It's grandmas old table and chairs, family pictures on the wall, bowls and rolling pins on a bakers shelf in the corner and oldies playing in the kitchen with someone singing along as she cooks. This is clearly family run. We got there within an hour of them closing and our waitress was ducking out a bit early because she had a hair appointment but it's ok because "mom would run the food". BTW-they aren't joking about what time they take their last orders and I understand why. It did take some time for our food to come. It was just mom/grandma aka the best home cook making the food. There is no prep line or sous chef here. You legit get homemade, from scratch straight from the kitchen food. Just like mom makes. Or like moms used to make. So be patient. Good food made with love will take longer than you might want it to but let me tell you. It was worth it.
