I should have paid attention the first time I reported to Sun Pain Management when they made me wait over an hour before they sat me in the wrong room for ANOTHER hour, before I went to find someone to let them know I was still there. They then moved me to ANOTHER room, where I waited ANOTHER hour, before the doctor entered to speak to me about my treatment. He spoke very professionally, reassuring me that he could help me, and assured me that my three hour wait was a rare mishap, and that his office was nothing but professional and respectful. It wasn't enough that I spent those many hours waiting to see the man that promised me he was a different breed of doctor, I was now in "good hands". He said, "wait here, we will get your scripts, and get you the number of the therapist" 45 minutes later, no one came back, I went out to find someone, only to find them closing down for the day; they forgot about me. They also told me my script was called in, which it wasn't. I called multiple times, and no one answered or called back. My husband had to drive back to the office and stand there while they tried to tell him they didn't have it, coincidence they figured it out.
My next appointment, I found out that they "might have moved". I called the office multiple times, no answer, and they still had not called me from the previous phone calls, let alone, the recent phone calls... I found out WHERE they moved by driving to the other office. When I did arrive, on time, it was a filthy office with plastic chairs, no room to sit or stand. The office was packed, wall to wall; it smelled of urine and feces. I waited for about two hours. I was told they were running behind because of the move. I know better than that; business is business. They double booked for the money. I complained to the PA, because again, I was there over three hours, , and Still had not received a return phone call. She disregarded the complaint, stating that I was the one who never called their phone call to me. I offered to pull up my phone records. I had to wait another 30 minutes I. The crowded waiting room for them to hand me my script.
This time there is a separate check in overflow room across the building, where more plastic chairs were lined up for the overpacked crowd. I waited two hours over there, before they called me to the doctors side of the office building...I called earlier to make sure I wouldn't have to wait for hours again, and the receptionist spoke to me as if I was rude in assuming they would be so inconsiderate as to make me wait that long...another three hours. There is no excuse for business to operate like this consistently... Please read all of the reviews, everybody has had the same complaints for years. I've never come across anything like this before, and if you ever want to have proper pain management make sure that you don't have a job if you attend this business read more
