Tomato Soup

Don't be deterred by the extrrior (in a strip mall with a somewhat confusing entrance): inside, the restaurant is clean and modern and has a great fast casual approach to Indian cuisine. Much like similar restaurants, you choose a base (rice bowl or a naan-bowl), a curry, a protein, and a variety of toppings and dressings. The counter staff can offer helpful suggestions if you are not as familiar with the cuisine; for instance, the staff member told my mother which curries would go together and which ones she would want to order separately. We really enjoyed both of the bowls that we ordered. The tikka masala is rich and flavorful with a little kick, but not overly spicy; you can also add toppings like a cucumber salad or sour cream or raita too cool anything down if you have a more sensitive palate. Fries were perfectly crispy and served with a dipping sauce. The naan was also great to scoop up the additional curry in the bowls; it wasn't ready when we placed our order and did take a little while to come out, but they brought it right to our table and it was certainly fresh. I think this is a great option for a casual, filling, but not unhealthy lunch or a takeout dinner. I will definitely be back to try the other curries that I didn't have a chance to sample.

I'm always a fan of customizable foods. This is a great make-your-own Indian fast food place. Went here for a lunch one afternoon and enjoyed the bowl that I created. The servers were helpful in recommending combinations that would work well. The restaurant itself is a small place with a few tables to enjoy your food. They also offer a rewards program that allows you to redeem a free bowl after a certain amount of dollars spent.

The food here is flavorful and delicious. The staff is really nice as well and the place is kept clean. I took one star off for portion inconsistency and the music. For the toppings they use tongs and each person puts a different amount of toppings so one day you're getting a full bow and others not so much. The owner always makes it very full and puts plenty of sauce but the other workers are inconsistent. The music is loud club music, whereas I prefer quieter slower music when I eat. I still frequent here because it is the best Indian food I have found in town.

Rice Tikka Masala Bowl

This place is a solid 5 stars. I've tried the chicken rice bowl with warm tikka sauce and toppings. The cauliflower curry base is good too but a little spicy. The tikka sauce is amazing, and everything goes together so well. Put a samosa or something crispy on top and call it a masterpiece. The mango lassi is also good but too filling for me. I tried a kachori on top the first time I came here but I was a little stale and hard. They have other sauces like korma and curry sauces and I'd like to try other combos next time. The staff is friendly but..Something I noted since my last visit- they are being a lot more stingy with the quantity of toppings and ingredients. Then I have to request for them to add more... sigh.

Been here twice w the fam. Odd name and questionable neighboring stores, but dont let that discourage you! We love Indian Food and this is some of the best around Polaris. Great options, quality, taste and value. Will be back again soon!

Masala Fries and build your own wrap

Severely underrated fast casual Indian restaurant. They are quick with orders and have designated specials, as well as, build your own option. We are always pleased when we come here.

Today was the first time I ate at Rollz Rice. This restaurant is set up similar to a Chipotle except that the selections are based on dishes from India. You start by choosing a wrap or bowl filled by your protein or vegetables. The selection of toppings (or as they call it, add-ons) and sauces are incredible. The sauces range from mild to spicy and are extremely flavorful. I had the chicken wrap and absolutely loved it.

Kathi Rollz with Methi (fenugreek wrap) with Paneer Tikka Masala + samosa and chutney + Mango lassi

Stopped back in tonight as I've been craving some Tikka Paneer. Glad I did! Since I visited last, they've definitely tightened up the menu. And this time I made it a point to order in-store so I could see the topping to pick out. I had a fenugreek wrap packed with sautéed paneer tikka masala + cilantro rice tipped with red onion, cucumber slaw, spicy sauce, cilantro and a shake of the heat. Um, delicious! And all for under 10 bucks.

Well hallelujah! Nick Fetherolf, the general manager of…read morethe Polaris Swensons has finally gotten Swensons returned to its former Akron area glory. Okay people. Start eating at Swensons! You wont be sad you did! Why???? Since my last written review, I've been to this location three times since this review. And let me tell you each of those three times everything has been perfect. The car cops are again actually running! They are supposed to do this. It ensures your food is delivered quick and timely no unnecessary long waits. This made me happy So happy. But what made me happier? They have finally got the right flavor of their signature burgers. A Swensons burger should have a little bit of sweetness to it. It did!!! The bun should always be fresh. It should have a little bit of butter grilled onto it. It should come out to you warm. It was. The lettuce should be crisp, green. It was! . There should be enough cheese on it to taste cheese. The cheese ratio was ideal. The past three trips this has been exactly what I have experienced. I was thinking it was a fluke, but its not. This manager has finally gotten things running sloothly. not only have the car cops run, but the burgers have been flawless, even down to the extra bacon, nice and crispy, but not overcooked and the grilled onions have been grilled perfect perfectly Color me impressed The staff at the Polaris location is excellent Big shout out to Owen the carhop that I had today. Thank you for helping me. I enjoyed my trip in.

Finally I pulled in where the big menu sign, I just parked there, don't know what to expect. You know how you pull into Sonic Drive In; you press the red button and someone will take your order over the speaker? Well.. not here, so I'm like ooookay; I look around and see maybe a camera they see me parked here? How is this work?? I see a sign says "Turn on the light for service" at this time, some guy came up to me and put something on my windshield, asked me I'm ready to order. I'm like I don't know, I never been here before, how is this work? So if you like me, never been here before, this is how it work. If you been here before, you can skip this part. So there is a big parking lot, once you pull into a spot, you turn on your light, someone will come and help you, once you ordered, you turn your light off. Ah....now you know. I like the double cheese burger, this come with onion, pickles and mustard only, I like my burger with lettuce and tomato, add on is $.39 each topic, that's cool, large fries please. The guy is super nice, very friendly, he recommended something else with bbq sauce in it, I'm not into it, I just took the double cheese burger Now the burger is nothing special, is good, better than Mickey D or Burger King, Fries is a-okay, nothing special I won't go out my way to eat here, but if I have to pick Mickey D or Burger King or KFC, I will pick this spot for sure, you know what I mean. Food I giving it 3/5 Service is 5/5 The guy is super nice, and he actually run to the customers, I tipped him $2 cash, and the food I think came out like $9 and change, pretty affordable

It's been a minute since I've been here, and honestly, I forgot how good it is. I went all in with the Chicken Pot Pie Soup, Mama's Meatball sandwich with peppers, and a bag of Zapp's Hot Pepper chips--because moderation is for people who don't love flavor. The Chicken Pot Pie Soup? Well, let's just say it leaned more "cream of chicken" than "pot pie." The crusty topping... I'm not sure what sorcery that was, but it had the texture of something between a crouton and a pulverized Ritz cracker that lost its way. Not bad, just... confusing. cracker The Mama's Meatball, though, stole the show. Delicious, saucy, and stacked like it's proud of itself. The peppers gave it just the right kick. And Zapp's chips? Always a chaotic good choice. Overall, great lunch, great company, and a reminder that Potbelly still knows how to make comfort food without overcomplicating it. Would I come back? Absolutely. Just maybe I'll skip the soup--or bring a pie crust of my own next time.

I like my food to look just as good as it tastes, with the exception of Skyline Chili. My better half had a hankering for chili and because I didn't feel like putting up a fight, because I get to choose where we are going for dinner, I let him have Skyline (and let him get me some). Wife of the year. He got the order to go. I asked for two chili cheese sammies, no mustard or onion. When I opened the box there were three. He said "Well, if you don't eat the third, I will." Looks aren't everything, because If they were I probably wouldn't have eaten these. They didn't look awful, but they also didn't look great. Prior to eating them, I thought, "Nope, I'm only going to eat one and a half, maybe two, but definitely not three." I bit into the first sandwich, then proceeded to eat all three. The aroma of cinnamon, chili, garlic, flew through the air. The chili was rich, topped with a ton of shredded cheese. Skyline Chili is a Greek recipe, and you can tell that by the notes of cinnamon in their recipe. It was pretty reminiscent of the chili I grew up eating. I didn't leave an extra sammie for my husband. Oops. Apparently my pep talks are worthless. Pros: -Taste of the Chili -Notes of cinnamon -Soft buns -Mountains of cheese Cons: -My pep talks -My self control -The way the sammie looked Tip: If you're not a fan of hot dogs, get just a chili sammie. Skyline Chili is originally from Cincinnati I believe, but they do have a few locations around the Columbus metro area, so it worked out perfectly for us. There is a drive through, but what's odd is that there is also a proper sit-down restaurant on the inside too. It's not even your normal fast food experience of ordering at the counter and then waiting for your food and sitting down to eat. No, it's actual waiters and a dining room where they seat you and come to you to take your order and bring your food. I've heard a ton about both the Skyline spaghetti and chili dog, so naturally I got both to try! The chili definitely tastes unlike any chili I've ever had. Very cinnamon-y, but pleasant! The hot dog was fine, the spaghetti was also fine. Nothing remarkable, but it was just something I had wanted to check off my list...and now I have! There are a ton of different sizing options for whatever you might want to get. If you like the acquired taste of this chili, then I'm sure you'd enjoy coming here frequently. Service was prompt and everyone we interacted with was lovely!
