT HOW ZOCDOC WORKS! The Zocdoc appointment is SUPPOSED TO BE the appointment. That's the whole point of Zocdoc. To make it easy for people to schedule. It's not supposed to be a lead generator where you don't honor appointments and then figure it all out later. That's ridiculous. I took time out of my busy schedule for nothing. Outrageous. Really disappointed with them for wasting my time and for not following Zocdoc procedures.

The office as clean and they have a lot of staff. As to the whole Dental Practice in my opinion they are basically into selling you something that you don't need. I came in the other day with pain, left with more pain and I'm also feeling pain in my wallet. If you're looking for just general dental visit do not go here.
