Rest and go back swinging. Sometimes just come to swim get tired and leave after talking a nice shower, then take them for a meal.

There's a beautiful playground right in front of the entrance that looked well maintained. There are also covered tables so you can sit outside and eat or do any other table top activities. They have two large gyms with bleachers on one side. They also had two activity rooms that could be set up to be used for many things such a trainings, baby shower, etc. Each of the rooms has a sink and the bathrooms are right next door. Bathrooms were also well kept. If you live in the neighborhood or need to host an event, I would suggest looking into this location.

You'd think this sort of think no longer exist they way people complain about not having any resources for their kids around summer. The complex has an outdoor pool, and play ground, basketball court and hold all sort of line dance classes, empowerment classes and yes, aqua zumba lessons. They also have volleyball, guitar lessons, and open gym at the basketball court several times a week My class was cancelled due to rain. When I went to pay the $5 drop in fee for the class the receptionist was not aware the class had been cancelled, when no one showed up near the 11am start time, I went back to the desk and the receptionist said the instructor had called and verified the class cancelled in the ten minutes I was there waiting for the class to begin and refunded me the $5. I'm for sure going back since they offer different fitness classes and most of them have a drop in rate of $5-7, some of them even give a discount for seniors citizens. A wonderful business for the neighborhood and great activities for kids.

There is a large indoor gym with basketball, run track, class rooms and conference rooms. And I believe they also have an adjoining disc golf course (at least did at one time) We come here often. The restrooms are clean and this place is rarely crowded or congested. The play area for the kids offer a variety of things from slides, swings and other things ideal for the smaller kids up to about 8 to 10 years old. A sitting shaded area is available for the parents to just watch, sit and relax if that's what they choose to do. For those that want to take a walk you can either take the trail that goes along the parking area or you can continue your walk through the wooded area. A lot of leashed dogs get a chance to meet and greet each other as they walk their parents along the paths. The trail walk averages from an estimated 2-4 miles depending upon which trail you choose. Now they're doing some changes to add Disc golf to the area. Along the wooded path you will notice a lot of foliage being removed and disrupted impacting the deer and other animals that once made this area their home. Check it out.

Tennis courts are pretty nice. Plenty of free parking available. Facility is well maintained free of dogs and traffic. Richard Craig Park is about 39+ acres of green space with tennis courts, a playground, a pavilion and lighted baseball diamonds. Richard Craig Park's name was formally changed from South Cedar Park in 2003 to honor Mr. Craig. Mr. Craig served as chairman of the Recreation board as well as playing, coaching and umpiring ball in Henry County. Mr. Craig also played a part in the First Sunshine League Field for handicapped athletes. Facility features 39 Acres, Sunshine Field, 8 Lighted Baseball Fields, Pavilion and 16 lighted Tennis courts. They also have couple of nice and clean long picnic tables with the shades on the top. If you are in the area please do check it out.

There were a couple of families with little people enjoying the play area. The tennis courts and the baseball diamonds were completely empty. Not sure if this usual or not. I could see another playground off in the distance behind the baseball area, but didn't get a chance to get over there to get a closer look. In general, it was really calm. Even with little people around. They seem to have been enjoying their time very much, and the parents either sat quietly nearby or helped them onto the playground equipment. There is plenty of walking space, and also places to come and enjoy a late breakfast or lunch. The wide-open spaces are large enough to accommodate sizable parties for those who are looking for a location to host a get together in a public space. And there are a couple of pavilions. I did notice that there were several electrical outlets available. In all, a very nice, well-kept community park.
