George Montgomery of Paw Paw WV knows motorcycles! He owns them, rides them, intuits them, builds…read morethem, rebuilds them, and, of course, repairs them. He also knows British and foreign made bikes, like Triumph and BMW, which is a rarity. If you can't find a part from a vintage bike that hasn't been manufactured in decades, chances are good that George has the part or he can make it. He has a solid and trustworthy reputation for a reason. The kind man just took a glance at our brand new dirtbike and pointed out something that needed to be adjusted. It was a simple fix we did ourselves, but if he hadn't spoken up, it could have been trouble. We've known him and his work for a couple years now. Other riders we know also rely on George's seemingly innate sense for two wheelers. He has passion and integrity, to boot. I don't say this tritely: it's literally a pleasure to deal with him. We'd trailer out to WV before we'd let anyone else touch our bike.

It was such a good deal I worried it wasn't a real place. But I called and dealt with Eric (he's awesome). He was straight forward, honest and really helpful. It's scary buying something unseen AND so far away. He made it flawless, and totally helped me pick (and have them installed) the accessories we bought for it. Mind you these are things we couldn't have afforded if the Rzr had been regular market price. We used a terrific shipping company called Sevat Transport. My only advice is to really research your shipping cost and the company you use before shipping it. It cost a little more to ship than we had planned. In the end, all in all a great experience. Here it is safely in my garage in Reno.

He actually took me for a test drive around town before I made the final commit. This is unique to this powersports dealership, and I've never experienced this before. It made it much easier to say yes. I came here a year later for some suspension upgrades, because I felt that the shop is more experienced with the class of motorcycle I chose - and I wasn't wrong. They took good care of me. All of them are riders and they get it. Positive experiences and good vibes. Harley's, Guzzis, Honda, Royal Enfield, Triumphs... Some used, some new... But about why I love this place: When my bike decided to have a mysterious wiring malfunction, I tossed it on a tow truck and sent it to see Carl, Ed, Dana, Mike, Steve, Rob and the other guys at Winchester Motosports in Winchester/Clearbrook. Those guys worked on it diligently and without trying to rack up a huge bill, sent me back my bike with a reasonable bill, two newly installed tires, fresh fluids and adjusted this and that. The thing is AAA wouldn't two my bike out to me. So Ed delivered the bike to me, dropped it off and they charged me half of what anyone else would/could have. Nice people. But here's the thing. I took a ride out there the last two weekends to get some things done to the bike and I met Carl, Ed Mike and Dana, all of whom are the NICEST people. They've treated me well, treated everyone I've seen in their shop well, and fairly, and so I will continue to get my bike serviced there, despite being over an hour away. Carl is a great guy, fun to talk to, a fair owner of the shop, knows his bikes, and really enjoys seeing people ride. Mike is a good solid mechanic as are the rest of the boys back there. There are also some very pleasant nice, and dedicated bike enthusiasts floating around this shop. So talk to the folks there. Might not be a destination shop like once of those Monster shops, but I'd rather talk to Winchester any day of the week.
