I can't begin to describe the fun time I had at this skating rink!…read more I am an 80's baby and recall being dropped off on the weekend at the skating rink as a child! The good old days for sure !! I said this to say that I have always enjoyed skating! Am I a pro- nope - but I still know how to have a good time on the rink! I arrived at the rink 30 minutes prior to them closing for an hour. On Sunday they allow all ages to skate until 6pm. They close and re- open for adult night at 7pm. The price does go up. It costs $15 per person to skate plus the cost to rent skates if you do not own a pair is $6! Now some may say this is expensive . However, if you look at how much you pay for let's say a yoga class - it's comparable. . I say that because you can and will burn calories if you are actually skating! Just look at it like a fun fitness class ! The vibe for the night started off with old school songs being played! When I say old school- I mean songs I did not know! However, as the night progressed the DJ started playing songs I knew. Still not current, but at least songs I know. There appears to be a strategy to the rink. If you know what you are doing you can be in the outside of tink. If you are new to this and may not be a comfortable skater you need to be inside the pink lines. Then the inner circle appears to be for those that are dancing on skates. This is just my observation and I could be completely wrong! All of the patrons were friendly and it felt like a no judgement zone! Everyone was just having a good time! I think we left around 9:30pm and the place was packed!! I did note that they have a bar inside and a small arcade area. This spot would make for a good date night ! I will say that it is giving old school as it relates to the look on this inside ! However, that's what I loved about it! It felt like I was a teenager again! Highly recommend checking out this rink! -- guaranteed good times!

Solid skating rink experience they have here. It's not luxurious by any means, and doesn't carry…read morethe touristy notoriety of places like Cascade's (which I honestly like). But Sparkles is legendary in its own right. The crowd is generally very mixed, although they have different events/times tailored to different ages. Entry/rental prices vary based on the day. Check their website for their monthly calendar. The DJ appeals to all ages during the public skate and makes sure to censor the music for the kiddies. I've been here on different nights and experienced different DJs; be mindful that some are better than others LOL. If you come during the week you'll see all levels of skating (and roller blading). It's perfectly fine being a novice here, but I'd recommend avoiding the adult nights until you're very ready as the OG skaters definitely take over the building haha. A waiver is required to enter but the process is pretty easy. I really appreciate the clean bathrooms because that is not always promised at this type of venue. There were only a few trouble spots/small litter on the rink floor but they were barely noticeable. Again, for a skating rink.... Surprisingly clean! They keep up with the place really well. You'll actually see the staff cleaning and keeping things together throughout your session. Hell, even the parking lot is clean (as well as large and very well lit at night). Some of the staff could be friendlier, but I won't knock them too much for it. The patrons are really friendly and the energy is always good. And there's ample seating. Can't speak to the bar, concession stand, the play area, or the arcade since I only come here to skate. But this place is fully loaded and great for all ages.

We were there for 4 hours and there was a steady flow of people of all ages the whole time. The staff is very friendly and helpful from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. There was also a DJ that got there around 5 and he was great too! He was willing to play songs that we suggested even though he had his own mix to play. They also played tag a few times and a couple of employees hopped into the game too, it was great! The staff were also very interactive with the kids. While skating, I noticed that it looked like a piece of the skate was missing and when showing it to an employee he immediately had me take them off and provided me with a new pair--no questions asked. The facility was clean and well organized, it included a skate rink, arcade, jungle gym, food, and laser tag-- I will definitely return. Just a heads up, you have to pay admission and show rental separately, but they have a lot of events and deals. For me and my siblings, it totaled to about $44.

They have a playground, arcade, laser tag and concessions. Your kids will love it and adults too! I love skating and have skated since I was 4 years old. It is a friendly atmosphere. If you need practice, come early. There is less people.
