We've been ordering pizza from Romeo's Pizza ever since it has opened in Hartville. The pizza is better than most fast food pizza shops in the area. Today we took advantage of their BOGO DEAL. We ordered a Buffalo Chicken Pizza and a Build Your Own Pizza, on the build your own I requested Banana Peppers and added on extra sauce and extra cheese. Definitely didn't have extra cheese. NEWS FLASH: When I go to your site to check out the Menu, I do so because I am not only searching out what to order, but I am ALSO looking for the price so as to help guide my decisions. What turns me off and what I REFUSE to do is click deeper into the link as though I am placing an order so as to expose the pricing. If you have little confidence in posting your pricing up front, then I have no confidence in placing an order. And just so you understand, you normally only have one chance at setting a good impression. We were staying with our friends who live in Hartville, it was late and we were hungry. Our friends live out of town a ways so a quick Google of "pizza near me" led me to Romeo's. Romeo's offered a variety of different pizzas and wings which is what we wanted. They also offer salads, subs, appetizers of all kinds, Stromboli and calzones and desserts too! I really liked that Romeo's had their own delivery people. No third party delivery service which is better for me and better for Romeo's too. We ordered a pound of Sweet Chili wings and a large Pepperoni Feast Pizza - extra pepperoni, extra cheese, Wisconsin cheese blend and their house pizza sauce, we asked for it to be cooked well done. $40.49 total. I placed the ordered on-line and received a confirmation with a 40 minute ETA. Our food arrived in less than 30 minutes. The young man who delivered was courteous and polite. The wings were good. They weren't great wings, but they were plump and flavorful. They were definitely sweet chili, they had no heat to them. The pizza was excellent. It was LOADED with pepperoni. They weren't lying advertising it as extra pepperoni. It was cooked perfectly to our well done liking. The pepperoni all had those great curled edges, just ever so slightly burnt. The crust provided a great chew with perfectly crispy edges. The four of us devoured that pizza! Our friends were so impressed that they were talking about making Romeo's their go-to pizza joint. Ordered 2 large pizzas total was 37 with 7 dollars off. Pizza arrived quickly and when I opened the box understood why. Apparently they lack quality control who would send a pizza out in this condition see pic below. Very disappointed with what we received. read more

Romeo's Pizza is a chain takeout and delivery restaurant with over forty locations, mostly in Ohio but with single locations in a few other states. They've been around for nearly twenty years and just keep getting better. Sadly, there is no Romeo's Pizza in Virginia where I live but my parents live in Hartville so I am able to enjoy Romeo's when I am in town visiting. Conveniently located in the busy Edison Park Center they share the huge parking lot with the rest of the businesses located in the shopping center. The lot is well maintained and always free of debris. Romeo's offers much more than just pizza. They have assorted appetizers, subs, salads, chicken wings, strombolis and calzones. If you want something sweet they also have some delicious chocolate chunk cookies. I've had Romeo's pizzas before while visiting family in the area but this past 4th of July was the first time I actually visited the location in person. I was pretty impressed with the operation There were five delivery vehicles parked in front of the store and when I entered it was obvious the restaurant was very busy. The employees were friendly and professional and appeared to be working well together as a team. My mother had ordered an extra large Buffalo Chicken Pizza and a Deluxe Full Sheet Pizza. The pizzas were ready at the promised time. The young man behind the counter quickly processed my Discover Card and gave me three huge boxes of pizza. As I approached the door an employee held it open for me, a nice touch. I was on my way very quickly and back at my parents' house a few minutes later. Okay, I'm going to cut to the chase. First up is the Deluxe (pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, red onions, green peppers) Full Sheet Pizza. A full sheet pizza is actually packaged in two boxes, each box contains a rectangular thick crust pizza (similar to Detroit-style) cut into twenty pieces. Topping portions were very generous and the pizza was incredible. A lot of times when I order thick crust pizzas at other restaurants I've gotten crusts that weren't cooked through all the way. That was not the case at Romeo's, the crust was cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious. The toppings, the Wisconsin Cheese blend, slightly sweet original pizza sauce and crust combined for an amazingly delicious pizza. It was a party in my mouth. Next up is the Ranch Lovers Buffalo Chicken Pizza. I am a more traditional pizza lover and have always thought chicken didn't have any business on a pizza. Honestly, I had never experienced chicken on a pizza but my wife just kept raving about how it was the best pizza she'd ever eaten so I had to give it a try. I was blown away! The traditional crust was the perfect bed for the marinated Buffalo Chicken, Wisconsin Cheese blend, Ranch Bacon Sauce and swirl of Buffalo Sauce, and extra cheese sprinkled with fresh Italian seasoning. I had to agree with my wife that this was an incredibly delicious pizza. I loved the gooey cheesiness and the rich creamy sauce under the perfectly baked cheese on top. It was unlike any pizza I have ever experienced, I think I'm addicted. I will try other Buffalo pizzas in my home area but I fear I will never find an equal to the heavenly pie at Romeo's. One thing is certain, the next time I'm in Ohio I will visit Romeo's Pizza. read more

The pizza is fair ..... the primary complaint is the shortage of toppings !! I am sure I speak for many , and if they raised the price and loaded the toppings the public would respond more positive . We have a local shop that the crust can't be seen for the toppings and they have been in business for 60 years !! read more

I contacted the location again the next day and spoke to a higher level manager. We appreciated that he took the time to listen and understand that we were not trying to pull anything (remember - we had returned the pizza that was wrong back to the location the prior evening and still had our experience dismissed by the management on duty that night). This higher level manager discussed the situation (rather than just parrot policy at us as had happened the night before) and resolved the matter. Thank you. read more

The pizza is great. But they make it hard to do business with them. This location no longer offers specials over the phone. They want you to come in to the store to peruse the coupons. Or, you have to go online and *print* the coupon. In this mobile-only world, Romeo's wants you to go back to a printer in order to print the coupon? Recently, I thought I had a workaround. I stopped by the Romeo's in Green to get a coupon. It is online only. I use my phone to go online and order that pizza from Hartville and use the coupon code. I shoot a picture of the coupon and text it to my wife who is going to pick up the pizza. I tell her that this exact coupon will be on the counter at Romeo's in Hartville. When she goes to pick up the pizza, she *must have* the physical coupon. The manager cut that coupon off of our pizza box. Seriously, right now on my dining room table is a Romeo's pizza box with one of the four coupons missing. What is up with this new policy? Are the coupons like gold? read more

Very disappointing ordered chicken wings and two salads. Salad had brown lettuce, tomatoes looked frozen. The chicken wings looked like chicken nuggets. Called the manager Scott which chose to do nothing. We are a business and we would never treat our clients that way! read more

I ordered the Deep Dish pizza with pepperoni online, showed up 20 minutes later and it was ready for me. The pizza was a solid pizza, the sauce was a little sweet but it had flavor. First time customer who definitely plans on stopping by for lunch again in the future. read more

While pizza is a very common offering in my area, many are just bad. Romeo's can be very good, for a chain. They have online ordering which can make the take out only locations easy to patronize. However, for some reason there was a glitch in their new electronic system and policy that prevented me from ordering online. So, we visited but then had to wait about 20 minutes for the pizza. I had the Butcher Shop. Lots of meats and thin crust, well done. I only ate half for dinner. Tasty. My wife had the Margherita Pizza and was quite disappointed. The description sounded great, the actual pizza was lacking. Not much flavor, I tried it too. Presentation was nice though! I would go back, my wife won't. Also, the small pizza's are a little over priced for the size, unless you have a coupon. Sorry Romeo! read more
