Absolutely amazing birthday party! The staff were so kind, helpful and great with the kids. Even some of the other parents were saying what a great time it was. They take care of everything and have it so well organized the parents get to enjoy being there with their kid(s) and not miss a beat. We take our 20 month old Son here for weekly classes and he loves it! The staff is very friendly and up beat. I love how flexible they are with scheduling too! My Son had to miss one of his classes due to a fever and we had no issues getting a make up class the following week. Every class we go to his has a huge smile on his face and then takes a great nap after having so much fun! Highly recommend! read more

I would not recommend this place. My children and I were treated extremely poorly. I was told to wait outside in the cold with my three-year-old and my other child while waiting for our ride. My child was crying profusely because he was not allowed to play, even when I offered to pay for the playtime during our wait. Treating a child in such a heartless manner goes against the purpose of your business. I believe I was treated unfairly because of my race, and the treatment was inhumane. I even begged them to allow me to wait in non-play areas for my ride, but they insisted I wait outside in the cold. To make matters worse, they called the police on me simply for waiting for my ride after attending a party I was invited to. I do not encourage any African Americans to go to Rolly Pollies at Severna. read more

I have been to many kid play area there environment is not kid friendly and not attractive. Best kids gym in the area! I have been taking my kids to Rolly Pollies since my oldest was 18 months! We did the classes and then last year we did the preschool! It was awesome! The staff is so friendly and great with kids! They have a tumble track and a big foam pit! They have a rock climbing wall and a bouncy house with a slide! We now go there for open play when we get a chance! Definitely call ahead for reservations! Also, it's a great place for birthday parties! read more

Chickadee has taken classes here off and on since she was 8 months old. The same owners have just opened a new facility in Crofton, but we've only attended classes in Severna Park. The main draw for Rolly Pollies is its gym classes. Most of the space is devoted to gym/play equipment. There is a big trampoline (tumble track), foam pit, bars, a climbing station, and a moon bounce. Other equipment is set up as well depending on the age of the children. For children ages 6 months-3 years, parent/caregiver participation is required. Classes are well-organized and feature an opening song and circle time. The teachers explain the skills for the day and demonstrate how to help your child at each station. Typically, three staff members are present to help the kids/parents too. After approximately 20 minutes, the class reconvenes for a song and movement. To close the class, older kids (2+) have moon bounce time and younger kids have parachute time. Two criticisms of the gym program: 1) If Martina is not leading the class, you will really notice a difference. She is by far the best instructor and the most qualified (she has a doctorate in physical education curriculum development). She is dynamic with the kids and always full of energy. 2) Most classes are too large. If there are more than fifteen kids, it feels like too many. In our most recent class (last fall), there were eighteen 2 and 3 year-olds. This is over-stimulating for the kids in my opinion. It also leads to some potentially unsafe situations in the moon bounce or on the trampoline--too many munchkins running around! Rolly Pollies also offers music and art classes. Chickadee took art one semester, and it was fair. There doesn't seem to be a set curriculum for the art class, just stations of things to keep the kids busy for 40 minutes. One bonus: you don't have glue and paint all over everything at home! The gym is clean, but I'd like to see more spot-cleaning during classes with the little ones (sometimes there's saliva on the equipment--eww!). There is a changing table in the bathroom. The front desk folks are usually very helpful and friendly. read more

I have taken my 2 year old here a few times. We go for open play and its great to get that last bit of energy out of him before nap time. Open play is somewhere around $10 bucks. A bit pricey which is the cause for the lack of 5 stars but other than that this place is amazing! They have a tumble track that DS loves running up and down and bouncing on. They have a foam pit!!! Nobody has a foam pit anymore, I love it! They have a moon bounce they blow up during the play time and they also have a zip line. They also have a rollercoaster toy and a rock wall... Could your child really ask for anything more?! I think not! This is an amazing place with so much to do. I just wish classes weren't so expensive or I would sign him up to go more often. read more

My daughter is 2yrs old and she hasn't done the gym classes yet but Rolly Pollies offers an art class which she absolutely loves. She looks forward to it every Wednesday and the time spent watching her create is truly a pleasure. The instructor and her assistant are very friendly, and love working with the kids in the class. They start off reading a book to them which is the theme of the day for the art they will be creating. The parents can even do art of there own with their kids which I often find myself doing. Her class is almost over but we will be signing up for more. the grandparents, aunts and uncles love getting some of her art projects from time to time and often we bring them as well to the classes so they can watch. My daughter loves it which means my wife and I love it. Looking forward to Wednesday night. read more

My 3 year old and 1 year old loved going to gymnastics classes at Rolly Pollies. They have gone to 2 sessions each, with different instructors and everyone was enthusiastic and friendly. There was plenty of time for free play, but there were also activities that challenged the kids while still being fun. We also had our son's birthday party here, which gives you an hour of play time including the moon bounce and instructors helping out and playing with the kids, then a half hour of time in the art room for cake, etc. All the kids had a great time, and the price was reasonable. read more

We recently had a birthday party here for two of my sons, and all the parents I've spoken to said their kids had a blast! Several of the guests now want to have their birthday party at Rolly Pollies. My kids love Rolly Pollies! We have been going to open plays since they were 2 and they always have a great time. The Staff are always very friendly and helpful. They truly enjoying playing with the kids and it shows! My daughter has Spina Bifidia and has to wear leg braces to walk and they have always been very accommodating to her needs. When she was enrolled in the 3 year old tumbling class the instructors made sure to challenge and encourage her to do her best. Rolly Pollies is always a good time! read more

I heard mixed reviews about this location but decided to check it out. I made an online inquiry and was emailed back about different classes available for my child's age. I asked a couple of questions about the different classes and with the information given I decided to try out and registered ( Gave my Child's personal information) for one of the classes they recommended. My child had a blast but because my child was brand new to this class I asked the teacher that worked with my child, Erica, If she though my child would do well in the class or if we should go with another class. I was told that my child had done great and would thrive in this class. There were a couple other kids her size so I was excited when she connected with some of the kids. We filled out all the paper work and they sent me an invoice and we were set for our class in two weeks when the winter sessions (new class) would start, Today I get a call, THE NIGHT BEFORE THE CLASS that my child is now super excited about, stating that the class is for 3 and 1/2 year olds. Mind you I registered ( with detailed information) and went to a trial class already, and two weeks have gone by. I explained I picked out of the classes THEIR LOCATION sent to me and refereed to all the information that said 3-4. I pointed out that I also took the time to talk to the teacher about my child to make sure it would be a good fit. I got nothing but affirmation that it was all great. So now they are saying that its probably fine then since my child worked with Erica, one of the main teachers. I get a call back close to 8pm STILL THE NIGHT BEFORE THE CLASS stating that the class is almost full and a lot of blah blah blah but my child won't be included in this class. Not only have they wasted so much of my time but now I have a child who will have a broken heart in the morning (because she is already asleep) about not being able to go to a class she has been looking forward to for two weeks. They want to make excuses but that only adds to how incompetent and unprofessional they are. read more

My two kids loved coming here, but only for the first part of the session. For the money they get a lot of free time which I can do for free at the playground. Most classes run only 45 minutes and at least 20 minutes is setting up, bouncing in and taking down of the moonbounce. Very little skill building and technique from what I can tell. They also offer music and art classes, but always seem to be hiring for them. Consider The Little Gym for another close by option. read more

We have always gone for free play on and off through the years and the kids love it. This year we did my son's 6th birthday. All of the kids had a great time (even most of the adults were playing). The staff is great too! They interact with the kids and you can tell they really enjoy their jobs. We will be having more parties here in the future. read more

I can't say enough good about how wonderful this facility, staff and programs are!!! Luke is almost finished being a Bumblebee, and is signed up for Butterflies next session. We opted for unlimited classes and I take him once a week and his other grandmother takes him sometimes another day - his mom and dad have also joined the fun. The class is the perfect combination of short group songs and movement, and simple structured exercises. As an only child he is learning how to follow group exercises and it has been delightful to watch him begin to anticipate each element of the class every week. He beams when I pick him up and tell him we are going to Rolly Pollies RUNS to the door when we get there. The staff is FABOULOUS!!! My nephew had his 5th birthday party celebration here and they did a really great job entertaining a large group of kids his age. The leader was kind and the kids listened to him, which is important! They made my nephew feel special which is what made it a wonderful experience. I deducted only one star because it smelled stuffy and sweaty as soon as you comes in. read more

I just started taking my daughter here and we love it! Our favorite parts are when we sing songs and interact with the instructor leading us. For the cost of the classes I would suggest possibly more time with fun songs and creative ways to interact with baby vs more then half the class being just "free play". It is nice to talk with other moms and let baby explore, however for the mommy and me class experience, I would prefer more structured interactions with baby. read more

My almost 4 year old takes the intro to gymnastics class. The class is advertised for 3.5 year olds and up, so you'd expect the teachers to be able to appropriately handle 3.5 year olds, no. The don't allow parents in the gym during class which is awesome, please, don't let us interrupt the class, I completely agree with this, BUT kindly call my daughter by the right name. Her nickname is fine, the shortened version of her name, but calling her Deanna for 45 minutes when her name starts with an "A" is unacceptable, UNACCEPTABLE-4 weeks into the class. The teachers are rude and catty and snap at the kids for "not doing it right", when the kids are putting in effort and trying to learn. They get angry when these kids don't listen as they snap at them and grab at them, but who would listen to them acting like that?!?!?! I tried talking to them about my daughter and I was met by eye rolls. My daughter got yelled at for running over and asking me if I saw her jump. They have ruined my daughters excitement for gymnastics. I'm not naive in thinking my 3.75 year old is the perfect child... she has a hard time focusing with all the extra fun things in the room and doesn't listen to people who won't bother to learn her name and when they do finally use her name, snap at her. I again will repeat, my daughter isn't perfect and can be difficult, but don't advertise a class for 3.5 year olds if you can't handle 3.5 year olds. I wish I could give less stars. I will note I have been trying to speak with a manager without luck for quite a few days now. read more

For the price for baby class $130 I kinda expected more. I have went to classes and been disappointed. It seems more like a social hour for staff. One disappeared in the back asking the other what she would like ordered for lunch. Honestly AA county library does a baby class for free that is more interactive then this class. read more

This place feels like family. We have been attending for at least three years nonstop. My son (5) is in sports jam which is his favorite activity of all time and my daughter (3) is in art and gymnastics. My soon was in the gymnastics before he was old enough for sports jam. So disappointed! We've been to the Crofton location & loved it. I decided for this rainy day, we'd try the open play at the Severna Park location to change things up. I checked the reviews & they were mostly great. As soon as we walked in, I was shocked at how much smaller & crammed together everything was. My son just turned 2 and was constantly being run over and knocked down by older kids who had been dropped off. The staff was 2 teenage girls who were busy chatting & not supervising the "drop off" kids. At one point in the bounce house, another kid pushed my 2 year old in the face. That was the last straw. I climbed in & scooped him up & decided we were leaving. My son was screaming & the staff never came over to make sure he was ok. On the way out the door, a different staff member saw us leaving & came to ask if he was ok. I was on my way out with a crying toddler so I didn't stop to discuss my issues with the place. We were there for 20 minutes out of the hour. $10 down the drain. Should have just gone to Crofton! read more
