I didn't expect much regarding food choices and even food quality, but I had hoped to be delightfully surprised. The menu is as you would expect from a bar, with lots of fried food. They did have a choice of three different kinds of salad so I went with the healthiest option which was grilled chicken salad. The salad was fine but the chicken was terrible. It was way over cooked and did not even taste good. I ate probably 2 ounces of chicken or less and focused on eating the rest of the salad. Everyone at our table said the service was great but their food was marginal. Prices were reasonable but with the lack of decor and acceptable food, I figured I wouldn't never return there. Later that night I was hit with some severe digestive problems and we will leave it at that.

I actually went back to this establishment a few times because I wanted to give Stout's Irish Pub the benefit of the doubt. I thought maybe the first experience was just an off day for the waitresses. Unfortunately, after going back, I realized it wasn't a one-time thing. Each time, I've found the service to be rude, dismissive, and generally unwelcoming. There seems to be a select group of staff who are very close with certain customers and will spend their time talking with and befriending them, while other customers are seemingly ignored. I've also noticed staff spending a lot of time on their phones or sitting at the bar instead of checking on customers. The overall attitude from some of the staff gives off major "mean girl" energy. It's especially noticeable because there was a newer staff member during my most recent visit who was genuinely kind, attentive, and good at her job. I really enjoyed interacting with her, and she honestly stood out from the rest in the best way. The food is just okay and, in my opinion, lacks flavor. If you order it to go, expect it to be pretty soggy by the time you get home. I gave this place multiple chances because I really wanted to like it, but unfortunately the repeated poor service and mediocre food have completely turned me off. I won't be returning.
