Wedding July 18: I felt compelled to ensure someone was made aware of the disconnect and dissatisfaction at my daughter's wedding last Friday evening. First, I want to make very clear. I do not believe it's the fault of the two bartenders. I was on the planning phone call prior and felt we had a solid plan. There was clearly NO communication. 1. As I was walking thru, a bartender grabbed me (mother of the Bride) and asked me if I knew what they were serving. I told her the two mock tails and I directed her to the items in the bar & kitchen. I advised her the set up bar outside and showed her where to place it. I also reminded her of the lemon and lime garnish. I informed her of the service elevator location. **if this was a new location why wasn't this information provided to them?!?! So glad I walked by.... 2. The bar outside never got set up. They used a table with a black tablecloth. This is not what we agreed upon..you sent us a picture of the pop up bar! 3. The mocktails evidently did not need club soda, but for some reason Club soda was on the grocery list. I have 16 L unopened in my garage?!?! See mocktail sign with ingredients. Why did I purchase? 4. Garnish... not one drink had a garnish during appetizer hour. I noticed later inside, lemon & lime wedges were cut. Not sure if they were used. 5. On the phone we talked about having a tea & lemonade dispenser on the end of the bar and I asked if they could keep filled. The reply was yes! Neither knew to question. The dispensers were never placed. They poured iced tea upon request from a gallon jug. If they knew they were to keep filled as we discussed why didn't they question?!? 6. Tip jar. We were very clear on the call, greenhouse loft does not allow tip jars so we paid 20% gratuity ahead of time. Not once, but twice, it was requested they remove the tip jar off the counter. The jars appeared pretty healthy. I suggest the pre paid gratuity gets credited. 7. On the call we discussed alcohol service after 930 yet my daughter, the Bride, flags me during dinner that people are walking around with beer bottles. There was a reason we had alcohol during the after party. Ashamed this request was not respected. 8. At the end of the night the bar was nicely cleaned. I leaned over to find 9 items in the fridge. Wine, sparkling cider & tea. 6 of the 9 items had no lids or corks. The white wine & 3 ciders were full, never used. So wasteful!!!! My husband and I poured down the sink in the kitchen. 9. The grocery list was received 2 days prior. We spoke very clearly on timing & types of beverage service yet the grocery list included coke, Diet Coke, etc. clearly no attention to detail. I'm sure there may be other things. These are the things that caught my attention. Very disappointed and would not recommend this service to my family or friends.
