Some of the best breakfast tacos I've ever had!
    Jason S.

Stopped in for brunch on Sunday and was pleasantly surprised. We chose to sit outside, which turned out to be a wise choice. The inside seemed very nice with lots of options to sit in a large bar with comfortable looking chairs/stools. Our server was very nice as well as all the other employees that I talked to. I had the breakfast tacos, which were highly recommended and did not disappoint. My friend got pancakes and they were to die for. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back to try more of their offerings.

Parking is available on the street or a few blocks away. There was no wait for a Friday morning. The breakfast food was good, and was enjoyable. The portions were okay, I am used to too much food from restaurants so the portions felt light.

When we arrived during peak lunch time on the Saturday during the Pride parade, we were surprisingly seated right away. I enjoyed a ginormous (and delicious!) cappuccino and the Glazy Susan which was a breakfast sandwich that was so flavorful. Our waiter was quick to greet us and always made sure our drinks were filled and that we were doing alright. I had been to Pullman years back, but couldn't remember my prior experience. I will definitely remember this experience and will be returning again soon!

Truly amazing food! Each item was so delicious! The fries with bacon jam were honestly our favorite fries we've had anywhere. As well, the s'mores expresso I had was insanely good. I can't believe it actually tasted like a s'mores but not in an artificial way. The service was great even though it was extremely busy. We were lucky enough to sit by a front window and get to people watch as we ate.

The rave reviews this place had really stood up to the test. I came in questioning if it would be as good as what I've read online and it definitely was! I opted for the pork chop and had room for dessert after. The portion size was a little small so I would've liked the protein to have been paired more with a starch, but the flavors were amazing. I wanted to drink the creamy broth liquid The dish was served in by the end of it. Same with the banana foster - the caramel was out of this world. The building was a bit loud and the service was pretty casual. However, a rating based upon the food, it surpassed my expectations.

This is a high end diner. Maybe it's just because I started rewatching The Bear, but I got the gourmet vibe here (also while hearing the chef quietly say "hands.") I'm really not up on the U of I culture but I bet this is a favorite spot. We stopped in for a late lunch because my sister LOVES their wheatberry/salmon/labneh salad. I scored a bite and agree. I went with the curried chicken salad sandwich. It was good but I was in love with the simple side salad of mixed greens and that vinaigrette! No words. The chicken salad sandwich was good but I think I would order it again without the toast and piled on top of that green salad. Service was good. I would return.

Casual atmosphere with a nice selection of menu options. We went with a large group and started with the pot stickers and bone marrow. The bone marrow was excellent--rich and flavorful--though I would have preferred it without the sweet bacon topping. The Pullman burger was very good, cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Service was friendly and efficient, making for an overall great dining experience.

There's some true culinary and talent behind this place. Not only do they exemplify with the open Kitchen concept, but the menu is just very well done. The Fried chicken and burgers seemed a little heavy for me as we were just driving through to Kansas City so I opted for a few things from the happy hour menu and appetizer menu. By a few, I mean five because after the first one being so good, I just kept ordering. I can't begin to explain how good of a decision. It was to stop and have an early dinner here. Service was great. To top it off five of us sitting at the counter were all chefs. Highly encourage you to check it out.

Food is high quality, diverse menu, plenty of options. All fresh! Service was friendly and attentive, eager to answer all questions. Ambiance is upscale train car dining. Perfect for dinner with friends and family.

Service is awesome. Server very friendly and helpful with suggestions. Small restaurant with tables towards the front and a long counter Service area. Along the wall behind the counter are booths. I got the Lazy Suzan breakfast sandwich. They make their own bacon. Served on a sweet bun with garlic patoes. I not a fan of the overly sweetness of the bun and the heavy garlic in the potato. Others in our party had the French Onion Soup, which looked and tasted great. They are known for their burger and it didn't disappoint

Space is small, it has limited seating and it gets hot when full. The kitchen puts off quite a bit of heat and there are a bunch of people. Service was extra fast, you can visually see the servers running around. Food came out kind of slow, it was busy after all. Waters never went empty. We got a double "Pullmans" burger with bacon added on, The fries were outstanding, perfectly salted and fried. Burger was a perfect We got a wings and legs with sauces, I didn't even need to try it with the sauce, they were amazingly seasoned and made my mouth water for more. We got the salmon salad, I'm not a big salad person, but it was pretty damn good. And finally the Mo Burger, the flavors were beautifully balanced. The avocado compliments the natural sweetness of the burger. And for desert we got the banana foster, it's honestly outstanding. I have no other words. Overall 10/10, better than most $200+ restaurants.

AMBIANCE: I couldn't think of a better way to spend breakfast on a warm Midwest summer morning than to spend it at Pullman's. I had been telling my twin sister about the breakfast offered at the restaurant. FOOD: She ordered the simple breakfast. I ordered the breakfast tacos. The breakfast tacos were really good! There is a lot of meat present in the taco. The only thing to note is that the dish was oily. Also, this dish comes with a lot of cheese for anyone who is lactose intolerant. Outside of that, I absolutely loved what I ordered. 10/10 will be back to try more items on the menu.

Just a VERY GOOD ! I asked my server what I should order and was recommended the Pullman burger , it was perfect. It wasn't so big that you need a shower afterwards (I hate that) and you can actually pick it up without the inside ingredients falling apart and the flavor was on point, not overpowered by any single ingredient just a great tasting and looking burger!! Definitely overtip the staff they deserves it!

Croque Madame and the Fried Chicken in the back. Both were amazing!!

It was good, maybe not to the level she pushed it, but really good and we enjoyed our meal. The restaurant is pretty small, but we got there early on a Sunday. No wait, though I'd guess once the church crowd starts arriving it might be more crowded. The entire place is decorated with political memorabilia as it's a frequent stop for politicians getting in the race early in Iowa. It is a 'coffee bean' caucus location, and they're proud of that! I had the biscuits and gravy and added the fried chicken. I was worried it would be too much food and had visions of a giant fried chicken breast, and while it was substantial, it wasn't overwhelming. It was a great dish and I'd order it again. Wife had a basic breakfast omelette. She liked it. Daughter did it right and ordered the French toast, which came with a great blueberry sauce. Lucky for me, she didn't finish it so I did (I'm nice like that) and it was every bit as great as she said it was. An enjoyable breakfast, and I'd return. Service was prompt with coffee refills which is also important!

I started with a strawberry rhubarb pieshake (because I'm a firm believer that desserts should be on the appetizer menu). I liked the flavor. I ate way too much dairy, but that's on me. I should have had a little restraint and gotten the pie ala mode but I wanted to try the pieshake thing. It was fun. I got a double onion burger. I really should have gotten a single, but I took leftovers home. Loved the flavor of the grilled onions. My hubby got the double mushroom & Swiss. I ate one of the mushrooms and they are marinated. The shrooms were incredible. He loved the side of hashbrowns as well as his burger. When I ever get a chance to go back, I'm getting a single Mushroom & Swiss burger and a piece of pie.

My friend from work and I came here tonight. Wow. They have an informal lounge downstairs and a more formal dining room upstairs. The lounge has the same menu plus a lounge menu. So we chose more choice. The lounge was kinda dark and it's not fancy. But it's clean and open. It's fine. The server was terrific. Ash accommodated our need for separate checks (for us each to bill for our meal). She was attentive and pleasant. I asked her what she liked better between a couple of things and she gave me an honest answer. I followed her recommendation, The beet salad was lovely. the dressing had some goat cheese in it and was delicious. The fresh beets on the side really worked with the dressing. My friend got the cheese platter to start and there was lots of cheese. He loved it. He got the lounge version of the salmon, which he thought was great. I got the Artic Char, which was delicate and phenomenal. It was topped with pieces of lobster and caviar like eggs. The fish was delicate and the sauce rich, but not overpowering. It was delightful. For desert, we shared a cheesecake and peanut butter mousse. The cheesecake was great, but the peanut butter mousse... quite literally one of the best desserts of my life! The balance of peanut butter and rich chocolate was perfect. Service was friendly and helpful, and the lounge was relaxed and comfortable. The last time we went, it was packed. This time, 8 of us walked in on a Sunday morning before the Iowa basketball game. We were seated right away. It was pretty empty at 9am. This location looks clean and new unlike some other breakfast places in the area. We received the menus quickly. Drinks were brought out pretty quickly, but that's where "quickly" ended. It took a bit to order. Then we waited probably 30 minutes to get our food. That's an eternity for breakfast food. Given that we had a basketball game to go to, 11AM went from plenty of time, to not much time.
