I had my wedding & reception at the Abbey Station last Summer. We were very happy with the customer…read moreservice. Tonja, Al & Colleen were so helpful in planning our event. The price for rental of the venue was cheaper than most places and included all tables, chairs & linens (minus chair covers). The only downside is that you have to use their caterer (Bridges Catering) and buy alcohol from their bar. Our guests were very happy with the food and said it was some of the best wedding food they have had (pasta buffet). We had a very tight budget and they were willing to help us find the best selection for the price. We also held our wedding here to save some money. It was neat having the trains in the background. Luckily none came through while we held our ceremony. There is a covered place to have the wedding if you are planning something small. We had about 50 guests and it was pretty tight. My only complaint was the service on the night of the reception. The people they have working didn't offer any refills on water and didn't offer the coffee that we paid for. Some of the guests told me later that it took awhile for them to clear the tables. Other than that, this was a great place for a wedding. I highly recommend it to anyone that wants a unique reception or needs a place that will fall into a tight budget.

Rolling Hills Event Rentals will be my go-to in the Quad Cities, hands down…read more I am new to the area so I sent out inquiries to a handful of rental businesses in the area. Nearly all of them were unresponsive (at best). But alas, Collin got back to me in a timely fashion and answered all of my questions. (Fun fact: Collin and wife, Stephanie, started the biz after they got married in 2019.) I contacted them about two weeks prior and they were able to accommodate. Pricing is pretty standard. Selection is above average -- they have some beautiful vintage pieces, too. Delivery was prompt. Turnaround time and responsiveness are stellar. If you have an event that you need rentals for in the Quad Cities, look no further than Rolling Hills Event Rentals. This locally owned small business will have just what you're looking for at a reasonable price point.

She was very rude from the beginning and didn't listen to anything we said just kept saying "we don't have that" for specific linen colors and such. She didn't offer any ideas or help at all. She said "yeah, I know the owner won't get that for you." Then after just being on her computer most of the time she suggested we go with a different company but still made sure to tell us the stuff they were selling from their business and we could buy it. And I wasn't asking for anything over the top I wanted simple and elegant. If I could rate this place with zero stars I would simply because she wasn't helping to show us what she did have available or anything in place of the things we were thinking about. I will NEVER recommend this place even for a consultation.

Owner lacked professionalism several times throughout the wedding weekend - was disrespectful to members of the wedding party & parents of the bride & groom, was unresponsive/unreachable/"missing" during critical moments of wedding day, lacked attention to detail throughout the entire process (i.e. misspelled Groom's name on handouts after being told repeatedly to correct this information), misrepresented her billing practices for "consultation" & "day of" services. Do not recommend.

She also played good music to give a chill vibe. They have a nice selection of wine, beer and non-alcoholic beverages. There were a couple of breaks where you had time to relax/refresh your beverage/use the restroom. Everything is set up and ready to go! The class is small enough, you're able to get one on one attention if you fall behind and this is fun for people of all skills levels. The steps are easy to follow and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Stevie assured us there are no mistakes. Sounds like they have events specific to Date Night where you create complementary paintings(two different paintings that go together). They also offer events! Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

I can't count how many compliments I received about the amazing atmosphere Lisa created for my 50th birthday. I came to her with three random ideas--Sally O'Malley, Miss Hannigan, and kitty cats--and she turned them into a playful, immersive wonderland. Guests walked the red carpet through velvet ropes like it was a NYC premiere, surrounded by pure joy. Every detail was spot-on: Miss Hannigan tending bar, kitty cats peeking around corners, and Sally O'Malley touches everywhere. Lisa even surprised me with Annie wigs, a camel, and the crowd favorite: glowing hula hoops. Every nook and cranny became a picture-perfect moment. She delivered everything exactly within my original quote, and her professionalism, creativity, and warmth made the whole process fun and stress-free. I'd hire her again in a heartbeat--even from 1,000 miles away. I nside Décor is pure magic.
