I took my 13 month old son here to visit and wow I loved it. I did the free trial for a day for $10 to see how I liked it. Honestly it exceeded my expectations. Very clean place. All foam flooring. The only thing I would've preferred to make things perfect would be to have some toys or something for babies to interact with. My son got bored quickly because he can't walk or get into the equipment without help so all he can do is crawl around. Maybe some sensory things out for babies to find and explore. This would've made me get a membership but since it didn't I'm still on the hunt for another indoor play place. Edit 5/19/2023: I have found the perfect place I was looking for. Highly recommend Richmond children's museum. Lots of fun things for baby to get into. This place is more of a safe gym for kids. read more

I have been taking my 2 year old grandson to Romp n' Roll for two months. His social skills, confidence, and ability to listen and follow directions has improved so much. The teachers are wonderful, the facility is clean and every precaution is taken for the kids to be encouraged while learning about themselves and having fun. read more

Still waiting on the owner to return my phone calls, text messages, and emails about an alleged altercation involving my child that happened over the summer at the Midlothian location that I was not made aware of until the end of September. Have not heard from owner since October 6th, but my previous comments on the sponsored Facebook ads rom 2 days ago have since been deleted. Such a shame, my child enjoyed coming to events, but staff has grossly mishandled an issue that could've been resolved by producing an incident report and informing parents. read more

I started taking my daughter to the Babies Gym & Music Class at Romp n' Roll since she was 8/9 months old and she always has a great time. The entire staff is very warm and welcoming, always there to greet you immediately when you walk in. Mr. Daniel has a way with the little ones! He definitely captivates their attention with his wits, theatrical voice and gestures. He also takes the time to learn you and your child's name, is informative on child development and all around a great employee. We look forward to booking classes with him. The only downside is during open playtime, it is not supervised that well. There were times when other children have played very roughly, throwing and kicking balls. Bummer because my little one is now walking and exploring on her own, but can not safely do so with me being paranoid that an object is flying towards her. We just look forward to the age appropriate classes from now on. read more

BYOF (bring your own FIRST AID KIT) because God forbid your kid hurts themselves - they offer 2 band aids in the event there is an injury. Loved the facility and the customer service, if it weren't for the huge mishap w no first aid kit, I may have scored them 4 stars‍ read more

After attending our first class for free, we decided to purchase a 5 class/5 open play "passport." Our LO is just shy of 15 months and loves going to play! We love that it is a safe, inclusive environment. She is able to play along side children who are older and younger. The equipment has been different each time we have come. We enjoyed the Toddler Tunes class and look forward to checking out others. This would be a great place for a SAHM to take their kid to be exposed to other children. From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming. Daniel took the time to explain the class to me and learned Layla's name at the very beginning. He let her take her time to warm up to him and was patient with her. When we finished, Lauren had all the membership info ready for us. She had even circled all the classes for Layla's age group. She answered all my questions and we even got a follow up call the next day! The ONLY reason we did not join is because I normally work during the weeks so making the five classes/being able to go enough to make the membership worth the cost would be hard, but I hope to drop in for open play time soon! This was our second time visiting Romp n' Roll and we were once again pleased. The facility was very clean and tidy (as tidy as can be for a kid's play area). We were surprisingly pleased that there were different items out for kids than the first time we visited which was about a month and a half prior so it seems there is a variety of items that are rotated in and out which is wonderful. I wasn't informed of the cancellation fee verbally when I signed up...they just said you can cancel at anytime. I feel that since they took the time to explain all the benefits verbally they should have taken the time to explain all the fees as well. My entire Romp n' Roll experience has been based on attending several birthday parties for my daughters' friends, so we've never attended a public open gym. They always seem to have a good time at the parties and really like the combination of free play and organized group activities (particularly the moon bounce). In terms of cons, they always feel understaffed in the gym when you ask 2 employees to supervise 15+ rambunctiously active kids. Thankfully they allow parents at no charge, otherwise I'd be a little concerned about safety amidst the chaos. Further, we've been to 4 birthday parties here and they have all been exactly the same; it would be great if they changed up the format or activities from time to time. It's certainly nice that the parties are "maintenance free" and you don't have to clean up afterwards, but it's a bummer that they restrict what kind of food you can offer for parties around mealtime hours. All in all, Romp n' Roll is a fun experience for pre-school kids, but I also feel like they could be doing much more with what they have than they are. read more

My kid always has fun. However, I'm a bit disappointed in the payment transaction. I registered my daughter using the MindBody app for Kids' Night Out. The only option to register was $15. Apparently, it should have been $25. Romp N Roll called me and told me I selected the wrong option (they were nice) and I explained it was the only option in the app. They charged me the extra $10, which is fine, but they should have honored the $15 price as it was the only option in the app. The nice person on the phone said IT was doing some work. When I got there that evening, I showed someone the app and they said "Oh, that's interesting" and that was the end of it. They need to fix their app. We love taking our daughter there but felt this maybe could have been handled a bit better. read more

I've had 2 children that have spent a lot of time at Romp n Roll since they were just a few months old. We have also done numerous birthday parties there and summer camps. I can not say enough great things about them. The teachers, the curriculum, the open gym, the attention to detail...it is all perfect. My son and I absolutely LOVE Romp n' Roll! Teachers Maggie and Callie are top notch--my son stays interested 95% of the time (he's 2, so that is AMAZING!)... the other 5% he can run and freely explore things in the gym to his liking. It is a perfect Mommy and Me thing to do, because there are also plenty of cuddle moments (storytime, music, art project, etc.) They are also hardcore about hand sanitizer (which is great with this age group!), you sanitize on the way in and on the way out. Very clean--and I like that. We'll be taking class here for a LOOOOONG time! read more

This place is great. The classes really suit all ages and are very flexible, and they are generous with Open Gym/free play time, too. The teachers have all been wonderful, very patient and energetic. The pricing is very fair for such a great activity that stimulates children's minds and bodies. If you're looking for an activity with your baby/toddler, highly recommended! read more
