Really good sauce and caramelized onions. Sometimes there's too little sauce. Easy pick up.

Undercooked Strombolis, average pizza that doesn't heat up well the next day. Greasy pizza and appetizers. No thanks.

Read a few of the reviews here and was not optimistic it was going to be a good experience, but when I walked in the door with my wife, we were treated with a huge smile and promptly seated belayed many of my fears. We came in on a Tuesday night at 5:30. The parking lot was already half full, that alone surprised me, as they were the only open business. The ambiance still has a 70's feel to it, but so what? Linens on the tables and comfortable seating, we got off to a good start. Ordered a glass of the house cab which wasn't half bad. Started with a side salad that was reasonably good, but nothing over the top. Our server brought bread to the table, but no butter until we asked. The bread was very good. Not sure if they make it in-house, but it was warm. Took a while to get our entrees. When they landed on the table, they were luke warm at best. Ordered both a chicken parm and an eggplant parm, as well as an Italian sausage on the side. The sausage was cold. The advertised linguine pasta morphed into spaghetti and the red sauce, though tasty, was sparse. Both parmesans were outstanding. Crispy, somewhat cheesy, and warmer than anything else on the table. It was clear to me that the mediocre service wasn't the fault of our server. She was hustling, just overwhelmed with the number of tables. When she brought our check, she apologized without prompting, which moved this review up from 3 to 4 stars. I will come back, but a little bit earlier in the day to beat the crowd, and will ask for a side of marinara. I'm expecting a much better experience. When we left, the parking lot was full...on a Tuesday night...in the middle of nowhere. Truly amazing!

I recommend getting the dressing on the side, mine was a bit heavy on the dressing. Good salad with tomatoes and garbanzos. Our server seemed new and didn't know what came on the deluxe, but was very nice and found out. Overall the servers were attentive and friendly. We got to enjoy some live music provided by Kristine Jackson who is a very talented blues artist. Will return to try the pasta.

Had a cup of the clam chowder. It was thin, lacked a lot of clams, but very hot (nice). Daughter had the fettuccini Alfredo. It was not cheesy at all and had little taste. Got a cheese pizza for her daughter that was better than her dinner. We also had the pepperoni bread which was good but the highlight of the evening was the chicken Parmesan- not because it was super tasty, just super HUGE. This damn thing must have weighed in at over a pound and a half! I ate about 1/3 of it and still had over a pound left to take home. Never seen such a huge piece of chicken. It was reasonably well prepared, had plenty of marinara sauce and the cheese was delicious. The red sauce is good, just not great. A bit bland, but not watery at all. Our server was fast and friendly. Apparently silverware is an option, and the guy at the door seating people was more interested in his phone than he was in anything else.

This is hands-down the best pizza I have found. I can't say that I've spent as much time as I once…read moredid searching for the best pizza in town, but over the years I have probably reviewed 15-20 different pizza shops and eaten at many more, but all but one (which coincidentally is no longer in business) came up either way off the mark or just a bit short of the mark for me. Enter Fatbob's Pizza. For me, you need to absolutely nail at least four things to make a good pizza. In no particular order (because the house will fall if any single one of these "walls" are missing anyway) you need: the crust, the sauce, the cheese, and the toppings. I know what you're saying "Gregg, that's basically the entire pizza." EXACTLY! It all has to be there and they all need to work seamlessly together in order to make a great pizza. We've all had those pizzas and said "Well, I liked the crust," or "At least the toppings were fresh," or "The cheese was really good," or "The sauce was perfect, not too sweet but not too spicy..." If you're lucky maybe you even found a combination of two or three of the above but rarely do you come across all five from one place. It's almost like finding a leprechaun, although finding a leprechaun would probably win that duel, but I digress. Fatbobs is the place that has it all. Light chewy crust, perfect sauce in spice and amount, stringy cheese and freshly hand-cut toppings. A difference you can both see and taste. Their website makes this claim: "We're proud to offer the highest quality pizza we can. With fresh ingredients hand cut and dough handmade all in store, our pizza is unbeatable in taste." I'm here to tell you that they're not lying. You will see and taste the difference. Excellent pizza!

I swear she was the cook, too, but she was adamant it was someone else. Regardless, she should have accepted that compliment, as the food was surprisingly good! I had the chicken parm and the wife and the eggplant parm. Both were really good. The chicken was expertly prepared, thin and crispy. A bit light on the cheese and the sauce, but the extra sauce I asked for on the spaghetti made it okay. The 'extra' sauce was just enough to cover everything. Not complaining, but I expected it to be swimming in marinara. Before our entrees we were asked if we wanted soup or salad. I suggested a salad, though my wife had no input. Figured she was going to watch me eat when we were brought a mixed green salad served family style with 2 plates. It was more than we needed, but very good. The surprise came at the end. The lunch portion of our meals offered a side salad for an additional $3. The salad we got was $22. I see it on the menu now and guess I should have clarified what I expected, but when the salad is more than your entree, I was taken a back.
